Evripides Village

Quiet location, good for the families, altough there is no evening animation. Close to Kardamena town. Nice and clean hotel. Very friendly staff. There is a shop near by and a cheap car rental. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are being cleaned everyday, roomservice ladies are very helpful. The atmosphere in hotel is great. Good value for money. Great location for trips. Close to Zia, Kardamena and old Kos town.

My husband and I stayed at Evripidis Village Hotel on a short getaway at the end of June on our way to Nisyros. The owners Denise and Nikos were very attentive and very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable to sleep. They provide breakfast lunch and dinner for whomever does not want to leave the premises. The pool was refreshing and there is a bar area that hosts entertainment on select days. It is in close proximity to the beach and tavernas by the water. It’s a lovely hideaway for a short and rejuvenating getaway or a longer stay. We enjoyed being there and would recommend a stay at Evripidis Village Hotel. Eleni and George Grammatikopoulos

Great food, helpful and kind staff - especially Lori at the bar and a gardener - both always with a smile on their faces creating a great atmosphere. The only issue was the bus transfer which didn’t drop us off all the way at the hotel. Nevertheless the owner complained to the bus company to solve this issue for the future. Amazing place. Would recommend again. *lot of mantises (if you are into bugs) :D

Nikos and Wife, you are most wonderful and nicest helpful people in the world!!! Also your staff in restaurant, bar, reception and cleaning ladies. We will be truly happy to come back next year with bigger company. Rooms nice and comfortable, meals are delicious!!! ☺️😋🥙🍝🥗🍲🍛🍜🍰🍗🍖 All envirement is peaceful, near the sea. Arrived at midnight and was greeted by Gabriel, who insisted on taking my suitcase, and were shown to a lovely room, with walk in shower and the most comfortable beds and pillows we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. On waking, we realised we didn’t have the sea view that we had booked, so went to reception and received huge, genuine apologies first from Denise and then from Nikos and was given a beautiful room with sea view. For days after we were apologised to even though it wasn’t an issue to us. We spent 10 wonderful, relaxing days here and should have booked longer. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed. The pool area and bar are spotless and the sunbeds are very comfortable and plentiful. Nikos and Denise were always visible and always willing to help. They both work very hard to ensure that your holiday is as fabulous as it can be. In fact, we didn’t meet a member of staff that wasn’t helpful and friendly, even the cleaner who saved us from the balcony when my silly husband locked us out on it and chased him with his phone on check out day! The location is absolutely stunning, whatever view you have, and the beach is a minute or 2 stroll. The food was nice and plentiful, I especially loved the fresh salads every day. What we loved most about this hotel was the family feel. If you speak to Nikos you can see how much of his heart is in the hotel that he built himself. While there we were lucky enough to experience the Greek night with Nikos’ aunties from Australia, which was fantastic and lots of fun, we laughed lots that night. All in all, if you a problem, don’t take to social media, go and see someone and if possible they will do everything they can to rectify it. Also, I’ve read bad reviews about minor issues, my advice is walk away from the minor issue and look at the fabulous scenery instead. We will definitely be going back but this time armed with lots of products to fight off the mozzies, they’re brutes! Thank you all for a wonderful holiday and we’ll see you soon!
