Gennadi Grand Resort

Don’t have words to describe such an amazing experience,everything was perfect,lovely staff especially Paris who’s been looking after us making sure everything was perfect,thank you very much!!!

We spent a week at the hotel on the All Inclusive Plus from Jet2. Location wise it’s a simple drive from the airport albeit long…especially after a long day travelling. But private transfer was 100% worth it! Overall the atmosphere was okay…the hotel overall misses on the vibe check; music during the day is only an hour or so & evenings are very quiet. We attended the beach party which was very low key at the start so we headed in, the pool area is good but again missing a vibe. We had a lovely surprise being upgraded to a swim up suite on arrival and the room was comfortable for the 4 of us (x2 adults & x2 kids) Rooms were clean and modern; only downside was the door needed to be slammed for it to be properly shut. Cannot fault the service overall, all staff have been very friendly. Ordering drinks to your beds is a nice touch & staff are always so willing to help. Things to be aware of; They do genuinely take away the hotel towels from sunbeds that are ‘reserved’ this happened to us twice, one because they didn’t have enough clean towels 🙄, & once when my husband left to use the bathroom despite there being ample free beds… Sunbeds around the main pool area are black & become like lava in the heat! Very limited shade so be prepared if visiting in the highs of season. The WiFi is not good at all, in the room is ok but it’s very patchy & laggy in all other places of the hotel. The app is a nice touch but it does require you to login a few times. Food has been great; we definitely peaked on day 1 booking the Steak House but would recommend trying all restaurants. Overall we had a good stay at the hotel! ☺️

This is our 2nd time here and it didn't disappoint. My advice is get a private transfer as its about 1hr from the airport but so worth it. The facilities are first class, the place is extremely well run, they take a genuine interest in you as guests and the food is incredible. When I say incredible there is al a carte restaurants you can book, and the food in these is extraordinary, but the buffet is just too good, as is the food at the pool bar (the burgers and salads are delicious). Our 11yr old daughter wants me to especially mention the bread as its amazing! I'd like to especially say thanks to Captain Veroniki, Altis, Dinos (pool bar) and the reception team who were all so amazing and looked after us every day. Thank you Gennardi Grand!

Whoa. Fantastic hotel. What is there to not like. Cannot fault this hotel. From arrival to departure everything was fantastic. Room great very large. Did not have a room with pool as added to cost. Pools all great. Sun beds very very comfortable. Just a small gripe people reserving and not using. This was not a problem until our last few days We did then see towels being removed by staff which did cause a few angry people moaning as towel removed. Big clap to the staff removing towels . I would love a job there to monitor the sun beds😂. Food fantastic no complaints at all. Drinks great again no complaints. Service was great. All staff so polite and helpful. You are all a great team you should be very proud. Bit of a long trip from airport but worth it. Will definetly be back. I could go on and on about how great this place is. Thankyou for making our holiday special

We are 2nd day into our week stay at the wonderful Gennadi and honestly can't fault it. The staff are exceptional, warm, attentive and genuinely seem happy to help with anything you need. It's a more relaxed hotel, not much in the way of entertainment, but that suited us perfectly for a proper rest and recharge. The spa is a real highlight, beautifully done and so relaxing. Food is top tier throughout, plenty of variety and everything cooked well. We are in a lovely garden room, which is spacious and clean. We'd hoped for a swim up pool room but none were available for our dates. The manager was lovely about it though, and said if one became free he'd happily move us. That kind of attentiveness says a lot about the hotel. So far would definitely come back, a great choice if you want somewhere calm to properly switch off.
