Gennadi Grand Resort

I’ve now stayed at Gennadi Grand on three occasions - it is a truly excellent hotel. Each of the A La Carte restaurants offer something different, but all equally fantastic. The buffet is great also, I noticed this most recent trip there’s a strong offering on vegan/vegetarian options. If you’re All Inclusive, Lunches are à la carte, with 4 different places to eat at lunch. Drinks are great, strong choice of cocktails, a Greek beer on tap, and some other nice choices - like the Strawberry cider, an excellent tipple. The staff in all departments provide a consistently excellent service and are so friendly, our 1 year old absolutely adored her little interactions with the staff. Housekeeping are the best I’ve experienced. The rooms are spacious and modern. It’s probably fair to say depending on what block you’re in will effect how much sun you’ll get if you’ve got a private pool room, but from the blocks I’ve stayed in, they all get a healthy amount of sun, and in some cases, more or less all day. In the rooms I’ve stayed in, they’ve all been quiet, noise has never been an issue. The more I’ve stayed at the hotel, the more it’s given the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. You could be forgiven for believing there’s not too much going on outside of the hotel, but scratch beneath the surface and you’ll find the charming village of Gennadi has a lot to offer, a plethora of lovely restaurants and bars, more than you could get through in one trip! If you have a car, it’s also well positioned to explore a few places with not too much travelling time, of course Lindos, Prasonisi, Kiotari to name a few. Another observation multiple visits has provided, the hotel do make tweaks and improvements, each time we’ve visited something has changed which has positively impacted - and that is refreshing and nice to see. Noted on this visit, they’ve added a bar to the pool at the back of the hotel on the road side, we’ve stayed in this block previously and this is a great addition! In terms of value? you *absolutely* get it.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Can’t fault it. When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink - the staff were super friendly and made our check in and the whole experience enjoyable. The staff can’t do enough for us and go above and beyond in every aspect. The hotel itself is stunning with a spacious layout - The hotel and rooms were clean at all times. The food and drinks were lovely with lots of choice and the buffet as well as snack bar options - we paid for the all inclusive package which was worth every penny. Our package included a meal at both the Italian and steak restaurant on site which was a lovely experience. We never struggled to get a sunbed on any of the days we were there, even though we were told that they were at full capacity whilst we were there - never felt too crowded. It is about an hour drive from Rhodes old town but we were able to rent a car through the company in our hotel which was very easy and straightforward. Would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxury relaxing holiday - will definitely be coming back here in the future

We had a truly wonderful stay here at Gennadi Grand resort two years in a row. We couldn’t have asked for more from our visits. The staff are all overwhelming with care and kindness. We hope to return again next year.

Loved it. Stayed for a week early October. The weather brightened up after a few days and 25 degrees is plenty warm enough for sunbathing. All inclusive package provides 3 evening al la carte. Both the Italian and steak were amazing. À la carte lunches available too as well as buffet. Overall 10 restaurants. We didn’t try the Greek, but everywhere was great quality food, good variety and large portions. Even the beach food. Includes was Spa use daily, gym, aqua aerobics, yoga. Even tried Ariel yoga for free. Relaxed atmosphere. Mainly couples young and old and a few toddlers / babies. Nice spread out location providing space to stroll after dinner. The beach is grey pebbles, clear water. But does get deep quickly. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the poolside DJ. The best coffee was from the pool bar.

We stayed at Gennadi Grand Resort for 5 nights in September 2026. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and the staff at the hotel went above and beyond with a room upgrade, champagne and cake. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere around the hotel is really relaxed. Our room was clean and house keeping kept us topped up with refreshments for the mini bar. Our swim up room was perfect and although we spent most of our time here, the main pools were also accommodating. The food at Gennadi Grand Resort was the best food we have eaten at an all inclusive. There is a huge choice at the buffet along with a handful of casual restaurants to pick from too. We did not use the beach at the hotel but there were always plenty of sunbeds and lots of activities to partake in. Overall the hotel was great value for money. There is an easy bus route into Rhodes Old Town and Lindos accessible at the front of the hotel.
