Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites

What an amazing week away we have just had. Everything from arrival, to checking out was absolutely amazing. The views are just incredible, you can see the sea from every part of the hotel. We had a two bed room which was very spacious and had two bathrooms. It was extremely clean and the quality of soaps, shampoos etc were really good. There are 3 great pools, all with smaller baby pools next to them. The sun-loungers do get reserved about 8:30am so you need to make sure you get some before they’re gone. The beach is a stoney one but it’s very nice and well kept and the sea is amazing to swim in. We had a party of 8 and could always get sun-loungers at the beach. The food is really good and has a lot of choice and lots of lovely salads. I have to say the à la carte restaurant wasn’t great so wouldn’t bother eating there again. You can get to Kos Town on the public bus which stops right outside the hotel which only costs €2 per person, per way. It’s definitely worth a visit, there’s lovely shops and restaurants and has a marina with boats. The entertainment in the evening was excellent, we went every evening. Lastly, the staff are incredible!!!! I’ve never been to a hotel which such lovely staff. In particular George, the most hard working man! Always smiling and there to help. He made such a fuss of children (Arthur + Heidi) I hope you’re reading this because my children loved you! He took my baby up to dance at the entertainment and would always go the extra mile. Anastas in the main restaurant was also very hard working and attentive with drinks. Another lovely member of staff was Joy in the bar, she remembered my son liked bananas and had one ready for him when we came up in the evening, and gave him a lolly. It’s these little things that made the experience so amazing! I’m sad we couldn’t stay longer as you could definitely spend 2 weeks here easily, just relaxing, drinking and taking in the views.

I just come back home from an amazing stay at Dimitra beach hotel. I would like to thank you very much to all team for the hospitality and kindness. They all are welcoming and happy to come across the customers needs at higher level. They offered me even a birthday cake for my birthday wich made my day wonderful. The location it is stunning. The resort is very quiet and well presented. My room was overlooking the sea wich delighted and relaxed my holiday. I just want to congratulate the whole team for all efforts to keep the customers services and wishes at higher standards. I would definitely like to stay again soon as will have the opportunity.

A wonderful week. Very clean at all times, couldn’t fault that. Staff ever so good and welcoming. Joanna and her team at the Thalasa bar were great - efficient and a delight. Anastas in the main dining room never failed to make you smile while being attentive at all times. ✖️ And of course George, always there on hand for anything and always sporting a huge grin. Thank you to all for making it such an easy, relaxing fun week.

What a LOVELY Hotel! Firstly, the view is to die for! The sea and everything is stunning, gorgeous light throughout, breezy, bright, relaxing - total Joy! All the staff from the Reception, Cleaning (Floor 6), Restaurant and Bar, Kitchen were so warm, friendly, welcoming, attentive. A few honourable mentions are Anastas, George, Joy and Spence. I wish I could name everyone I encountered. They are a total asset to the Hotel honestly!!! The Room I had was clean, minimal, perfectly pleasant, bright, relaxing, but it was all about the view from my 612 Room. Stunning! I'm going to throw in a negative, which was the Al La Carte Restaurant, not due to the setting or the Team, but the food was most probably the worst food I've had in any restaurant: very olive-oil based tomato soup, Seafood Risotto with Crab sticks(!?!) and ice-cream Strawberry sauce on a Panna Cotta...just no. Back to the Positives! The Buffet Restaurant (Flavors) was excellent, with so much choice through out Breakfast to Dinner. Lovely setting, superb service and yummy food (different cuisines every night). There were Gluten Free options for break and snacks. For an All Inclusive Hotel, the Drinks options were vast and generous, and generally top-notch! Whether it be a soft drink or a cheeky cocktail. The local Beer to was delicious. Pool-wise I didn't spend too much time in/around the multitude of pools the Hotel has, but they all looked great. The place to go for me was definitely the beach. Despite being all pebbles/stone, my family (6 adults and 2 children) always managed to get enough loungers together from after 10am. The sea was lovely to swim in (but can be humorously interesting to get your balance right walking into the water). So refreshing, mostly calm and the breeze too! It was a pleasure to swim in everyday, late morning to early evening. Finally, the entertainment at the Hotel was really great. Super acts, good vibes and nothing OTT. Started 9pm and finished 10:30-11pm. We went to Kos Town/City via the public bus one day, which was cheap and convenient. The Hotel does over a shared shuttle bus too (payable). The only potential downside for the Hotel is there are a lot of stairs, so some families with young children or people with mobility issues, may struggle. However, the Hotel do provide a Gold Caddy service to take you from Reception to near your room etc should you need. We managed with at least 1 pushchair, and a 3 year old. From, day 2 I said to the family that I would LOVE to return to the Dimitra <3 Thank you for making our family holiday so special. I think we will be back next year...

Location is isolated but the hotel provides everything you need. We felt that the staff (especially Night Auditor Giorgos, Waitress Adina, Waitress Den on the terraces 👌🏻, Gilbert in the restaurant, and on pool side Dennis with Christina) were exceptional, however everyone was so hard working. The hotel food was amazing. A nice relaxing holiday. Rooms - Junior Suite were very good. Definitely value for money as an All inclusive package.
