Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama

Beautiful location, incredibly helpful and friendly staff made for a fantastic family holiday. The hotel facilities were clean and staff were attentive and the restaurants and food catered for all the family and always enjoyable. As expected from a family hotel the activities available were broad and you could always find a quiet area to relax if needed. Rooms were clean and well maintained and any small issues quickly resolved by the friendly staff.

Lovely week at this hotel with my family. The reviews concerned me pre travel so decided to upgrade our room and glad I did as heard some people complain about the AC in the main hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Positives - lovely staff, beautiful beach bar, good food and drinks offering and lovely à la carte restaurants. Really chilled atmosphere and nice beach. Improvements (but really didn’t affect our enjoyment of the holiday) AC in the room struggled so never got really cold, just 2 very small slides in the kids pool and this pool was green at the edges maybe because it’s a freshwater pool and could do with some more sunbeds but saying that we got beds every day we were there without having to go down at the crack of dawn so not a problem for us

Overall we had a lovely stay at the hotel. The food was great and a great selection of drinks at all the bars. The al a carte restaurants were a lovely addition and we were able to book these on the app a couple of weeks prior to arrival but also able to book once there. Pool and beach areas were lovely. Sunbeds were reserved early around the pool but plenty available till around 10am on the beach. It was great to see staff removing towels from reserved sunbeds when people were not there at 9am to make it fair for those who came later looking for sunbeds. The hotel was very clean everywhere and often saw staff cleaning around the pool areas and other communal spaces throughout the day. The hotel is a great location to get to Rhodes town by a 30 min bus or quicker by taxi. The only downside to the holiday was the aircon not working for the second half of the week and when asking staff about this they didn’t have any answers for us. We had spoken to other people staying at the hotel who also said they were having the same issue so it seemed to be a hotel wide problem. Finally on the last day we had maintenance come to our room to look at it but this didn’t fully fix the problem. As it was our last day we just decided to leave it. We would definitely stay again (as long as the aircon is fixed!)

I was in Grecotel Dama Dama at the beginning of August with my family and I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful hotel! Everyone always polite and smiling! We had a nice experience for our kids with the activities in the kids club with Fotini! My kids had a lot of fun on the banana tour and of course the mini disco with the guys!! A big shoutout to the Zumba man ! We had everyday fun doing water gym with Michele and water Zumba with Dimitri!! For sure a perfect place for family!!
