Gaia Palace

We have recently stayed at the Gaia Palace. We enjoyed our time there, the facilities in terms of amenities was brilliant a choice of 4 pools with the addition of an indoor pool in the spa as well and one of the pools was just outside our terrace was lovely. The rooms and the bathroom were spacious. There is a beach that is a 5 minute walk away and that was beautiful. One thing I did love, was the Jasmine flowers dotted all over the resort, the scent of Jasmine was everywhere and felt so fresh as you were walking round. The food had a lot of choice; some good, some bad, but we always found something to eat each day. The drinks, we're not great. The fizzy drinks from their dispenser tasted like it was soda water with a slight touch of syrup. My partner wasn't a fan of the beer either. Water was only available through their dispenser, you had to pay for bottled water (unless you paid for the ultra all inclusive, which was €25 per person per day). Luckily there were 2 mini markets (1 on site and 1 at the top of the road) so we bought bigger bottled waters and fizzy pop from there. The hotel is quite remote, it is a 30 minute drive to Kos town, which was €30 each way by taxi. We did also notice a problem with ants, you would come out of your room in a morning and there would be randowm swarms of them at various points, we even had some come into our room at one point. We went to the reception and within 10 minutes, one of the cleaning staff arrived to spray antkiller and then came back to sweep and mop up the debris after. We didn't have a problem after that. We can't advise on any evening or day activities, as we didn't really see anything happen. The staff are so helpful and pleasant at the hotel. Whilst we enjoyed our time here, we wouldn't come back to this hotel

We have just returned after 10 days at the resort. This really is a gem. The resort is beautiful and very clean, the rooms are a good size and beds comfortable. The staff are amazing and so friendly and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable special thanks to Anastasia in the pool bar and Kevi in the main bar. The food is good quality and varied. The only downside is the temperature. By the time you get and sit down, it's often nearly cold. The animation team Leti and Olivia are fantastic, really engaging and friendly, and credit to the team. The newly appointed team leaders should learn from them!!! Evening entertainment is via the animation team, so just quizzes or karaoke, but they do try. The beach is a short walk through the sister hotel Gaia Royal (you can use the facilities here too) it has a bar on the beach, not part of the all-inclusive, but prices are good value. There is crazy golf which is totally ant infested but we still had fun. I would highly recommend this resort and will return

Extremely good animation team! That should be the most important information for any family traveling with kids. Lots of activities during the day!

Our stay at Gaia Palace has been really good overall. Although the restaurant had limited options, the grounds and pools were excellent and very well kept. The biggest highlight for us was definitely the staff — everyone was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially have to mention Abi and Margot… wow! We think they said it was only their second day at the hotel, but you would never know. From aqua gym to aqua dance, and keeping us laughing and entertained from day into night with all their jokes, they were absolutely amazing. They are a real credit to the hotel. Well done girls, and thank you for making our holiday so memorable!!

Animacion was so good, Leti is the best!
