Kipriotis Village Resort

After reading so many negative reviews before travelling, we arrived at Kipriotis Village Resort feeling quite apprehensive. Thankfully, our experience was much more positive than we expected. The rooms are very spacious and, while they’re a little dated, they were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked brilliantly throughout our stay, which was a huge plus in the July heat. Our room was cleaned every other day during our 7-night stay, which we found perfectly acceptable. The food is what you’d generally expect from a Greek all-inclusive. There was always something available, and we never struggled to find a meal. If you’re looking for more variety, Kos Town is only around a 10-minute bus ride away and has plenty of excellent restaurants and bars that are well worth visiting. Without a doubt, the entertainment team made this holiday. Their enthusiasm, energy and professionalism were exceptional from morning until evening. A special mention has to go to Thiago, whose personality and enthusiasm encouraged guests of all ages to get involved. Wherever he was, people naturally gathered, and he created a fantastic atmosphere around every activity. The African acrobatic team were absolutely phenomenal. Their performances were one of the highlights of the week, showcasing not only incredible strength and breathtaking acrobatics, but also outstanding dancing, rhythm and stage presence. The level of talent they displayed was genuinely impressive, and they had the audience captivated every night they performed. Their athleticism, timing and showmanship deserve huge recognition. Overall, the entertainment team are a massive credit to the hotel and played a huge part in making our holiday so enjoyable. While the hotel may not be the most modern resort you’ll visit, it offered good value for money, and our experience was far better than the negative reviews had led us to expect.

Firstly would like to say the check in was a joke , one person behind the desk ,queue of people waiting to check in. no one to show you to the room , told to upload map with QR code and away you go. its a big site and there is not even any luggage trollies. The room was outdated and basic with 1 clean every 3 days. The bars where also understaffed with miserable staff serving you. 1 or 2 people serving , with queue of people. Would like to say the Poseidon beach bar was the best bar by far and Robert was dead friendly and helpful. The entertainment team was good and made up for everything else. One restaurant open when we where there , Breakfast and dinner was ok but evening meals we ate out.

Not a bad hotel in general if you’re looking for a budget holiday. The rooms are advertised air conditioned double rooms garden view bottle of water etc. when we arrived we had none of those things. Bugs everywhere ants all over the balcony Went to reception next morning to ask to change rooms as the room didn’t even have an air conditioned unit in it. We’re given a form by reception to request a room change told to write my phone number down and they will see what they can do. Reception staff were very dismissive kept telling me come back later. Went back about 5 times and they kept telling me to come back. After 3 days we got moved to a new room with air con and it was good after that. If the room needs changing I would recommend sending a man alone to complain as they don’t listen to women. The resort in general is ok it’s standard all inclusive it’s in a good location pools are good a little crowded, it’s a good atmosphere there’s a mini market and arcade Food is very basic had us both feeling bloated after every meal. If you get sick of eating the same reused food every meal I’d reccomend goody’s burger house you can order online delivery or via Wolt. Overall it’s not bad. I wouldn’t come back but I think you get what you pay for. If you are not planning on staying in your room for long then it’s an ideal hotel but just note that the rooms are way too hot without air con

Don't let the negative reviews put you off! Before arriving at Kipriotis Village, we read many negative reviews and honestly started to worry that we had made the wrong choice. We almost let those reviews ruin our excitement before the holiday even began. Thankfully, our experience was completely different. We stayed as a family with two teenagers and had a fantastic holiday. The hotel offered excellent value for the price. The pools were great, the atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we always found something we enjoyed at the buffet. The location was also ideal for exploring the beautiful island of Kos. Is the hotel perfect? No. Some areas could certainly be modernized, but nothing we experienced matched the picture painted by many of the negative reviews. If you're hesitating because of those reviews, give this hotel a chance. Every guest has different expectations, but for us, Kipriotis Village exceeded them. We would happily return and recommend it to other families looking for a fun, relaxing, and good-value holiday.

Here now with my son and having a lovely time. Food is good with plenty of choice and the hotel is clean and has everything to make a good holiday. The entertainment team are amazing and so talented! They are always so happy and friendly and they get you involved and make you feel so welcome, just to mention a few...Lauren, Lydia, Olivia, Harchie and Tiago have been amazing!!! But all the animation team were amazing at their job. Hats off to them all.
