If it wasn’t for Katrina (operations manager extraordinaire) our holiday would have been very different. First impressions We were greeted on arrival by a team of rather underwhelming receptionists and steered towards a waiting area, where we waited just a little too long for our check in paperwork, whilst enjoying a glass of lovely iced tea. The reception area was well air conditioned and comfortable. We asked whether our prior request to have rooms close to our travelling companions had been granted (we asked a week before travelling and hadn’t received an answer), on asking three members of staff no one seemed to know but all of them said they would check. We received our room numbers. One started with an 8 and one with a 2 so we made an assumption we might be a great distance apart and expressed our disappointment that no one had considered our request. Not one of the receptionists explained that despite the different numbers we were in fact relatively close. Had we been shown a map of the room numbers we would have absolutely been reassured. We were told they could move one of us once a room was found. We agreed to this. As we were only visiting for 5 days we felt this was less than ideal. We went to our rooms feeling rather unimpressed with the attitude of the reception staff. On arriving in our room, a suite with a pool, it was well presented. The air con took a bit of fiddling with but we did get there. Our friends had a further negative experience with their own room and this resulted in their request to change rooms. Enter Katarina. This amazing operations manager made it her absolute mission to right any problems we encountered during our stay. That and so much more. She brightened up the whole stay often popping by with a broad smile to check we were ok. She really was the most professional and friendly person and nothing was too much trouble for her. We told her about our experience checking in and she listened, she didn’t just make corporate excuses or try to justify things. She did explain that The hotel has gone under new management in the last six weeks. That explained things a little. We fully understand there will be teething problems in this scenario, we were happy to feed back further thoughts to Katarina throughout our stay and she was happy to receive the (well intended) constructive feedback. We saw visible changes as soon as we told Katarina of any problems. Feedback Amazing- Katarina. Good: the bar staff and restaurant staff - a million times more engaging than the reception staff (even though working ridiculously long hours)- the lovely red head lady in the Italian restaurant (we failed to get a few names which we regret) Alfin Anastasis Marcella The chap on the bar in the evenings (he was so exhausted late at night but still managed a smile and a laugh with us The bar people at the pool bar The entire meze serving staff The à la carte restaurants in general The grounds were beautiful The sea was lovely for swimming I hesitate to highlight the next less positive points because for the most part Katarina rectified ANY problems for us as soon as they cropped up, we didn’t report everything (sorry Katarina) but this is for info. Room for improvement : You can get a beer round the pool before a towel or bottle of water. First towels arrive at 10.30-11.00am. Weeds around the pool, gone by the next morning as soon as we told Katarina Showers and grout could use a little bit of a thorough clean and re do. Lack of enough staff in breakfast area/ bar areas, impacting cleaning up and queues for the bar One toilet for each gender around the pool area is simply not enough. Not enough sun beds, but space potentially for more, there is no option not to do the early towels down thing or you never get one. The sun beds would benefit from a clean or new covers. The rugs around the resort could do with something to secure them so they are not a trip hazard or simply removed. Breakfast was good but would benefit from a bit of changing up for variety. The boiled eggs were a bit of a lucky dip in terms of hard boiled/ soft boiled. All things aside we actually had a really lovely stay, and even the receptionists seemed more engaging by the time we checked out. We felt heard. I do hope Katarina, that your amazing can do ethic and love for what you do spreads into the very being of this hotel and all the staff. You deserve to completely succeed with this. you are lovely. Thank you Sam B
We stayed at the Aulus Lindos by Hilton as a family in May 2026, and it was a wonderful holiday experience. Our daughter especially loved the Mini Club. She was looked after with so much care and kindness, and it was wonderful to see how warmly the team treated the children. Everyone was very friendly and genuinely made an effort to ensure that guests felt welcome and enjoyed their stay. One person who deserves a special mention is Operations Manager Katerina. She has a remarkable way of making guests feel seen and valued. She takes care of every request, no matter how small, and always tries to find the best possible solution. You can tell that hospitality is not just her job – it is truly her passion and calling. Her dedication and personal commitment make a real difference to the overall guest experience. We particularly enjoyed the pools. The separate areas for children and adults were very well designed, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the holiday in their own way. The hotel also has direct access to a beautiful beach with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, which made beach days very comfortable. The all-inclusive concept was another highlight for us. We especially liked the variety of soft drinks available and the snack bar, which was perfect for a quick bite during the day. When we arrived, the hotel had only been reopened for about three weeks, and there were still some improvements, optimizations, and renovation works taking place. However, the entire team was very committed and worked hard to make everything as pleasant as possible for the guests. We really appreciated their dedication and positive attitude. The food was delicious overall, with a good selection, and we were also very satisfied with our room. Everything was clean and comfortable, and it provided everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation for us. We enjoyed our time at the Aulus Lindos by Hilton very much and are sure that we will come back again soon. Thank you to Katerina and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable!
Absolutely these best customer service we have experienced! Massive shout out to Thàlia and the staff for being so fantastic and always going above and beyond! Food was fantastic, hotel grounds were immaculate, lively and stunning as was the activities like yoga! Highly recommend and we will be back!
Our time at The Aulūs Lindos was quite short, as we arrived in the afternoon and had to depart in the middle of the night for an early flight, but the resort made a lasting impression. The level of care and nice treatment we received as Hilton elite members was excellent. The setting of the hotel is absolutely lovely, and our room was very nice and well-appointed. What stood out most, however, was the welcoming atmosphere. We received a very warm personal greeting upon arrival from the new manager, Michelle, and fantastic hospitality from Siri. Matt and Christina (Front Office Manager) were also incredibly helpful during our brief time on property, and Thaleia, the Guest Experience Manager, provided wonderful assistance. Knowing that the resort is under a new ownership and management team, it is easy to see that they are steering this property in an excellent direction. We expect great things to happen here and look forward to returning for a much longer stay next time!
This hotel is perfect for a family looking to have a nice time together in a more quiet setting. The staff and guest services are so great. I was in contact with Thaleia prior to arrival to organise a birthday surprise for the room. When we arrived, there was flowers, balloons, cake and a bottle of bubbly. This started off the experience the same way it ended, perfectly. Some say the food options are minimal. I disagree. For the size of hotel, the food and options are more than ample, and healthy! Other things mentioned. The pool looks tired. There are markings but that is because the pool is coated in a dark layer which results in a beautifully temperate pool. To fix that would result in emptying the entire pool. I personally was over the moon this coating was there regardless of some markings. I do agree there are not many loungers but we found places to sit and if you really want one, get there for 7 and you can have one. Bigger hotels I had to get up at 5 so there’s another win in my opinion. The hotel is very clean. We had the Zen suite with pool. People said the private pools are dirty. I just found sand in it, no issue at all and hard to remove. The only other thing I found was the gym was too light weight for me. Some heavier weights would be appreciated. I really rate this place if you want to relax and feel looked after by incredible staff. Shout out to the pool bar staff for always having my Paloma ready for me
