Avra Beach

The hotel is lovely with nice views, wonderful food and a great swimming pool. However, the thing that makes this hotel stand out from the crowd is the incredible animation team. Sam, lia,Boogie and Tibi are the absolute best in the business. Their constant enthusiasm, kindness, fun and inclusive approach to the activities is amazing and they made us feel included and welcomed from the first day. What a team! Thank you for the best holiday, we were sad to leave you guys.

We had a fabulous weeks stay at Avra Beach at the start of July. We stayed in one of the older rooms and it was perfectly clean albeit in need of a bit of a renovation. The air conditioning was only in the kids partitioned area meaning the main bedroom got very hot at night. We had a lovely view from the balcony of the pool and the sea. The food was excellent, plenty of choice. My kids are fussy and basically lived off spaghetti bolognaise for the week so a better kids choice would be preferred The Greek snack restaurant in the day was amazing, fresh pizza, fresh salads, gyros etc and trays of watermelon. The hotel is directly on the beach and the sea is beautiful. It was very difficult to get in and out of the sea with the pebbly beach so sea shoes are a must. The highlight of the trip were the entertainment team. In particular Tibi and Bogdan. They are genuinely the nicest people you can meet. Always happy to stop for a chat and making you feel like friends A big shout to the life guard Ishmia (probably spelt wrong) who is also such a lovely man. Watching the pool like a hawk but also was a great help when my son hurt his neck and gave some good advice. My son was his biggest fan! You can book trips with the loveliest lady by the reception. The bus to Rhodes town is €7 euro return and we also booked a trip to Simi island on the boat with a swimming stop, which was very reasonable and I would highly recommend. Thank you Avra Beach! We will be back!

Excellent hotel with staff and management providing exemplar service. We will be returning again and would recommend the Avra Beach Resort Hotel to family and friends. As visitors to many destinations in Europe, the facilities and cleanliness of the Hotel from every perspective was the best we have experienced.

Staff were great especially Manello,..everything was spotlessly clean..pool. Was great..but needed a quiet spot for adults…beer was good but not cold enough…entertainment…excellent … bogdan was a great asset…would return when the beers colder 😂

Our 2nd visit to Avra Beach Hotel and it did not disappoint! Starting with the food there is something for everyone and food is available all day. The snack bar is well stocked with sandwiches, pastries, waffles, ice cream and cake. The entertainment team are fantastic, full of energy and fun, we didn’t have young children in our group but the team came by for a chat very day and even remembered us from last year. The entertainment during the day and night was fun to watch and there was something for everyone, there are pool tables available too. The grounds, pools and rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We got recommendations from the staff for Rhodes Town which were excellent too. Honestly can’t fault this place. It’s great!! We will be back. Thank you Avra!
