Kipriotis Village Resort

Myself, my partner and our two children stayed here for 10 days. The food was fairly mid, the toilets could have been in better repair and cleanliness, and menus for cocktails / more variety for soft drink like mocktails for non drinking adults would have made this stay 5 star. The room was lovely and the cleaners visited regularly and you could trust to come back to a clean fresh room. But the thing that made our stay absolutely amazing and would be the sole reason for us to return, was the entertainment/animation team. The dedication the team goes to in order to connect with guests is next level. Never have we been to a resort where they have shown such care when socialising with guests, not to mention how talented they all are. They are all very easy to approach and they get you involved without being over-bearing. There are three that stood out massively just because we happened to be around them the most - Lydia, Olivia, and Tiago. But all the animation team were welcoming, amazing at their job and the entertainment was something we looked forward to every day and night. Thursdays was our least favourite day just because we didn’t have them, as they were taking a well deserved day off! If you visit this resort, make sure you make the most of it and join in all the entertainment staff have to offer otherwise you’ll miss out on so many good memories!

This hotel is ok for a base, lots of pools, space and most staff are friendly. Some clearly make comments about guests but obviously in a different language. You cans see them talking and then laughing especially those behind the bar. Lots of broken subbed and the place in general is VERY run down. The area with the slides was in very bad shape with most buildings looking derelict. Food was average and what you would expect for a 3 star all inclusive. Rooms were cleaned but again just made the bed. Sheets/towels not always changed and when we left them on the floor to get clean ones they didn’t always remember to leave new ones so we have to use our own beach towels. There were many guests with issues around patios not locking (ground floor) and air conditioning not working we had to move at 1 am because of this. This being said. We still worked it out yo be better value than going self catering somewhere else then paying for food each day. Average pint was 4-6 euros and same for wine. Had some lovely meals in Kos town so broke up to all inclusive food. For those in a budget it’s still ok just be aware it needs renovations and you will be fine

The holiday was amazing. I really enjoyed time here. The hotel, restaurant and all resort is beautiful. I was here for 1 week. Every day we had many crazy activities with animation team. The evening shows was very special and I was there every evening. Thanks Tiago, Roro, Nicole, Olo, Lids, Dyzzo, Yoga, Hachi, Martina♥️

We have 10 days here and it was a fantastic stay. Firstly and mostly the Staff and so lovely and helpful and fun 😊 the hotel is very accessible with pools bars and food everywhere. The meals are delicious and very vegetarian friendly. All is good 😊 thank you.

The Village Resort is very large, accommodating 2.300 guests at peak times. At capacity the facilities at the resort are unable to cope. However having said that, when we visited the resort it was only 2/3 full. Still at times we had to queue at times for breakfast and for bar service. Staff clearly see their roles as workers and had little interaction with visitors and guests. The card machine at reception "broke down" so the Tourist Tax had to be paid in cash which was a hassle. Location: the resort is ideally situated right next to a pebble beach, however is is roughly 4km from the town of Kos, so cycle hire is essential in order to get around. Cycle hire is cheaper than using the bus (5 euros per day as opposed to 2.30 euros single trip on the bus). Atmosphere: The resort is lively with entertainment by day and by night. Some of the daytime entertainment can be intrusive if you are simply wanting peace and quiet, although we found the Olympic pool nice and quiet. Evening entertainment can be noisy, especially if you have a unit near to the pools. Lovely and quiet in the reception area and adjacent balcony. On the down side we had a party of out of control young people in the block opposite our unit who though nothing of screaming and carrying on until at 2am in the morning. This really spoiled our enjoyment of the resort. Rooms: Here the resort is let down badly. The room we had was very dated and some of the furnishings were falling apart. The bath had been badly repaired and did not have a plug that worked at all. We asked reception for a replacement, but nothing came forward. The bath taps were awkwardly situated in the centre of the bath, so bathing was uncomfortable. The "lounge" area was dark, dingy and very hot, It had one central light fitting and sofa bed with a table. The light was so weak you could not read or play cards, by it. The window blind was stuck in the down position so did not let in any natural light. The double bed in the main room was very hard. The matrass frame slats had been nailed onto the bed frame and some of the nails had not been fully nailed in. As a result, if you tucked in your bottom bedsheet it got caught and tore on the nail heads. The room was not properly ventilated and even with the sliding door fully open it did not allow air to flow. The only way to ventilate the room was to open the front door. As we were on the ground floor this was not an option as you lost all privacy doing so. The curtains in the second bedroom were sewn together which meant that you could not draw them properly. MOSQUITOES are a serious problem, and you need to have insect repellent if you are to enjoy a good nights sleep. Value for money: On the whole the resort is value for money, you get what you pay for. Breakfast was good with a large array of food to suit every pallet. I can't say that I enjoyed the scrambled egg though. Drinks were good, with a large selection to choose from. For dinner we dined at the Atrium restaurant which offered a wide selection of well prepared Greek dishes. On the whole the pools and other facilities were good and we enjoyed ourselves.
