Avra Beach

We had a very enjoyable stay at Avra Beach Hotel & Bungalows Resort. Our room was clean, well maintained, and spacious enough for a family of four. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was particularly welcome during the warm Rhodes days. The only minor issue worth mentioning concerns our recently renovated room. The bathroom window had no curtain or other covering, and because the bathroom door was made of frosted glass, early-morning light illuminated the whole room. We noticed this after the first night and used a dark towel provided in the room as a makeshift curtain. This made a significant difference, and we slept very well for the rest of the holiday. The food was excellent: tasty, plentiful, and varied. There was a wide selection available, with different dishes and themes on different days, which kept meals interesting throughout the stay. We especially appreciated the option of having lunch at the smaller beachfront restaurant, where you could enjoy excellent Greek gyros. The all-inclusive drinks menu was also extensive. Naturally, the included cocktails were simpler versions of the original recipes, but they were still enjoyable. A special 5/5 goes to the bar staff for their iced coffee: adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream from the beach bar, as recommended by the staff, made it an incredible refreshment on a hot summer day. We also liked the beach bar’s snack counter, which served good toasties, hot dogs, and sweet snacks throughout the day until 9 p.m. The pool area is not particularly large or varied. It mainly consists of one pool with a small bridge across it, plus a shallow 30-cm pool for very small children. There are relatively few sunbeds around the pool, and they were usually already taken by late morning. Most of the sunbeds are on the beach, where there were plenty available. However, if you would like a sunbed close to the pool bar or restaurants, or want easy access between the pool and the beach with children, be prepared to reserve one early in the morning, before breakfast. Although reserving sunbeds is officially prohibited, this did not appear to be monitored, and guests commonly left towels on their beds early in the morning and kept them for the entire day. What truly made the holiday special, however, was the fantastic entertainment team. Their contribution to the atmosphere, enjoyment, and overall success of the stay cannot be overstated. The evening shows were great, and there were plenty of activities and friendly competitions throughout the day, from football and water polo to darts. These were a very welcome part of the experience and gave the days a pleasant rhythm. The entire staff—from the bars and reception to the entertainment team and everyone else we met—were cheerful, friendly, and helpful. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly recommend Avra Beach Hotel & Bungalows Resort.

Just back from a fantastic week at Avra Beach Resort, and we were all thoroughly impressed. In my opinion, this is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in on a family holiday. The attention to cleanliness was exceptional throughout the resort. The staff maintained incredibly high standards, not only in the rooms but also around the pool, restaurants, lobby, beach bars, and sunbathing areas. Everything was spotless. The pool could perhaps have been a little larger, but with the resort situated right on the beach, it's easy to understand why the space is used as it is. The food was very good for an all-inclusive resort, with plenty of choice and enjoyable themed evenings. The pool restaurant was ideal for relaxed lunches during the day, while the two beach bars were perfect for snacks and drinks without having to leave the beachfront. Every member of staff was professional, friendly, and courteous—from the reception team to the housekeeping, maintenance, and grounds staff. We were greeted with a cheerful "Kaliméra" wherever we went, which really added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent, with Rhodes Town just a €16 taxi ride away (or even cheaper if you take the local bus), making it easy to explore the island. There is also the added bonus of the spectacular sunset over the sea & Turkey’s mountains every evening that can be enjoyed from the hotel beach. Our room was well equipped, with plenty of storage space, a modern walk-in shower, and convenient power sockets, including both USB and USB-C charging points beside each bed. Overall, I would highly recommend Avra Beach Resort to anyone looking for a high-quality all-inclusive holiday. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

What an amazing holiday at this amazing hotel . From the moment we stepped into property to the moment we left we were blown away but the staff facilities and the whole experience. First girls holiday with my adult daughter and we ha d a blast . Always a sunbed, always great food from 6.30am to 12pm . Excellent cocktails and quiet spots to read or join in the fun all an option. Trips were arranged by Mary in reception and she really goes above and beyond for everyone. Thank you we will be back x

One of the best resort in ixia Rhodes this is it’s a 3 year to this place same the place and is definitely I’m gonna go again is amazing nice and clean restaurant or swimming pool The kids club the food is 10/10 mr Spartalis Kostas always there to check everyone is happy with the food and the place where to see at the restaurant big love to my boy Elton Marku the waitress who served us every single day nice and smiley face very will definitely see you guys next year
