Exceptionally helpful services - I am disabled, and they made sure everything was just right for me without any fuss. Food decent enough, and reasonable choice. I have only one complaint - please tell the chef to abandon "Asian food night" - they have no idea how to cook Asian food and it was the one truly dreadful experience in the entire two weeks! One comment not related to the hotel, but this hotel is not anywhere near the 5 stars that it is listed as by the Greek Government, and the hotel tax is now getting wildly ridiculous. The extra tax amounted to 10% of my total two week holiday costs - including flights!Hotels are going to be priced out of reach at this rate.

Had the best time, take no notice of the negative reviews, these people must come from another planet or be super privileged… Ok the wine isn’t the best but there is the option to purchase better bottles. The staff are top class, special thanks to Klaerd, Spiros and Ali behind the bar, top guys and Alexandria our housekeeper, so professional. The food is beautiful, for those who have said any different they are again at the wrong hotel for their standards. We have been to all the Greek Islands over the last 20 years and loved Gaia so much we booked to go again next year before we left (that speaks volumes) Thank you Gaia Palace, see you in 350 days ❤️

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — especially my friend Nikos, who is simply the best! The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. The food was delicious and offered plenty of variety, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for relaxation. We also had so much fun at the bar with Ani and Klaerd, whose great sense of humor made every evening even better — they’re the best too! The hotel’s location right by the sea is just perfect. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

I would not recommend Gaia Palace. This hotel is advertised as 5-star, but in reality, it’s no more than a 3-star experience. The bed was so uncomfortable that I barely slept the entire trip. My bathroom sink was broken and leaking, and the kettle didn’t work (these were fixed quickly). Around the hotel, areas were dirty and clearly neglected, with even the poolside toilet lid broken – basic facilities simply not being maintained. There was also a lingering smell of sewage around the hotel, which was unpleasant. The food was terrible – poor quality, little variety, and mostly lukewarm and bland. Glasses were always warm, so the drinks were too. If you don’t book ultra all-inclusive (an extra €25 per person per day), you’re limited to just a choice of three cocktails after 6pm, and no food or drinks are included at the beach. The snack bar food was also disappointing – something fresh would have been nice. The only positives were the pool areas, which were pleasant enough, and the drinks were okay. The staff were friendly and did their best, but their efforts couldn’t make up for the overall lack of quality and care. This is absolutely not a 5-star resort. At best, it’s a tired 3-star hotel that badly needs investment, maintenance, and improvement. Definitely not worth the money.
