Hotel great, room nice, cant hear the peacocks from our room , was worried about the bad reviews before we came but we have really enjoyed our stay as a family. All the staff from the cleaners, kitchen staff and animation team work there socks off from morning till night.To top it off the entertainment team especially Ferro and Billy are great with the kids and enjoyed smashing Ferro at table tennis daily

Our First Impression of Evita Resort We have only just arrived at the hotel, but unfortunately our first impression is very disappointing. The room is in very poor condition and is definitely not what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. In our opinion, it feels more like a 2-star property. The furniture is outdated, the overall interior looks worn, and the room does not feel modern or well maintained. The food selection is also very limited and does not match the standards we expected from an all-inclusive 4-star resort. The dining area and the rest of the hotel’s interior also look old and in need of renovation. To be honest, we do not understand how this hotel receives so many positive reviews. Based on what we have seen so far, it does not reflect the quality that is advertised. Of course, this is only our first impression after arrival. Tomorrow we will explore the rest of the resort and its facilities, so we hope our opinion will improve. However, based on the facts we have seen today, we are genuinely disappointed.

I came here with an open mind after reading the mixed reviews. We came as a family of 7 ranging from 3 years old to 60 - we wouldn't come again. Its definitely not 4 star standard. The rooms were dirty, shabby and broken. In some of our rooms the air conditioning didn't work, remotes to air conditioning and tv's were missing, shower's didn't work properly with the shower head being absolutely full of mould and limescale. Mould all over the mirror and bathroom tiles. Soap scum all over tiles and shower screen already there from previous people when we got into our rooms. Rooms are given the very bare minimum clean. Bins emptied every day, however, non of our bathrooms were cleaned or wiped down once in the whole 11 days we were there. Floor was swept a few times. I finally got some fresh towels on day 5 after I had to specifically ask for them. I think the bed sheets were changed once. Plus there are no mattress protectors on the beds either, so i dread to think what I might have been lying on. Plus, most of our rooms had ants in them too. Food wasn't the best either, very repetitive and food was recycled from sitting to sitting. Food was very miss matched, you couldn't make a meal from any if it. The snack bar was probably the most edible food, but you can only eat so much pizza and gyros. The coffee machines kept running out of coffee and I had to keep finding someone to fill them back up. Also, be prepared to queue for your food. The dining hall is very, very, busy and cramped. Most of the reception staff were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Entertainment was awful. I dont know how other people say it's brilliant. It was dreadful. Bit like sitting in a back street social club. And let's not forget the peacocks. I will never, ever, stay anywhere if I know they have peacocks on the grounds/premises. I was woken up around 5.30 am to 6am every single morning with their loud, high pitched screaming/screeching. Faliraki town is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. It is full of some lovely restaurants, bars and shops. We ended up going there quite a lot in the end to have a decent meal, drinks and entertainment. I'd say, if you can get a really cheap deal as a cheeky get away, go for it. But certainly dont expect a 4 star experience. (unfortunately, we didn't get it as a cheap deal).

This is my second time here, I first came with friends last year, so this year I came with my wife, she was expecting a great holiday at evita hotel, and one week in, she and myself , Love it, Food brilliant with several choices available, But the Entertainment Team run by Sam are great, Rooms are brilliant.

The pool bar is awful—the soft drinks are served warm, almost hot enough to brew tea in them. The elderly animator’s behavior is also unacceptable, constantly addressing women as 'Shakira' or 'Mamazita.' It’s a real shame that Nino isn’t here anymore; he actually knew how to connect with everyone properly."
