Delfinia Resort

We travelled as a family of 4 when the area was only just coming into season so A lot of things around and nearby were shut. If I’m being picky the food was average, not horrendous but could of made some tweaks to make it better, a few nights a week they had different themes but didn’t seam to get the theme right? You never went hungry though there was always something and always chicken nuggets, chips and pizza for the kids. Snack bar wasn’t great, only served pastries throughout the day and sandwiches which in my opinion I didn’t like. We had a family room which took me a little by surprise when we walked in to see the bathroom sink was actually in the room with the beds and the shower and toilet were in the bathroom. Now the door to the bathroom was only a sliding door that didn’t even lock. The shower was great with a big overhead ranfail shower head and an extra shower head on a hose. But the toilet was so close to it, I couldn’t sit on it comfortably! After showering aswell it soaked the bathroom floor, so you can imagine a family of 4 getting ready like this every night was slightly stressful. I think our room was near some guttering also because the smell sometimes was absolutely vile! The storage for our stuff wasn’t the best either but we made do. We were only given 1 key and when I asked about another one they said it wasn’t possible. But that aswell we just also made work. Four your room to be clean it was controlled by a touchpad inside the room that then lit up outside your door so you had to ensure you did that as I think we had knocked it one night so the next day our room hadn’t been cleaned and we had no fresh towels, a full bin and no toilet roll! We had a family room and the beds for the kids (age 13) were quite small, if the kids had of been any bigger, then they would of been uncomfortable. We went during the Easter holidays, so a lot of children were here. So if you are a couple looking for a holiday during school holiday time I wouldn’t advise it. These are the only points if I’m being picky I could really comment on. A lot of people made assumptions about going to Greece in April but it was beautiful, Most days 22 degrees which felt sooo much hotter! We had one day of a storm but following day absolutely beautiful. Apart from these points (that by the way didn’t ruin the holiday whatsoever) we had a really lovely time! Staff were lovely and attentive and we had one of the best holidays we’ve ever had!

Location is good situated in the middle or nearby the tourist spot. We have visited almost the recommended spots online. The beach is around 10 to 15 mins walking from the hotel, which for us we considered a good distance to walk a bit after eating..The atmosphere in the dining area is fine, it gets crowded but the dining crew were fantastic in doing there best to do their job. It's the dining crew who make our stay comfortable, Valentino stands out😁 they were too many to remember.. The room is quite small and the design of the wall in the headboard puzzled us the functionality. The swimming pool we haven't used because it is most of the time reserved with towels early in the morning, but it's not a big deal for us because we came to experience the island. The resort is not that big which is a plus points for families because you could see from a distance the children and the children see each other often, that's why my son has so much fun together with the other kids..

Delfinia Hotel in Rhodes is a place that really stands out, even compared to higher-category hotels. The restaurant is amazing – the quality and variety of food are better than in many 4-star hotels, and even better than in some 5-star ones. I have visited many hotels, so I can honestly say that. The reception staff is very kind and always ready to help. A special thank you to the manager, Antonis, who does a great job running the hotel. He is very friendly, welcoming, and makes guests feel comfortable. All the staff are wonderful – always smiling, helpful, and positive. They create a great atmosphere that makes your stay special. The hotel is in a very good location – close to Rhodes Town and Lindos, which makes it easy to explore the island. There are also daily activities, a different great show every evening and gym. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. I highly recommend Delfinia Hotel, especially because of the amazing people who work there – they make this place truly special.

The staff are excellent, friendly and accommodating. Food is great.

The staff can't do enough for you, from reception, to the bar staff, waiters and the entertainment team. All are friendly, happy and great with the children. Food was brilliant, plenty of variety and all fresh. Pool was absolutely freezing but we came very early season so we expected it. The children loved Mikey the entertainment guy - he had plenty to do throughout the day and we all joined in. A holiday is what you make it! Yes some of the rooms are looking a little dated but it does look like they are renovating currently.
