Porto Bello Royal

We stayed at the Porto Bello as a family of 3 with a 12 year old. The hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and a ten minute (2 euro) bus ride away from the nearest town - worth a visit. It has impressive views inland and of the sea - there are stunning panoramic sea views from the terraces and Azure bar (a favourite late afternoon spot for a drink!). The hotel has its own beach, another favourite spot, with crystal clear water, and has 15 pools. The grounds are immaculate! There are a couple of shops on site to get snacks and souvenirs and an arcade for the younger kids with pool tables and table tennis for the older ones - ideal for the cooler evenings in October. We were in the new section, our room 913, had its own pool (for the small block) and a direct sea view. The room was a good size for 3, bathroom was nice, stocked with hairdryer, shampoo, hand soap and shower gel. We also had a tea and coffee station and a mini bar, but this was only stocked with water throughout our stay, Towels were changed daily and beds made. The cleanliness of the room could be improved, we had to wear something on our feet (slippers were not provided). There are 5 restaurants and 4 bars, but opening times were limited - this may be as we were there at the end of the season. The main restaurant is huge, lots of noise so not really somewhere we could relax and enjoy a meal for that reason. However the food was good with something different each day, the pizzas, desserts and ice cream station were fab! The staff were present, offered drinks and cleared tables quickly, they seemed too few (again maybe because it was end of season), so very busy to really interact with guests. The bookable restaurants were good, we went to the Greek, Italian and Burger bar, the food was nice and staff friendly. The staff at the lounge and main pool bars were amazing. We had table service and staff knew and remembered our drinks, however drinks were not premium with only one choice of wine from a box or tap! We didn’t join the entertainment but there was a good selection of day/night time at the pool, the amphitheatre, the lounge and on the beach, the animation team were present and worked hard. Overall we had a great stay at Port Bello. We would return and recommend but I would agree with other reviewers the hotel views are stunning, 5 star, but not quite there yet in other aspects.

The best holidays.I visited this October and it was amazing .my first time in the island. The staff very polite and friendly.the receptionists and the managers were very polite and we did get an upgrate with a swim up pool. I also had a massage at the spa with sissy. The pressure was perfect and the music was very relaxing. They also have a pool and sauna. I will definitely be back soon next year.

Sissy helped me get a nice package for me and my boyfriend, I had a scrub and a Cretan massage with Asimina and after that I got a deep tissue for my back problem and had it with Chris My boyfriend had a kobido with Yanna and he looked 5y younger. I WILL COME BACK and next year I will stay for 2w

My partner and I had an amazing stay at the hotel and a truly relaxing visit to the spa. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everything felt effortless and genuine, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The highlight of our visit was the spa treatment. My therapist, Asimina, was exceptional — professional, kind, and incredibly skilled. She made me feel completely at ease and delivered one of the best massages I’ve ever had. My partner and I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and deeply cared for. We can’t recommend this hotel and spa enough — the perfect place for a couple’s escape and total relaxation.
