Atlantica Holiday Village Rhodes

Check in. We arrived around 3.30pm to the activity reception and was told we had to go to the relax reception instead, the lady was really friendly so no problem. A guy took us in a golf cart with our cases and we got checked in. We had to wait half hr to then get taken back to the activity area to our room. By the time we'd arrived at our room and checked the restaurant timings everything had just closed. We rang 0 to ask if there was any room service which they dont offer so we had to walk back over to the relax area to the food truck. Rooms. Our room was a double activity swim up, nice and spacious, looked clean enough although the patio area was not clean, someone's popped lilo stuck in the bush which remained until 2 days before we flew home! After being there a day we realised how filthy the floors were in the room and bathroom. The bathroom wasn't clean either and the floors mopped ( very poorly ) twice whilst we stayed. Sheets again changed only twice and towels disappeared without being replaced. Pools. Activity pool was lively enough with lots of involvement if you wanted. Bit gritty on the bottom so pool shoes advised. We had like a jacuzzi seat at the end of our patio which was nice. Food. In our opinion the food options weren't amazing, although labels were supposedly showing allergens I think they were often mixed up and a vegetarian option had bacon bits in. If you are strict vegetarian I would avoid as the servers are not really mindful of cross contamination. Breakfast was good with the normal choices of cooked breakfast, eggs, fresh fruits and pastries. My husband enjoyed the coffee bar and the servers were lovely. Lunch you could choose either the buffet or snack bar options. Very samey. Dinner the same in the buffet to be honest. The drinks are self service and the waiters work tirelessly to clean everything down with a smile. The majority of the staff are really great, always happy to help and would go out of their way to find solutions for anyone. The Italian a la carte was lovely, we didn't really get a choice of what starter we wanted we were just sent everything lol it was great but we were stuffed by the time our main course came! Waterpark. The waterpark quickly filled up and we were struggling to find a seat at 1030. Again it wasn't really as clean as it could have been but I suspect this is more down to guests leaving their rubbish everywhere. Entertainment. The staff seem to really enjoy what they do which is great, the kids looked like they had a great time too. Shop. The shop onsite is very reasonable and we ended up getting a few bits from their quite regularly, mainly milk for the little one. Outside. The shops outside were roughly the same price but the staff seemed rather grumpy by us spending our money there. Very peculiar. Onside pub. Onside pub was nice, only ventured in to watch the footy but great staff and happy to serve. Would we stay here again? Probably not, based on the cleanliness and food options. The staff however are great and do make a real effort.

I had an excellent experience. My therapist Vicky was excellent. Fantastic facial and deep tissue massage. I would highly recommend Vicky!

Lazaros is the best iced coffee man on the planet really looked after us at breakfast with two iced lattes to start our day a very enjoyable experience and highly recommended. The whole experience at the holiday village was epic
