Atlantica Dreams Resort

Where do we begin, we arrived end of April for 14night stay. We pre booked private transfer from the Airport to Atlantica Dreams Gennadi as heard it can take over 2hrs on the coach. Glad we did it only cost £57 and took 1hr. Hotel lovely and spacious. We had booked a Seaview with swim up room. Sadly our swim up only had sun til 10am so we never got the use of it after paying thousands for our holiday. Rooms spacious, quite clean in places. Was strange seeing my Partner in bed while brushing my teeth, not much privacy. We was woken every morning from the sun coming through the bathroom window. (Could do with black out vinyl or a blind). Our first week we lovely and quiet, walked into Gennadi one morning came back and went to the adult only pool and got a sunbed easily, same when we walked to the mini lighthouse or wondered aroundthe complex. No queues either at any of the bars. Then our second week it was like half of UK had arrived, never seen anything like it. People reserving beds from 7am and noticing alot of them did not get used til 3pm which we found extremely annoying. As we ended up several times sitting on a chair in bar area. Hotel reception not interested when we mentioned. Bearing in mind you are not allowed to get into any of the pools til 10am! The Queues for the bars was ridiculous, felt so sorry for the staff. Seemed only 1 was allowed to serve behind the Bondi Bar whom was also doing drinks ordered from Gerry beach waiter and the other lovely man who done the adult pool waitering. They need more staff! The main restaurant buffet style we was greeted by Christina, oh my goodness, she is such an assest to Atlantica, such a nice lovely human. Loads of food choice, breakfast & dinner (we never ate lunchtimes) our 2nd week they opened upstairs for breakfast for adults only. Thank goodness they did as it was carnage downstairs with free range children running around. We was greeted by Maria another asset to Atlantica aswell as all the other staff who worked with her upstairs. Took us to our seat, along comes fresh orange juice, cold water and coffee to order. The fresh food was out this world and the peace and quiet was heaven first thing in the morning. Trying to book the a la cartes was difficult unless you do not mind eating at 9pm (which we do not) Managed to eat at 2 Buses run regularly which was handy as we found TUI not helpful when we had to cancel our day rhodes trip and asked to change it to the next day for evening (same price) to be told no but can change it for the following week (when we was going home) Overall Atlantica Dreams Sensatori Gennadi we loved, and would like to return when the sunbed situation has no reserving and we get a swim up room with the Sun on from afternoon til evening 😊

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Atlantica Dreams resort, the hotel is clean, rooms are modern, check in staff were super helpful and the food is great! The choice of Al a carte restaurants at the hotel is excellent, with the Kuzina bar being a highlight for their evening food and amazing lunchtime selection The only things knocking this from a 5* to a 4* in our opinion was the heating in the room, this appeared set so we ended up with the door open most days, but the attached mosquito net on the room proved very valuable! The other issue was with the drinks pool service, we holidayed during term time, and it was clear that the hotel was not swarmed with guests however even then the pool staff were overwhelmed at the adults only pool. The drinks service was slow and often only one of us would be offered a drink at a time. More staff would have made the difference for us. We have holidayed previously at other Sensatori hotels and the highlight for our trips is always the entertainment team. The effort that goes into the shows and evening entertainment is always clear. Martina, Levi and the team at Atlantic’s Dreams this year were so chatty and friendly, and their talent shines through!

Had a relaxing break with the highlight being the entertainment programme. We continue to choose these hotels as we enjoy the daily entertainment with the team being very talented and also very approachable. For me and my partner this is perfect as it is an easy decision to stay in the hotel in the evenings and make the most of the all inclusive. We will continue to try out the Sensatori hotels and this one is also great with only a minor issue with the room aircon appearing to be a set temperature. Food was also good plenty of options so never had any issues.
