TUI BLUE Oceanis Beach Resort & Spa

First the good things . Food in the main buffet restaurant can’t fault it excellent all round not repetitive like some can be and they do things like baked veg boiled potatoes not just chips for the masses . The al a carte restaurant next culinarium well we were excited about trying this one but we were not overly impressed may of been our selection on mains we chose the lamb shank but it was just a huge lump of meat two tiny potatoes. Just personal preference but would have been better with smaller portion of meat (instead of a meat coma ) and more veg maybe a couple more potatoes but I might just be picky. The Italian restaurant was amazing def worth the visit best Caesar salad starter I’ve ever had and the girls and staff in there are very professional and seem happy in their work which always helps to be greeted with a smile . We were lucky enough to visit the dopio restaurant Greek food as it only opened on the 15th May so just got to visit before we leave for home tomorrow . Lovely atmosphere right on the beach lovely food but I was disappointed my main meal was cold as it’s brought from the top so may have been just sitting round for a while before service commenced. The manager Clare is a massive credit to this hotel we had few problems and didn’t get off to a great start. We mentioned the toast getting stuck in the toaster in the mornings management and staff were sticking knives in the back to dislodge the toast and we were worried there would be an electrocution . The management said it was because people were putting cheese on the bread then trying to toast it that’s why that was happening they would stop that. Unfortunately it wasn’t it s carried on still to this day even the big boss stood watching it happen yesterday 15th May so guess someone getting hurt will be the only thing to Impact that. I would suggest bringing ear plugs as the nights are late with entertainment until around 11 then people trapping back to their rooms until 12 or later then the cleaners are outside your door at 6 am waking you up shouting at each other and dragging noisy trollies . I don’t sleep we in any way as I have a chronic pain condition so often went back to our room in the afternoon to catch up on sleep missing the sun but to be honest even with don’t disturb on the door the cleaners still came into the room and because they don’t understand English they just began cleaning so going home for a good nights sleep. Not enough tables in the evenings and there are those staff bringing drinks who are very good and you order your drink they write it down and you get your drink it may take a while but you get it . There are others Lynzy for instance who will take your order but you have to pray you will see it as she forgets and then blames the barmen saying they are too slow and won’t serve her ?? Overall lovely hotel Clare is amazing but needs some tweets

We returned from 10 days at this wonderful hotel last week and what an amazing time we had. We have visited lots of Tui Blue hotels over the years but this one is head and shoulders above them all. From start to finish we were treated as valued guests and left with so many new friends. Our room was in block 2 which was ideal for both the beach, the beach bar and not too far from the reception. We overlooked the very pretty gardens and to our right, the lovely beach. The room was kept spotlessly clean every day by the staff and we never wanted for water or anything else. We had a slight problem with the door when we arrived but this was immediately acted on by Stephanos the manager. That man was everywhere making sure all guests were happy and made to feel welcome. Lovely Selma ( the assistant customer service manager) went out of her way to speak to us every day and was so pleasant and friendly. The food……what can we say except to say that it was probably the best we’ve ever had in any hotel. So much choice at every mealtime, you can’t fail to find something you will enjoy. The buffet restaurant is supervised by Antonis who was everywhere making sure every guest was happy. With his charm and good humour, he made every mealtime fun. In his absence, George did a great job alongside the lovely Joyce who along with Romario made sure my husband’s cappuccino was waiting for him every morning. We preferred to eat lunch in the beach bar which offers a smaller buffet selection and is a bit quieter. This is run by the charming Alex who is such a lovely, professional gentleman. He made time for us each time we went in there and we left last week as friends. At the time we were there, Alex was also overseeing the al a carte Culinarium restaurant. We loved it here! The food presentation was just beautiful and the atmosphere ( if you are lucky enough to get a table overlooking the beach) is wonderful. Alex treated us like royalty in here both times we were there. He is indeed a credit to the hotel. We didn’t stay up every night to watch the entertainment as we could only manage so many late nights but we particularly loved the Tenors night. They were great and so talented. We would love to return to this fabulous hotel as soon as we can fit it into our busy holiday schedule and would highly recommend it to anyone. Just book it, you will not be disappointed. 😍

After having a week's holiday here for the first time last year, my friend and I were very excited to return! This time we knew we would need longer than a week so I had a 10 night stay. Athough after returning to England on Tuesday we realise we should have booked for 2 weeks....so we will return in September for a shorter break then next May again 😊 Highlights and Improvements from last year are:- The TUI Blue Entertainment Team - They have gone above and beyond themselves to make our holiday amazing. The 2 English girls Pearl and Izzy are amazing dancers, happy, helpful and friendly who taught us and showed us various dances! Steve was a very professional experienced DJ, again being amazing at dancing and providing excellent music around the pool. He informed me of what time and where activities were, when I asked him as I didn't use the TUI app. Dino Cappuccino has also been great, good fun teaching us boules and checking how I was and if everything was ok with my holiday! The team provided a variety of activities on offer in the day and evening, some of which I chose to join in with. All the activities were so well organised and such good fun! I love to dance and as soon as the music started I would be on the dancefloor! Overall the team created such a positive, happy experience with lots of energy it made me realise I would love to do something similar! All the staff some familiar faces from last year to me were extremely friendly and helpful. Antonis, George, Lorena, Melissa, Augustus, (Bar Manager),Eminem, Fatima, Yianiss, Alex, Kelly, Nikos were some of the staff I got to know although nothing was too much trouble for anyone! (Sorry about some spelling of there names) All managed by Stephanos who very kindly organised on my friends special birthday for us to have a meal in the outside restaurant by the beach. As we didn't realise it wouldn't be open due to the slightly cooler weather conditions in the evenings in May. This was an extremely kind and heart warming, very touching gesture which we were so overwhelmed at that it gave us happy tears! The food in the Culinarium, Italian and main restaurant was always amazing with plenty of selection. I even tried a selection of greek desserts which I wouldn't have if I wasn't encouraged to by the staff. Lorena's crepes, toasties and ice-cream were always so tasty wish she could make me these in England! 🤣 I really cannot fault this hotel and staff as never in my life have I returned to the same hotel as I like to have new adventures and explore new places. So as soon as I can I am booking to return. I have also never written a Trip Advisor review before so by writing this if you are reading my review I just want to let you know you won't be disappointed if you come to stay here. If you have any problems throughout your holiday just speak to Reception or the Manager Stephanos who will help and rectify any problems or issues immediately. We visited as a couple with friends and had the most incredible time at this stunning adults-only hotel. From start to finish, the TUI Oceanis Beach Hotel exceeded every expectation, and we truly cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautiful. Set right next to the beach, the property is spacious and clean kept. There are two swimming pools with plenty of sunbeds, so finding a great spot to relax and soak up the sun was never a problem. The hotel is wonderfully large and you can walk along the beach with ease. There are also two beach bars to keep you refreshed throughout the day, plus a gym for those who like to stay active. One small tip — pack a pair of swimming shoes as there are some rocks at the beach, but it's a minor thing that's easily sorted! The food is absolutely amazing. Dining is available all day, and with two à la carte restaurants on site. The quality and choice are outstanding. A huge thank you to the kitchen chefs who create such incredible food and such a wonderful atmosphere and energy. The food was amazing! The entertainment team were so good — honestly some of the best we have come across. Every night was packed with brilliant fun: music quizzes, silent discos, live music, and amazing performances. The atmosphere was electric, everyone joined in, and the whole team made sure every single guest had a fantastic time. Great job to each and every one of you! The staff across the entire hotel are super friendly and genuinely go above and beyond to make your stay special. We would like to give a very special thank you to Orgistos, the bar manager, and his whole team — you were absolutely brilliant, so warm and welcoming, and you made our stay truly memorable. Thank you also to all the waiters working across every restaurant — your service was wonderful throughout. The hotel also offers car and motorbike hire at very reasonable prices, which we would highly recommend. Around 2 to 3 days is enough to see the whole island — the views are breathtaking and the beaches are stunning. The city of Kos and the surrounding areas are well worth exploring, and having your own transport makes it so easy. This is without doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Beautiful setting, amazing food, fantastic entertainment, two great pools, a beachfront location, and a team of staff who genuinely make you feel so welcome. We would love to come back — and we will! A huge thank you to the bar team, the entertainment team, all the waiters, and the incredible kitchen chefs. You all made this holiday absolutely unforgettable.

I have just spent the past 10 days at Oceanis beach with my best friend. I have only been home 24 hours and already wish I was still there. And looking to return in September. I visited this hotel for the first time 10 months ago. I don't normally go back to the same hotel but I loved it so much last year, it was a no brainer I would be going back again this year. The hotel had only been open 2 days when we returned. My room was fantastic, spacious with a view of the mountains one side the gardens in front and the sea to the other side. The bed is just amazing and the most comfortable bed I have slept in. We had everything we needed . It was very clean and comfortable and with a stocked free mini bar. The restaurants are all so good. The standards are just amazing. As are all the staff. The ala cart restaurants are just the best. You will not be disappointed. It was my birthday whilst I was there. I was really looking forward to going to the greek restaurant to celebrate as it was my favourite. Unfortunately it was shut at the start of the season, but the wonderful Mr stefanos (the hotel manager) arranged for me to celebrate my birthday there. I was so touched at his kindness and it really was a very special evening, I will never forget. Thank you to Alex the ala cart manager who was a perfect gent and serving us our food and arranged my surprise birthday cake. It was just perfect. ❤️ The staff and hotel manager will go out their way to do everything they can to make your holiday great. If you have any special requests just ask. If they can do it, they will. The entertainment team were new this year to last year. Although I enjoyed last year's, this years were even better. Steve Dino Pearl and Izzy were just fantastic. I am quite disappointed to read another review saying unkind things about the DJ and that the two young ladies being like go go girls. They are beautiful souls who made our holiday fantastic. They spent time with us, let us join in with any of the activities and made us feel part of it all. They are both trained dancers so took Zumba classes and morning stretching, and some of the other activies which you could join in with. They are both very professional and a lot of fun to be around. The DJ Steve set up the music during the day and evening. He was again very professional. The day time music was very chilled around the main pool. With louder music just during the activies. There is a second pool and beach for people who want a more quiet time. For me I loved the energy and i don't normally join in but I did with the team this year. Dino cappuccino was also part of the entertainment team and again good at what he did. A good dancer, and took the aqua fit session with the girls. And the boules on the beach. My friend and I played every day and by the end of our holiday became the experts 😁 There is an outdoor gym we only discovered this time. To be honest it was more like an adults play area where I was like a big kid and had the most fun. Guest relations Clare was also lovely and helpful. The reception kindly printed our boarding passes which was really kind. The reception staff were very helpful and gave us an early wake up call for our leaving day. There are a couple of shops in the hotel. The boutique has the lovely Melissa who will always greet you with a big smile 😁 Yannis one of the electricians will be your man if you have any problems. He has like a Mary Poppins belt that seems to hold every possible item required for any job. 🤣He sorted our hot tub last year and fixed a small problem with something else this year. The hotel are very quick at fixing anything that may need fixing. Just let them know. The staff really make this place. They are all just so friendly. It was great to see so many faces from last year who greeted us like family. Always having a joke with us. They are all really special and it's so lovely to keep in touch with so many. The bar staff are all really helpful and do their best to serve you at the bar and take drinks orders during the day and evening. The new bar manager Augustus was very professional for a young man and leading his team. Along with Kelly and Nikos. The other ladies were also very good. The main restaurant was as good as always. With Giwrgos and Antonis the restaurant Manager always giving you the best service. Emine in the lunch time restaurant and Italian, is another beautiful soul and is just amazing. All the staff truly work so hard. They are a great team and credit to the hotel. I wish I knew all their names to give them all a mention. Don't miss the lovely Lorena who is based in her hut by the quiet pool. She makes delicious crepes and toasties and tubs of ice-cream. She's another beautiful soul. The evening entertainment was a mix of fantastic singers, dancers and other acts. All very professional. The silent disco was my firm favourite yet again. I had such a good time. The Micheal Jackson night was also very good with fantastic singing and dancers. There was a games night with who wants to be a millionaire and a man v ladies quiz drinking game, which my friend took part in. It was just so very funny I'm still laughing now. The first few days we arrived were very cloudy so we walked into Kos town. It was around 3 miles and an easy walk. All flat. You do have to walk along the road in a few places but then it is off the road. It wasn't very busy so wasn't a problem. There is a bus that stops outside the hotel but the walk was nice with things to see along the way. Just turn right out of the hotel and keep walking. I made so many new friends this year who made the stay so much fun. I have never laughed so much as I did during this 10 night stay. Of all the 7 couples we became friends with, every single one said they will be coming right back to this hotel and now understood why we love it so much. Thank you TUI blue oceanis beach.
