TUI SUNEO Niriides Beach

I spent a week here on my own in September 25 and had a lovely holiday. I felt very safe being a woman on my own. Check in at 12.30am was very smooth by a nice gentleman. I was given a first floor room in the new annex area overlooking the pool. It was a lovely modern, bright, airy room with a modern bathroom with walk in shower. The balcony got the sun from about 2pm and was a real suntrap. The only negative about the room was that the cockerels started at 2am and crowed all night. Luckily I had ear plugs which helped with the noise. And although there are drinks stations in the main part of the hotel it would have been better to have a kettle in the room. But the hotel did provide a bottle of water in the room on arrival which was a nice touch. The food was tasty and well cooked. Lots of traditional Greek dishes and international dishes too. Pancakes, waffles, eggs and omelettes for breakfast. Freshly grilled meats and fish, stews, pizza, salads and pasta dishes every lunch and dinner time. There was even a English Sunday dinner. Traditional Greek desserts, ice cream and fruit. The pools looked beautiful but too cold to use. Maybe OK in summer. The hotel is located about 45 mins along the coast road to the harbour/old town. Although it's a pleasant walk you have to be very aware of cyclists/e scooters as they go very fast along the paths and don't give any consideration to pedestrians. I felt I constantly had to watch my back until I got to the marina were the path splits into 2. I didn't find the cyclists a problem once in the main town. Kos Town is great to explore with lots of ancient sites to visit and the museum is well worth a visit. Also loads of lovely shops and restaurants. Whilst I was staying there there was a lovely party of people staying with mild learning disabilities. The hotel staff went out of their way to make them feel included and get the most out of their holiday. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my neck and was unable to carry my suitcase down the stairs. The hotel arranged for someone from the restaurant to come and carry it down for me and take it to reception. A lovely touch. The only slight negatives are: there is no usable beach nearby, the one closest to the hotel isn't great; if you need a late check out it costs 80 euros; there is very little in the immediate vicinity.

We first found this gem of a hotel back in June 2025 and we loved it so much that whilst there we decided whilst there to book for another 2 weeks end of Sept 2025. a bit about the wife and I, we have travelled all over Europe and the rest of the world from 2* budget hotels right up to the top 5* hotels and this is the only place that just seems to pull us back time after time and I'll tell you why... the owners & every single other staff person who works in this hotel, you can just tell it's so family orientated like it must have been since the owners started out. Back in June we just found the hotel to be amazing in every aspect, cleanliness, food, entertainment and just the overall chilled out vibe of the place. So onto our next visit in Sept which was again truly brilliant and the fact that both the owners and staff remembered us and greeted us with such a warm embrace and hugs really did make it feel like you are part of an extended family. We have stayed both times in the newer part of the hotel, once with a balcony overlooking the newer pools and once a garden room up by the games rooms, again, both rooms spotless and even when a tad cooler in Sept a quick call down to reception got us extra blankets. it was lovely sitting on the terrace late afternoon grabbing the last few rays of another great day. a big thankyou to the cleaners who work tireleslly to keep the room in this state. Onto the pools, never once a rush for sunbeds always plentiful, there's a couple of great spots for all day sunshine but I'm not giving them away.. you'll soon find em if that's what you want. spotless pool areas and communal toilets. a tad cool but needed more so in June than September for a cooling dip. Food is above my expectation for all inclusive, breakfasts fine everything you need from fresh food to full English, same with lunch and dinner perfect too, we even got a Sunday roast which was brilliant. snacks available at the bar mid/late afternoon mini burger, hot dogs toasties etc nice to have a munch on if missed lunch. the lady who does the snack cooking so happy and helpful too. The grounds are also kept pristine and kudos to the gardeners for keeping everywhere looking so well kept. Now onto what I previously said and the real reason we return is the staff, especially the bar staff who we got to know really well and class as friends now. Donna you are numero uno with your banter and quick wit and you can tell all the staff respect and get on with her so the bar runs like a well oiled machine. soon be time for the wind ups and banter to start again eh Donna. George & George top top men, the banter between Anastacia and Barbara top class and in September we even had the pleasure of meeting Maria for a week again so friendly and smiley. and for the actual owners to remember us and greet us with hugs when they seen we was back really was a special moment, even took time out of their day to meet people and the same of an evening, even coming to see if I had enjoyed one of the shows as we had a bit of a laugh asking whether it would be any good or not, Smargda ( I do hope I've spelt that correct.) came over personally to ask if we did enjoy the show (it was great as I thought it actually would be) so yeah any negative reviews personally I cannot see why and that's why we've booked 2 2 week holiday for this year too! see you very soon our now extended family.

We had the best family holiday this year and the hotel certainly made our time away special. From the warm welcome on arrival at reception from both the receptionist and night porter to organising our rooms and ensuring we made the bar before it closed. Waking up the next morning going for breakfast and being welcomed by George and the lovely staff made sure our holiday started right. The dining room is at front of the hotel and it is lovely sitting there in the morning having breakfast and watching the world go by from the table. The hotel is probably one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. They constantly clean and mop the communal areas and rooms are cleaned perfectly with linen and towels changed regularly. Cleaning is completed on 5 days out of 7 which is perfectly adequate. Our room was in the older building but perfectly modern inside and accessed from either a lift or stairs as we were on the second floor. We had the best view and we loved sitting out on the balcony and watching the boats in the early mornings and afternoons. It was truly a relaxing experience. We loved our room. In our opinion the food was excellent. There was always plenty of choice, it was always fresh and warm and we always found something we really enjoyed each meal time. Loved the fact that had a sandwich maker so we could make warm sandwiches at lunch and the salads and accompaniments were just lovely each day. My boys also enjoyed the food at the pool bar in the afternoons as they are quite partial to a toasted sandwich. My husband loved the ice creams served at the bar and he also loved a bowl of ice cream for desert at lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The drinks were grand - the availability of soft drinks and tea / coffee etc 24 hours a day is an excellent idea and the station for this is easy accessible and the drinks from these we thought we of a high quality. The drinks from the bar were always lovely and the staff would make you what ever you wanted. The iced coffees with ice cream were a lovely treat. The beer and wine which i drank were lovely and we enjoyed nothing more than relaxing at the pool bar sipping a cold drink and reading in the afternoons. The hotel pools are lovely and there is never any problem getting a sun bed or people putting towels out from early on. I took our towels out going down for breakfast around 9an and always got 8 beds together. Now what made this hotel extra special was the staff employed by this hotel. From arrival to us leaving we couldn't have asked for a better bunch of individuals. They truly go out of their way to help have fun and generally just chat and make you feel welcome. The hotels owner and son were so welcoming and the family run a beautiful hotel . George in the bar / restaurant was the best he kept us a table in the evening so us as a party of 8 could all, eat together and was a lovely gesture. But Donna, Barbara Anastasia George and all the others at the pool bar were just exceptional and truly work hard and look after their guests. The reception staff were always helpful and knowledgeable, the night porter was the loveliest man and we loved late night chats and his advice, but he made us feel safe and secure, It was good to know that Donna was a first aider and helped many guests when we were there with bandaging and cleaning wounds. The cleaners and housekeeping staff were all lovely. and the staff in restaurant were lovely especially the two women on breakfast who made the most delicious treats. Overall we had a fab holiday and will be back in September next year and hope and pray we get room 222 to relax and enjoy this wonderful hotel again as it is truly much much more than a 3* in our eyes the hospitality is more than a 5* and we had probably the best relaxing holiday ever and cant wait to return.

Very nice resort excellent room and good quality towels and linens. Staff are nice and helpful. However it is badly let down by the food and drinks on offer. We stayed here before and it was much better that time. The food was basic and very little choice. Processed cheese very little fruit and mains were cheapest meats and basic. Self service you had to set the table yourself, no glasses, all drinks served in odd plastic very small tumblers. Wine from a machine. Cats roam the restaurant and climb up on chairs. I wouldn’t stay here again.

What can I say........ our 4th consecutive year here at this beautiful family run hotel. When you enter the hotel you feel the hotel hug you like returning family and that is the ethos of this hotel, family, and boy do you feel it. The rooms are lovely, yes need some attention in places but nothing that will put you off. They are clean with a balcony either overlooking the Aegean sea or one of the 5 pools. Food is provided 3 times a day. As a chef myself I can say the food is outstanding and cooked to perfection, if it was a restaurant it would have a Michelin star. The food is local and dishes are of authentic Greek with plenty of the British food ie burgers, pizza and fries, just not everyday. My wife and me are gluten free and have never once struggled to find something delicious to eat. The staff are wonderful and friendly and treat you like family. Which is why we have been back 4 times and now call them family. This hotel is only a 3 star but it delivers a 4 star and higher service all round. I cant help but say, if you want a party then this is not the place for you, if you want a drink till you are drunk sort of holiday then look up for 18-30s holidays, this is a family orientated hotel, which is quite with the expectation of laughter and joy. You cant help but fall whole heartedly in love with this place, its staff and the stunning island. Kos town is a 5 min bus ride for €1.50 or a 20min walk in along the shores of the Aegean with plenty of coffee stops along the way. Renting a car from the hotel is so easy and highly recommended so you can go further a field and explore this absolute hidden gem in the Aegean sea. For those who have slammed this hotel, I must say you have been overly picky, and harsh, its a 3 star, if you wanted waited tables and better cocktails, pay the extra and stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel. As for the review of being told by Tui that you maybe thrown out, i was here for most of your stay, you were noisy, rude, selfish and utterly disgusting to the staff and other guest who had the right to inform the staff of your antisocial behaviour. You were drunk from the time you got up to the time the bar closed, the fact you were on several occasions refussed to be served due to your behaviour, so take some damm responsibility. Go to a party island there are many. Sorry but it annoys me, this is people's jobs and work place, the staff work long hard hours for 6 months, sometimes not seeing they own family, to try and make your stay here a joy. Rant over......apologies What are you waiting for come and experience family like you have never experienced before.
