Avra Beach

My wife and I spent a week at Avra Beach in April. What can I say, the place is amazing from the rooms to the food everything was just perfect. A special shout out to all the staff especially the bar staff day or night they were fantastic. The only negative thing I would say is that there is minimal toilets facilities for the amount of people staying. However we will be back to visit

Very clean rooms, great food everyday something different, great activities throughout the day, snack bar great too and the beach has many available sun-beds, amazing drinks and great service in buffet restaurant, and now I am saving the best till last which is the animation team, Sam is a great leader of the animation team. The girls are great with kids and doing face painting every night. Tibi and Bogdan are the best 11/10, they know how to make the “crowd go wild”, great dance moves, great talk and loved their approach to kids, my baby Tymon who is quite shy to strangers felt very confident and absolutely loved them. Just had a 10 day stay and it was fantastic. We had a refurbished room with a side sea view. Room was very good and the bed was comfortable. It was kept spotlessly clean by the staff. Big shout out to the animation team, Sam, Tibi, Bogdan and Lia. They kept everyone entertained day and night.All the live acts were good. Food was of a high standard with a different theme every night. Loved eating at the beach restaurant for lunch every day with stunning sea views. All the staff, reception, restaurants and bars were very attentive and couldn't be more helpful. Bus stop outside, buy your ticket in the mini market or pay by card on the bus. There is also a shuttle bus service from the hotel, we used both to go into Rhodes old town. The beach is a shingle beach so definitely take water shoes. There were plenty of sunbeds available. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will return in the future.

Wow! We have been home for less than 24hrs and already missing this place! A gorgeous hotel in a brilliant location right on the beach with the most amazing views. The food was brilliant. So many options, even for picky eaters, and the snack bars were great too - we ended up having lunch from them rather than going into the main restaurant. The pool is brilliant, cold but great fun and the lifeguard works so hard. Always focussed on safety and cleanliness and deserves a 'well done! The bar and waiters/waitresses were great, attentive and service was always really fast. Now onto the animation team...wow! So much energy!! Our kids loved the disco every night and the hotel song so much and the team gave them so much attention throughout the day and evening. Tibi- what a character! He was always happy, chatty and approachable- we really appreciate how much effort he made particularly with our youngest! Highlight of our trip for sure. The only small negative - the room (standard family room) was quite dated and there were a few minor issues - the shower kept falling off the holder when you turned off the water, back door was stiff to unlock and a couple other small things but I havent changed the review from 5* as it really didnt matter too much to us. There are plenty of other room options which looked more modern but it wasnt worth the upgrade cost to us. Also an iron would have been useful rather than having to use the cleaning cupboard! Again, not a major issue but something to feed back! Thank you all - hopefully we can come back soon! Ami, Ben, Ruby and James.

Amazing Service. The Food and the Drinks at the two Bars was good and Most of the Drinks are inklusive. My Friends and I had a Family room that was not the newest but still big and clean. Thanks for the time
