We paid a significant amount through TUI for this holiday and arrived expecting a premium hotel based on the pictures and description. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. In our opinion, the hotel is very basic, tired, overcrowded and nowhere near the standard it is presented as. It’s one of those hotels where people are around the pool at 8am securing a sunbed. The pool areas are extremely cramped, and the sunbeds and umbrellas are old and tired. There are also basic white plastic chairs around the pool, which certainly don’t give the premium feel advertised. The main pool music is ridiculously loud and the entertainment is repetitive. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. Most of it was bland and tasted mass-produced, with the salad bar probably being the best part. The drinks were equally poor, with cheap alternatives instead of branded soft drinks, awful cheap cocktails that gives you heartburn and tiny plastic cups. Even the Greek gyros van was a huge disappointment. It came in a cheap hotdog roll. Our rooms also had multiple problems. We had to change rooms because the first bed was extremely uncomfortable. In the second room, the balcony door wouldn’t lock despite being reported, and the maintenance response was essentially a shrug. We also constantly had ants in the room. Staff repeatedly sprayed them but never investigated where they were coming from, despite us asking. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room. Even the supposedly nicer sea-view restaurant felt overcrowded, with people queuing from around 6:30pm to get in and rushing to secure the better tables. The airport transfer was also excessive — 1 hour 45 minutes with 11 stops, being the last hotel to be dropped off. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and friendly, and the sea view is undoubtedly the best thing about the hotel. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for everything else. Individually, these issues might seem small, but when there are so many of them, they really add up and become extremely irritating. We complained to the hotel during our stay, but nothing was really done. Complained to TUI when we got back and they said nothing we can do but thanks for your feedback. She was reading from a script. Overall, the hotel felt more like an adult Butlins than a premium Greek resort. For the price we paid through TUI, we expected considerably more. If you’re looking for a premium, relaxing holiday, I would honestly look elsewhere. We stayed in an easyJet adult only hotel last year and it was amazing & cheaper. We paid extra to go here with TUI for that extra premium feel. It really wasn’t. easyJet holidays were just so much better, but that’s my own opinion.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Oceanis Hotel as a couple, from the end of August through the first week of September, and overall our experience was excellent. One of the absolute highlights for us was the beach near the volleyball area. It was almost always very quiet and peaceful. The sea was incredibly clear and crystal blue, with lots of fish, making it a fantastic place for snorkeling. We spent a lot of time there and absolutely loved it. We also really enjoyed the activities with Erika, especially Pilates, yoga and the breathing workshops. The sunset yoga sessions and acqua boards were truly special and some of the most memorable experiences of our holiday. Thank you, Erika!!! The sunset yoga expecially felt like being in an episode of The White Lotus! The three restaurants were another highlight. We tried all three and particularly loved the Greek and Italian restaurants. The atmosphere was classy and calm, with plenty of space between the tables, and the food was excellent. In general, the food throughout the hotel was varied, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Breakfast offered lots of choices (exquisite fresh omelets and chia puddings!), and being able to enjoy it with an ocean view was a beautiful way to start the day!!!! Our room was very spacious and cosy, with a large balcony and a lovely view, and we were extremely comfortable throughout our stay. The service was also outstanding: everyone we met was kind, friendly and welcoming. There are just a couple of small things that could perhaps be improved. The space available for the evening entertainment sometimes felt a little limited for the number of guests, and personally, we would have preferred fewer smoking areas, as there were quite a lot of smokers around the resort. The rooms are not soundproof, meaning you can hear people in the hallway, but overall the nights are super quiet and the sleep quality is excellent. We would also highly recommend some of the excursions. The small-group sailing day trip was incredible: the colour and clarity of the water made us feel as though we were in the Caribbean! We also really enjoyed the evening trip to Zia, and hiking up the mountain is absolutely worth it for the stunning views!

A wonderful hotel with many pluses. In particular the entertainment team work really hard to make sure everybody has a great holiday. A special mention to Melissa, Eryn, M and Mazz. They were smiling every minute of the day and very helpful. The shows were outstanding and the food was always tasty. We will definitely be back again soon.
