We went on our first proper ‘family’ holiday in October - our little girl who was just under 2 at the time absolutely loved it! We had been abroad before with her but to villas so we wanted to experience a lovely hotel with her and we were not disappointed! Yes, we had some rubbish weather (we were there the week they had massive storms and school closures) and yes the pools were rather chilly however the positives absolutely outweighed this! The management team and chefs went above and beyond to cater for both my husband and daughter with their different dietary needs due to allergies and medical conditions. Meals were adapted and changed as needed providing that notice was given before. The labelling of the foods includes all the top allergens and if ever in doubt a member of staff was always more than happy to help. We often thought we would be pestering them but in all honesty they couldn’t be happier to help! We had one slip up with food from the food truck where my daughter reacted so if you’re super sensitive with allergies like her it may be worth avoiding there. The food in the deluxe area was lovely and being able to have al a carte every night is certainly the type of holiday we were after! My daughter attended the crèche a couple of mornings we were there and she LOVED it! The team went above and beyond to ensure that her needs were adapted to (makaton due to speech delay) and even sent us a video of her makaton signing more for bubbles which was lovely. At the end of the week we got sent home with some beautiful keep sakes from her time at the crèche. She also loved the earlier evening entertainment and definitely loves a good boogie! We stayed in a swim up with jacuzzi in the deluxe area - the room was cleaned every day and appeared to be good and clean. We did have an issue on the first day with ants however once treated (very promptly I must add) we never saw another ant again. I can only assume my daughter dropped a bit of food on the floor when we arrived as the ants never returned. We found the jacuzzi lovely and warm on those chilly days and the temperature could be controlled to what we wanted which was a great bonus for us. We have already booked to return a month earlier for this year to try and get better weather and enjoy the pools more! We cannot wait to return and hope to see some familiar, friendly and helpful faces when we do!

This is absolutely not a five‑star hotel or complex. I would rate it a three‑star at best. The entire place looks nothing like the photos. It was dirty, the staff were rude, and the buffet was extremely poor. My friend and I took our two boys (both 11), and none of us enjoyed or rated this place at all. Buffet • Breakfast: Very poor choice, and the fruit was old and rotten. • Lunch: Basic and uninspiring. • Dinner: Tasteless food, mostly the same options every night, not much variety, not served hot, and definitely not fresh. Rooms For the price of a supposed five‑star hotel, you expect daily cleaning. Instead, nobody entered our room for days. We had to get the manager involved. When housekeeping finally came, they quickly made the bed and mopped the floor. The sheets were never changed. One of the beds was broken, and there was dirt and dust everywhere. Toiletries Despite advertising shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, none were provided. Luckily, I had packed my own. Pool We visited in May and the pool was freezing. The kids wouldn’t go in. It was also extremely windy—chairs were blowing into the pool at one point, and the kids had to pull them out because no staff were around. Entertainment Pretty much non‑existent unless you enjoy pool aerobics. Photo Staff The staff selling photos were pushy and rude. They stand right where you enter for breakfast, so you can’t avoid them. The whole photo setup felt like a scam. Coffee Awful. I ended up walking to a bar down the road every morning just to get a decent latte. Kids Club Rubbish. The boys went once and begged not to go back because it was so babyish. The slide area was good, although we did see a couple of children get hurt—so keep an eye on your child. The football club costs extra. Check‑In We arrived in the early hours of the morning, and the receptionist seemed more interested in collecting the resort tax (around 150 euros), something we were never made aware of beforehand. We also was very hungry but there was only some very hard spaghetti available. Activities The ping‑pong table didn’t have any balls. We ended up buying a pack of cards just to keep ourselves entertained. The Irish bar is poor, you expect some sort of entertainment. Onsite Shop Do NOT buy from the onsite shop. It is ridiculously overpriced. There are two shops less than a minute’s walk away with far cheaper prices. The woman in the onsite shop was incredibly rude and told the boys to move away when they were simply looking at the toys (they weren’t touching anything). Spa Do NOT sign up for the spa. We paid nearly 300 euros and were promised a massage and facial. Instead, we got a 30‑minute massage—nothing like what was advertised. Bar The bar doesn’t sell cider and had no Baileys, Tia Maria, or Disaronno. It’s mostly cheap‑tasting cocktails—think sickly piña coladas. Ice Cream Hut The kids enjoyed it, although on several days there were no sprinkles or sauce available. I strongly would not recommend if you are looking for somewhere fun, clean and 4 or 5 star. We were so dissapointed, as were the other families we spoke to. Nobody could understand how they are able to get away with what is advertised against what you get.
