Gennadi Grand Resort

Just returned from an amazing week at this wonderful hotel. The food was the best we have had in a hotel, with so much choice at the buffet each day (excellent for my fussy 10 year old)! Everything spotlessly clean and the staff are all so friendly. If we return to Rhodes for future holidays this is the hotel we will book!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gennadi Grand Resort. The food, drinks and overall service were exceptional – everything felt carefully prepared and delivered with genuine care. The hotel is spotlessly clean and we completely enjoyed our holiday. A Very Special mention Goes to Panayotis (Panos), the Assistance FMB Manager and Sommelier. His professionalism, knowledge, warmth and attention to detail stood out every time. During our stay we noticed that he is always present at the busiest, most critical points, working side by side with his team and helping wherever needed. In my opinion, someone with his talent, dedication and hands-on leadership belongs in the highest position within the F&B department. I am certain he is more than capable of managing all the bars and restaurants. The same high standards apply to all his colleagues, especially the fantastic team at the Wet Pool Bar – always friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Their pastry kitchen is truly remarkable – we thoroughly enjoyed the incredible desserts every single day. The only minor frustration was the classic (and rather silly) guest habit of “reserving” prime sunbeds early in the morning by leaving books, towels or other personal items – something you more often see at lower-category all-inclusive resorts. It would be nice if this practice could be discouraged so that everyone has a fair chance at the best spots. Despite that small detail, we would still give the overall experience a full 10/10. Everything else was outstanding and we left completely happy. Thank you to Panos and the whole team for making our stay so special.

We really enjoyed it here. Everything was perfect. Room looks beautiful as well as the private pool which is very useful if the main pool is full. Location is perfect, close to Lindos, which we visited and it was very pretty. The atmosphere here is amazing! The staff is brilliant, the way how they treat the guests is really amazing, they are always happy to help. The cleaning staff comes to the room every day and they always do an amazing job. The food was amazing! I’ve never had a better all inclusive food in my life! The price was a bit high but it was worth it! Even tho some small children were here, there weren’t any annoying loud noises.

We have recently returned from the hotel and very sad our holiday had come to an end! The Hotel is fantastic... The staff attentive and friendly (but not overpowering like other holidays I have been on!) the hotel is very clean and there is always somewhere nice to sit with a delicious cocktail. We had a Suite with pool and garden view and it was lovely, spacious and very comfy beds. With the AI package the mini fridge is included and restocked during the week. The sun loungers are very very comfy (but do get very hot!) We visited the bubbly pool in the afternoon for a couple of hours to have drinks and listen to the DJ whilst the kids splashed in the shallow pool. The food is outstanding in the main restaurant and the puddings delicious. food choice for everyone and plenty of fresh cooked food options. We ate in a couple of the restaurants and all delicious too. We visited Gennadi and Lindos easy to catch the bus from outside the hotel, Kids are Free on the bus and cost was 50 cents each for the one stop to Gennadi and €3.00 each to Gennadi. We walked back from Gennadi it was around 20 mins along the road and we took a taxi back from Lindos for €40.00. The entertainment was pleasant and light (nothing crazy) and we had our children 7 and 4 who enjoyed listening to the music whilst we played card games etc and had a little run around at the pool bar during the music in the evening. There is a kids club that really does look great and the different activities sound fun my kids didn't want to go so we didn't use it as they were happy splashing in the pool and chilling in the shade at our room. There is a little park and kids pool (that is very very much in the sun all day!) we used the shallow bubbly pool by the pool bar as was a little less exposed. We will look to return for sure.
