TUI BLUE Oceanis Beach Resort & Spa

This was our 7th trip to the Oceanis and as always it did not disappoint. The hotel has had a few updates since last year, I think most of the rooms have been refurbished. It is very well maintained inside and out with nice lawns and flower beds. Every evening the pools and beach are tended to, cleaned up and all the furniture put back in place. It has three Al la carte restaurants as well as the main buffet restaurant. We had a two week stay and were gifted 4 visits to the Al la carte restaurants over our stay. The food in these is extremely well cooked and presented. The main restaurant has a huge selection of food, most evenings are themed, my favourite was the Asian evening with some delicious treats to be had. There are a good selection of starters and salads and lots of deserts. They have an ice cream box and mousse is nearly always one of the options as well as sliced fruits of various kinds if you want to be healthy. You always get offered a drink when you take your seat and if you need another the waiters and waitresses are always on hand. My partner likes to spend the day by the pool and we never had issues getting sun beds in a nice spot. I like to do activities and the are many on offer from yoga to volleyball as well as things such as cocktail mixing classes. Every night has entertainment in the pool bar area or you can relax in one of the areas near the reception. Now....all this is great but the very best bit of this hotel, as many others have said, is the people. They are so friendly and go the distance to make sure people enjoy their stay. They are all marvellous but I am going to name a few who spent time with us. Anita the customer relations manager, who was around every day making sure everything was okay and when it wasn't made sure it got sorted. One day she even had the hotel manager down by the pool with her to resolve an issue, and it was resolved. Mrs Themis who helped with our room allocation. Our waiters Ayman and Tarek and waitresses Joyce and Ernelyne, making sure we had drinks and chatting while cleaning up or serving. Melissa and Maria at the pool bar, taking orders and bringing drinks out. Christos and Lezly in the evenings at the main bar, again checking on us and getting new drinks for us. Manua and Yolanda our fitness instructors, doing the yoga lessons etc, but also getting people into the pool for a bit of fun and exercise in aqua-aerobics. Mr Antonious and George for sorting out our tables for supper and for being such great hosts for our meals. Alex our entertainments manager, such a fun personality. Our cleaner Stella, room was so well presented every day and she even sorted out decaff coffee sachets for us to use in our room and for breakfast. One last member of staff to mention was Maria (think this was her name, she didn't have a name tag) she works on the salad bar, always wears a hat that looks a bit like a turban. Always says hello. One evening I was wandering around looking for the Hummus to have as a starter, she asked what I was looking for and when I said she told me she was about to go bring it out from the kitchens. I said I would wait, but she insisted I go back to my table, asked roughly where we were, and said she would bring it over! Few minutes later she brings a bowl of it over. For me this epitomises the Oceanis, nothing seems too much bother. Whether its your first trip or 7th you get treated like this. Already booked for 2026 and 27. Tim & Sue

We booked this holiday as we needed a complete rest - and we got it! The hotel is wonderful - very clean and had everything we needed, including a gym. The food is excellent here. Very fresh (a lot grown on their own farm), hot and varied. A special mention must be made of the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. Lezlie in particular was lovely and we really didn't need to tell her what we wanted to drink! Other staff we would like to mention are Aphrodite, Maria, Christos, Melissa - in fact, too many to mention and we are sorry if we missed you out! A wonderful and attentive Maitre D' in the main restaurant and I had a lovely relaxing massage in the spa. We particularly enjoyed our lunches in the Meltemi restaurant - sitting in the open with traditional Greek music playing - it was perfect. This was our second visit to this hotel and it certainly won't be our last!

This was our 2nd visit this year (we also came in May) and it just gets better. The hotel is quietly located remotely out of Kos Town but this just adds to it's appeal for us. We had a garden view room which was clean and tidy with the mini bar filled up and a welcome gift of a bottle of wine on arrival. The hotel and grounds are well maintained and everywhere is spotless. We managed to visit all 3 a la carte restaurants this time (two included and the third paid for) The staff, service and food in each of them was of the highest standard and would recommend a visit to all 3. The food in the main restaurant at both breakfast and evening meal is also of the highest standard with a fantastic choice especially at breakfast with both English and Continental being available. They also go out of their way to help and advise those who have food allergies and these can be discussed with head chef George if you ask to speak to him. The main thing about this hotel (and why we keep going back) are the staff. There is nothing that is too much trouble for them and should you have any issues these are easily and quickly sorted out after informing reception. All of the staff from the general manager Stefanos right down to the cleaners are friendly and polite and make you feel at home and treat you like family which we have not experienced in other hotels of this this size we have stayed at. We found going in October (and May) there are no issues with sunbeds or getting drinks at the bar in the evening and that the atmosphere is more relaxed than at the height of the season. The other thing about going in October is the hotel Halloween party!! They go above and beyond anything we have seen before and is a truly amazing experience in the main restaurant area. We look forward to our holidays here because we know we will not be disappointed and that we will have the best of holidays. One important thing to remember is the staff work very long hours and if you treat them with respect you will be respected in return. A wonderful trip. This is a beautiful hotel and resort with lovely friendly staff. The facilities were excellent - a beautiful pool, a delightful beach and an excellent food, both at the buffet and at the a la carte restaurants. We had a fantastic time and would 100% return here in the future. Thank you so much!
