Gaia Palace

I will first start with the positives for this hotel, the staff are very kind and very helpful. The bar staff and waiters are great, there where two young men on the bar near reception that where very polite and worked very hard all evening every evening. The swimming pools are beautiful and there is no need to rush to get a sunbed in the morning as there was always plenty available. The hotel itself was quiet and felt very relaxed We enjoyed the food, there was plenty of selection. The negatives. I wouldn’t rate this a 5 star hotel we have stayed at plenty and I would say this is very basic. There was a smell of sewage most days around the pool and near our rooms that was very unpleasant. The hotel is located away from the town so you have to get a 20 min taxi into the town so in total would cost 40 euros there and back. Certain things I feel should be included in the all inclusive package for example is the pool table, each game of pool costs you 2 euros and we have been to many hotels and we have never had to pay extra to use the pool tables. The mini golf I feel should also be included (you have to pay 5 euros per person) You pay a lot of money for the all inclusive package so I feel like most things should be included. The alcohol was awful, we ended up going out to buy our own. Overall we had a relaxing holiday but I definitely wouldn’t rate this hotel 5 star, more like 3.5

One of the best Vacations We ever had! We visited the Hotel the first Time last Year and we couldn’t wait to go there again. The Beach is really beautiful and sometimes you even can see the Black Vulcano Sand. The Hotel has a really beautiful Outdoor Area. The Food was absolut fabulous too. We absolutely loved the Animation Team this Year!! So much love to Hermina, Csenge and Margot!! You made our stay absolutely perfect and I can't thank you enough for everything. We would definitely come back.

We spent a week in Gaia palace with my kids and husband the hotel was in the middle of nowhere so we looked for good entertainment so we didn’t have to leave the hotel the girls were amazing Emma Jenga and Hermina they entertained the people and my kids amazing and almost every night was something to do. very fun bingo or beach party what was so fun and they always tried to make people happy so I want to thank them for making our vacation unforgettable

What a disappointment this holiday turned into. On first sight the hotel looks the 4star plus as stated, but after the first night we realised that it is very overrated. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere with nowhere else to go to within walking distance. It is advertised as having daytime and evening entertainment which was next to embarrassing, the animation team was too young and inexperienced, they had bingo which cost 5uro a ticket and the prize being a tee shirt and a soft toy, it was dragged out to fill the time. You couldn't call what was offered entertainment . Over the 10 nights we had 3 night which had what was called professional entertainment. The cocktails offered on all inclusive where only a choice of three and ended at 9.30pm. The only positive thing I can say for my experience was that the Reception Staff Bar staff & restaurant was all very friendly, polite and helpful , everything else was a big disappointment, so I would not be returning or recommending to friends or family .

Very quiet hotel in the middle of nowhere with very poor entertainment. Rooms were ok, but nothing special. Grounds were kept clean and tidy. We only stayed a week, so food was ok, but any longer than that and it would have been very repetitive. You definitely need a car if you want to explore, which defeats the point of all inclusive as you’d be out most of the time. The beach was very disappointing with little sand and looked dirty.
