Delfinia Resort

We have just had a wonderful week at the Delfinia resort hotel the reception staff were very friendly and the room was lovely and clean we were in room 232 Housekeeping were very good and cleaned our room I think every day, pools were good also with a great friendly lifeguard and excellent entertainment team we enjoyed the morning pool music and then the activities threw the day from aqua aerobics to darts & beer pong, we also spent time at the smaller pool with better padded sun loungers, the barmen at the pool bar were also very friendly and we tried alot of the cocktails & beer, the dining area can get extremely busy when it just opens so we opted to go a little later when it was quieter the restaurant manager & all the waiters where very friendly, helpful and attentive at clearing the tables the food was good but could have been a little hotter it can also be a bit repetitive but we always found something nice to eat, there is also a front area with seating and a bar and snack bar where you can get sandwiches, hot cheese puffs, spinach parcels and cakes and ice cream again repetitive this is also where the evening entertainment is the toilets at this area are disgusting and there is a foul smell at the bar area we used the toilets at the gym area as they were cleaner. We also hired a car from the car hire desk at the reception area. It was €10 deposit for hotel beach towel We would defo return to this hotel as it was fantastic value for money and we had a lovely stay

I was quite skeptical about going after I read all the reviews but please don't believe everything you read. I went with my daughter and we had the best time the hotel is clean the food was great a nice choice yes some things were the same on some days but didn't bother me at all the theme nights had plenty of choice. The staff are so so friendly and was always trying to get us involved but never pushed us to do anything. The staff in food hall were so polite and always talking. quickly clean tables and the bar staff were the same always polite etc. The room was fine sizewise for us not massive but enough room to move around etc and was cleaned every day. The reception staff were polite even when I went to ask for another blanket they gave me 1 straight away I left my key in the room 1 day and they gave me another straight away and said just bring it back later. My daughter fell of the sunbed twice and each time the lifeguard and 1 of the entertainment team made sure she was ok. She was fine we was all laughing about it. I actually loved this hotel and the staff etc so much I've booked for me and my husband to go in October then me and my son next year in April. So please don't go by all the bad reviews try it and you will see how lovely it is the hotelnthe food the staff the whole lot. Thank you delfinia for a lovely stay and will see you again in October.

Our stay was overall very good. The rooms, although small, were fairly renovated and comfortable. The food was rich and offered a wide variety of choices for everyone, which we really appreciated. The only thing my friends and I noticed was that the restaurant manager, Thanos, became a little intrusive at times, as he was constantly talking to us and interrupting our mealtime. On the positive side, the pool bar was very helpful, and the staff working there were excellent and always attentive. In the evenings, we had an amazing time at the snack bar with the entertainer Mickey and his team. A big thank you as well to the best bartenders, Kosmos and Altin. Thank you all for everything — you made our stay memorable!

When we first arrived at reception we was given a key card and was left to find our room no information on meal times or where any facilitys where located the brown haired receptionist was not helpful at all, when entering the room we were disappointed very very basic with no cups kettle coat hangers, we left the room to explore the hotel and when we came back the room card wouldn't work we was up and down to the reception numerous times eventually the receptionist with the blonde hair (the nice one) gave us a key, The waiting on staff were brilliant such hard workers and very polite but the food was awful the drinks were nice and the icecream was lovely the fruit and salad was nice too but the luke warm food was horrible I stopped eating there after 3 days there's only so much salad and fruit you can eat. The entertainment staff were brilliant especially with the children you could see the children loved them, The pool bar was nice and clean the cocktails were gorgeous and the bar staff at the pool bar were polite and friendly but at night at the front of hotel the bar and snack bar was a different story there was one member of staff a little fella Greek he was a bit of a womaniser and made you feel uncomfortable and he was rude to the women's husbands so we went into kolymbia Town for drinks at night and food so much nicer, and the toilets at the bar area was disgusting the smell was unbearable, but like I said the staff were great from the cleaners to the entertain everyone worked hard. But if your after a bit of luxury this is not the place for you.

I cannot rate Delfinia highly enough! Came here for 5 nights with my 3 year old end of April and we had the best time ever. Before arriving I was concerned given some of the reviews I had read but there was nothing to be worried about. The staff were brilliant throughout - special shout outs to Shakey Mike, Ola and Nikos in the restaurant who made my daughter's stay an absolute dream. Everyone was so friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent - for an all inclusive the quality was fantastic and we never went hungry! We took full advantage of the all inclusive ice cream too which was delicious. Our room was perfect for the two of us - don't get me wrong, the bathroom was a bit dated but it did the job and we didn't spend a huge amount of time in there anyway. We were right above reception so could hear the entertainment until it finished at around 11pm each night but for us this wasn't an issue at all and the balcony door muffled a lot of the noise! For children, the pool area was perfect and it felt very safe. We went to kids club a few times too which was a nice break from the sunshine! The mini disco was the highlight of my daughter's evenings, and the animation team were brilliant. I can imagine going in the height of summer, the resort could feel a bit crowded and bar/ food queues may be a bit much however in April there were no issues at all. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay and will be booking our return trip for next year!
