Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama

This was a trip to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday, and the fantastic team couldn't have done more for us - we were treated like VIPs from the moment that we arrived by Christina and Katarina. We had the 2 bedroom bungalow suite with the fluffiest towels, softest dressing gowns, mini bar stocked with soft drinks and water, and perfect sized beach towels. We spent 4 days wandering between the brilliant restaurants and the pool bar (the piña coladas are highly recommended), and lying on the unbelievably comfortable sun loungers. This will almost certainly become an annual trip!

We had a fantastic stay here from late April into early May. Upon arrival, we were kindly upgraded to a Premier Family Guest Room, which was absolutely beautiful, we couldn't fault it at all! If I had to be picky, a full length mirror and a Smart TV for Netflix would have been nice additions, but that’s just down to personal preference. The hotel layout is lovely and open, with just a short walk to the beach and pools. Since it was early in the season, the outdoor pools and sea were a bit chilly (though many people were still brave enough to jump in!), so we mostly stuck to the indoor pool, which was a perfect temperature. One minor downside was that seating around the hotel felt a little lacking at times. However, during our last few days, the staff put up signs regarding the "reservation" of sunbeds, and we saw a massive improvement immediately. Regarding the food, we were very impressed. I’m quite adventurous and my partner is fussy, but we both left every meal full and happy. Everything was fresh and pleasant, with no issues at all. I’d highly recommend booking the à la carte restaurants if you can! Overall, the hotel was clean, peaceful, and the evening entertainment was a great way to end the night. We’d definitely recommend it!

I recently stayed at Grecotel Luxme Dama Dama and unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to expectations. While the staff were friendly and welcoming, several key aspects fell short. The biggest issue was the food—both breakfast and dinner were consistently cold, which made dining quite disappointing. On top of that, it was very difficult to book the à la carte restaurants, so we ended up eating at the same main restaurant every day, where the selection was limited and repetitive. The rooms felt basic and outdated rather than modern or comfortable. Evening entertainment was almost nonexistent, which made the resort feel quite dull at night. Even the beach bar had very limited food options. Overall, the hotel feels poorly managed and lacking in attention to detail. I’ve stayed at RIU Hotels & Resorts properties before and would choose them over this experience any day.

Our stay at Dama Dama was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Cristina and Catarina gave us the warmest welcome and made sure we were refreshed and comfortable after our journey from the UK—such a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the trip. We were a group of four friends celebrating a milestone birthday, and throughout our stay, every member of staff went above and beyond to make it special. The team were consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. A special mention must go to Cristina, who truly made our stay unforgettable—her care and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The food was another highlight. There was an impressive variety to suit all tastes, and everything we tried was delicious. We especially loved the beach bar for relaxed, light lunches. We also dined at both the Italian and Japanese restaurants, which were fantastic—definitely worth booking in. We had planned to try the Greek restaurant as well, but due to windy weather, we opted for the main restaurant instead, which still delivered an excellent experience. The pool area is simply stunning—immaculately clean, with incredibly comfortable loungers that made relaxing in the sun an absolute joy. With a well-serviced pool bar and soft towels always available, it felt like pure luxury. They have a lovely indoor pool and spa facilities—perfect for a bit of downtime. Just be sure to book ahead to secure your spot. What truly made this trip stand out, however, was the outstanding service from Cristina and her team. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. We’ll absolutely be returning—this is a 6-star team in our eyes

We had an amazing week at DAMA DAMA hotel in Greece! Upon arrival, we were offered drinks and provided with an easy check-in experience. Andreas then showed to our sea-view rooms which were lovely and he kindly explained all that we would need to know about the hotel for our week ahead. The staff at DAMA DAMA were incredibly generous as they kindly upgraded us to the Luxe Bungalow, which was perfect for us and our baby. The food was delicious - especially at the Al La Carte restaurants. Joanna, at the Greek restaurant, was particularly good and made our evening there even more enjoyable! The staff on reception were very helpful and accommodating. Every request we had they met and any questions we had they answered with an abundance of useful information. We would highly recommend DAMA DAMA hotel to any other families, couples and friends 😊
