Avra Beach

This is the second year we have come here in October half term and the hotel is perfect. Great food, great drinks, amazing rooms and a brilliant location to enjoy the sea or the pool if you have kids that love swimming. Will be returning again as it just makes me feel happy to be here :) Thank you for another amazing week!

The food was of a good standard. lovely beach sunbeds as long as it didnt rain, which it did heavily, then your towels ended up wet as soon as you sat down. Our room felt odd as the sink was in the bedroom and the wardrobe wasn't deep enough to drape clothes which seemed to be the case in many rooms after speaking to other guests, but the shower was great. It was good to have a fridge but a complementary bottle of water would have helped especially as we arrived at midnight and needed to take medication.Sadly we did find a lot of the staff weren't particularly friendly. After saying that the restaurant staff were and a couple of the bar staff. It would be a good idea if there was a coffee machine in the lounge area too. Coffee after lunch and dinner could only be found in the outside cafe.

Visited Avra Beach for 10 nights and had an enjoyable holiday. Hotel is good right on pebbly beach with numerous cushioned sunbeds as stated take Beach shoes. Food was enjoyable breakfast probably the worse sausage bacon etc not good but lots of other choices. The drinks were ok cocktails not great but not a big fan anyway. Busy road at front of hotel when walking anywhere plus roadworks made it worse. Nice pool but really cold the Agean Sea was definitely warmer. Emailed hotel for room in main hotel not a bungalow which they kindly arranged. Also a part sea view looking up towards Rhodes Town but also a view of construction work. Lastly if you want visit Lindos dont go on hotel arranged bus trip. It drops you high above Kindos with a long walk through narrow very busy and steep streets. Go on a boat trip which I did 2 years ago much more pleasant. Recommended but I will go back to Ialyssos a nice hotel and considerably cheaper.

Very good and clean hotel. The all inn concept was great. Nice new sunbeds. Everything you need is on the hotelcomplex. Busstation to go to rhodos toen is on the oppositie of the hotel. The entertainment was alsof nice and everyday different.

Just returned from a 2 weeks break and once again Avra beach did not disappoint, rooms, food, staff spotless, polite and couldn’t fault anything, Rob and myself renewed our vows and they exceeded our expectations so Thankyou to all involved. Entertainment team Sam, Lia, Boogie, Cyril and Tibi you was all amazing and was very inclusive to everyone, we had the best time, even if you thought I am just going to lie here on subbed and not do anything today, once you guys came on shift and the music started you just couldn’t help but join in, so much fun, had so many good chats and laughs with you all and never heard a bad word said against anyone, Thankyou entertainment team for making our holiday so special and one to remember, hope to see you all again next year to make more memories xxx
