Aiora Aqua Resort

We had a week’s holiday at this hotel (2 adults). There are lots of good things about this hotel but we do not think it deserves a 4 star rating. There were lots of features that were lacking or missing. Food was lovely, lots of choice, fresh salads, meats, dips and pizzas in the snack bar. Some traditional Greek foods but also sushi some nights etc. A nice little kids section with nuggets and chips. We can’t fault the food at all! Sometimes we found there was no inside seating so had to sit on the terrace where there are no fans so it was very hot! The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, modern and clean (104) but lacking some important features. It was on the small side but our balcony was huge! No long mirror, no bedside lamps for reading and only 1 bedside table. There was not enough room in the bathroom or shower for toiletries either. There was a kettle in the room with tea and coffee but this was never restocked so we had to buy our own teabags, coffee and milk. As this is all inclusive, this should definitely be included. Also there was no bottled water given (originally 2 small bottles on arrival but had to pay extra after that). You can get water in cups from the bar but bottles should be available as part of an all inclusive. Pool area was hectic! The pool is far too small for the hotel unless you went to the splash park but that is also chaos. There’s water polo games on throughout the day which means that half of the pool is taken up by grown men throwing a ball and thrashing around. Very difficult to get a sunbed unless you get up at 7am. Music is very loud and unbearable so we opted for the beach walk (10 min) as this was much quieter and relaxing (lots of sunbeds). You will not find any peace by the pool whatsoever but the beach is lovely (very pebbly so you may need beach shoes but we went in our sliders). The only evening bar was the pool bar which would often have a queue, no indoor bar and lacking an indoor seating areas for drinks. Tiki bar is not in use and staff didn’t know why it wasn’t open. This would’ve been a nice place to sit in the evenings as there wasn’t much going on - we decided to visit Lardos or Pefkos in the evenings instead. Greek night entertainment was good but that’s about it. The same music plays every evening over and over (Barbie girl, crazy frog etc) which sent us slightly mad. The first day we arrived we asked for an iron and were told another room has it (which was fine)! We didn’t mind waiting. Went back the next day, still no iron. 5 days later we were told the iron would be available from 7:30pm, by that point we only had 2 days of our holiday left so there was absolutely no point. Bring your own travel iron if coming here!! Overall, some pros but also some cons. If you want a relaxing holiday, do not book this hotel. If you have children and don’t mind some chaos then you might enjoy it!

Well, what can I say? After visiting in August we came back in October and had such a beautiful welcome thanks to Mika and Maria ❤️ arrived at our room and there was chocolates, champagne a very cute note and opened the curtains to see we had been upgraded to a swim up room ❤️ It’s the end of their season so it was very quiet which made it a very relaxed week. Instead of the full on summer fun, it was a different kind of fun, relaxing drinking coffee and talking to friends. Service in every department of the hotel was again very very good, everyone is super friendly and very kind with big hearts ❤️ we feel like we have gained a big Greek/ Albanian family ❤️ I want to thank every single member of staff, and I wish them all well with what they do this winter season and we will be back for season opening ❤️ Love and and miss you all ❤️

I stayed at Aiora Aqua Resort, and honestly, I had such a great time! 🌴✨ The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, with rooms cleaned every single day – fresh towels, everything spotless, just the way I like it. The reception staff were super professional, always friendly and helpful, and everything was handled smoothly from check-in to check-out. The animation team absolutely deserves a shoutout – they really know how to bring the fun! 🔥 Thanks to them, there’s never a dull moment, even if you just planned to chill by the pool with a drink. Speaking of drinks – the bartender Daniela is amazing! Always cheerful, positive, and she makes perfect cocktails🍹 The food was another big plus – lots of variety, always fresh and tasty, with something new every day. The only small issue I had was with a massage reservation – I booked and paid for two people, but when I arrived, it turned out the booking was only for one. Luckily, the staff handled it quickly and refunded the money right away, so all good in the end. 👍 Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! 💙 Perfect for relaxing, enjoying the sun, and soaking up good vibes

On arrival and throughout the holiday reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Answering all questions. Room was clean and a nice touch was water and sandwiches in the fridge as arrived early hours. Slippers and robe on the bed. However be careful as slippers are dangerous when walking on wet tiles, very slippy. We had a junior room with jacuzzi this was lovely on a balcony, private and peaceful. Restaurant- Food was lovely, plenty of options daily for all meals. Snack bar did pizza, pasta which was nice this is moved to main bar on days of bad weather. Staff in the main restaurant were great with young children and helpful always clearing away and replenishing the food to ensure it was fully stocked. Flames restaurant was ok. Enjoyed starters, burgers were ok. Staff were friendly. Pools, the main pool was sometimes busy however always beds available each day in both pools. Pool with slides only did limited drinks and no food or snacks. This would be better if snacks and ice cream available also. Traveling to Lindos, Rhodes, pefkos and Faliraki from Aiora was not to bad as got to see the island, buses were regular and always on time to the minute but don’t wait around. Few shops along from hotel and car rental place for those who don’t want to use public transport. Downside was drinks that are available are very limited and in the main bar next to the gym these were very watered down not a lot of flavour. I would also like more variety of sauces for breakfast and dinner such as tomatoes ketchup and brown sauce.

We as a large family have been coming to this hotel for ten years and always enjoyed our stays… this year it was surpassed, fantastic newly refurbished in all areas. We had issues not with the hotel prior to arrival but moreso with our travel agent booking the incorrect rooms, however the fantastic reservation manager sorted this for us, next time I will be booking direct with the hotel. Rooms: Had 4 swim ups - the room was immaculate and was keep very clean throughout our stay thanks to the excellent cleaning team headed by the lovely housekeeper, very modern room, walk in shower etc, the outside area was more than enough space for each room and was also clean, pool maintenance every evening so you felt safe swimming in the crystal clear water. Outside areas: Immaculate lawns, walkways etc never seen any rubbish, the pathways were always clean must have taken the team some time each day to ensure this and was appreciated. The new sitting areas were really modern with comfortable seating. Pools: Main pool very clean, with plenty of sun loungers in all different styles, pool bar serving drinks also clean and very well run. Splash park, great for a bit of family fun with the water slides, again very clean and the bar serving drinks til 6pm. Restaurant: This has been refurbished and is kept really clean which is a difficult task with the amount of guests, waiting staff very attentive and food replenished regularly, having stayed at this hotel previously you can tell the difference in the quality of the food, always something for everyone, the soups for me was a main highlight, always different and you could tell they were cooked with fresh ingredients and not powder, We never tried the two on site al a cartes as felt that the food in the main restaurant was more than sufficient and tasty. Snack bar was also a bonus if you missed lunch as could get a nice piece of fresh pizza. A few mentions: the lovely receptionist Christina always on hand if anything needed sorting however we had no complains at all throughout our stay, the animation team and their quizzes, the added bonus of a few entertainers, the bingo night!! Omar who runs the shop most days, he is one of the original staff and always makes our holiday. The lovely lady on the evening bar, sorry forgot her name but always smiling and dancing, truly happy in her work and makes a nice sunset punch. All in all this has been an amazing stay and cannot wait to return, thanks to all the team at the aiora for making sure our holiday went well.
