Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama

Wow! This hotel absolutely lived up to standards. On arrival we were greeted warmly and taken to our room (very quickly, because we checked in using the app) which was a big, clean room with great facilities and a lovely balcony. The mini bar was stocked everyday (with soft drinks and beer) and we had two (sometimes three) water bottles left everyday for us. We arrived late but was able to get something to eat from the late night snack bar (just little pizza squares, but they were good enough when hungry!). All the food and drink was absolutely fantastic, and we never had a meal we didnt like. However, the ‘hot’ breakfast items were often cold. Though the pancakes and pastries at breakfast were AMAZING, the lack of hot food let it down slightly. The ice cream/crepe bar is a fantastic addition, the ladies there often gave us massive scoops as well! The beach bar area is lovely and we ate lunch at the light snacks buffet bar there everyday. Drinks were always made to standard and were fantastic - freshly made and strong alcohol! The pool area is beautiful, the beds are comfortable and it was great to see staff actually removing towels from beds not being used and there were extra beds at the side of the pool if needed. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, only 5 mins to Faliraki. The beach is beautiful and fantastic sea to swim in. We had a late flight and still used the facilities all day, and showered in the gym changing rooms which was more than adequate. We had the best time, and this is truly one of the best hotels i’ve been to. The food and drink selection and aesthetics of the hotel and pool make it what it is. Amazing!!

Wow, we really did love this hotel and would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to go! We had a sea facing room (831) which had a lovely view. Very clean, mini fridge and espresso pods stocked up daily, room was lovely for what we needed it for. Restaurants - we pre booked alcartes before and LOVED the Asian and Italian. The wine list in them was very extensive and all included! The only one we didn’t rate was the Rose. Service was veryyyy slow, very very small portions, in fact we both ended up with eating in the buffet after and saw two other tables from there also eating in the buffet after 😂 (I can’t say I have a particularly large appetite either so I think others may struggle). Buffet restaurant - best AI buffet we have had. The fresh meat and fish was always SO good. We really have no complaints Snack lunch - Gyros were delish and made a nice change from main restaurant. The ice cream station was so good. Around 15 flavours and very tasty. Grounds were kept very clean, there is definitely an issue with the lack of sunbeds and I can imagine this becomes worse in peak summer but we are early rises so always managed to get somewhere. But I would say after about 9-9:30 you have no hope around the pool area. My husband very much enjoyed all the cocktails at the lobby bar and I enjoyed the mocktails! Also had a few non alcoholic spirits that i made good use of throughout the stay. Staff - honestly the friendliest and most helpful staff who are not doing it for a tip. A real credit to the hotel. Overall we really loved this hotel. I would say this hotel is good for couples & families, the smaller kids pool always had spaces. Recommendations : - Staff serving drinks around the pool sunbeds - Extra sunbeds added - Two staff needed at pool bar, poor girl was always so busy with a queue - Toilets needed outside around the pool instead of only at the beach or inside the main building

We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel and wanted to share how impressed we have been with the service we received. At the start of our stay, we experienced a small issue with our room. However, as soon as we brought it to the attention of the staff, they responded incredibly quickly and resolved everything without hesitation. The professionalism and genuine care they showed completely turned the situation around and exceeded all of our expectations. The restaurants throughout the resort have been an absolute delight. Every meal has been delicious, with a fantastic variety of food and consistently excellent service. We have thoroughly enjoyed dining at each and every one. What has truly made this holiday so memorable, though, is the amazing staff. Every member of the team has been friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. We would especially like to thank Eliza and her team, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help made us feel genuinely valued and turned our stay into one we will never forget. Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our holiday so special. We would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location, especially considering the price. The food was very good throughout our stay, with the à la carte restaurants being a particular highlight. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and were always happy to assist. A special mention goes to Marta, who helped us with our reservations. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We’d also like to thank Matina in the Italian restaurant, which served the best meal of our trip! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. :)

Just got back from the most wonderful stay at Dama Dama last week. Firstly can I say how much of a gem this hotel is! We were truly blown away from the moment we got there despite being nervous from some of the reviews and being the only people at the airport transfer staying at this hotel. Going to be a long review but I hope this helps with other people's decisions on this hotel. Arrived on the Wednesday afternoon and was greeted professionally friendly and quickly checked in and given information about the hotel. Amazing service being shown to our room and having our suitcases brought up for us gives an air of luxury to your stay. The all inclusive package is amazing and there is literally something for everyone. The service across the site from the lobby bar, beach bar, resturants, geleato,crepe bar and al a carte restaurants were amazing. Firstly the highlight of our stay was the beach bar. Amazing atmosphere complete with lunch menu during lunch times, amazing drink choices and a geleato and crepe station. On the nights this was our favourite spot and the live music was fantastic! Can I also just mention the beach bar staff provided the best service and even on nights when it gets busy they went above and beyond. I would recommend getting there early for entertainment as it does fill up fast and at lunch time the buffet down there is amazing full of Gyros, burgers, pizza ect. As it table service the wait times can be a bit long at times but it's worth it for the drinks and service you recieve. You can also see the staff are working hard and not stood chatting. Special mentions to Selini and Alysia (sorry if spelt wrong). Never been to an all inclusive that has offered so much selection of drinks both non alcoholic and alcoholic. The buffet resturant is what you expect but everything is packed with flavour. We never got bored of this breakfast and dinner but I understand its not for everyone. We found booking the a la carte easy and had no problems but having the app is a massive help. We had the Italian and the Greek. The Greek was amazing on our last night. The pool was also amazing vibe with music playing and a bar avaliable throughout the day for ease. Towels are avaliable between 10-5 to swap over for pool use. I have to admit the sun lounger situation is a bit hit and miss. We did manage to secure one 3 out 6 times in our stay but people unfortunately do reserve them with their towels. I did see staff on a few occasions removing towels but more often than not they were there all day. Maybe a little addition of some pool lockers? So those that want to use the pool all day don't clog up beds with their belongings. This wasn't a problem for us as we alternated between the beach the pool and the beach bar wherever there was room. Definitely recommend the taxi service booked by the hotel to Rhodes old Town and Falaraki however many complimented the bus service outside for €2.50. Both lovley days out but you really don't have to leave the hotel if you didn't want too. Jam packed with activities all day things suitable for all ages. It's nice to also not feel pressured into doing activities you can literally lounge around all day if you wanted to. All activities are published so you can view the week ahead on the app and plan your week out (if you like that kind of thing). A lot of people have said the rooms are dated however we found everything we needed was there; shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, body lotion, shower cap, handwash and a little vanity set with cotton buds, makeup pad and nail file.I think the wow factor in this hotel is the hotel ground which are well maintained and constantly see staff cleaning and maintaining the area. We personally appreciated this more than having a really fancy room. We found our room was cleaned every day, ample amount of towels provided and the mini bar restocked every day was a real nice touch. In our opinion this place was such a luxurious stay for us as a couple in our 30s and would advise people to give this place a chance . I think all the staff work immensely hard to deliever such a vast all inclusive that people don't always realise the work that goes into this service. A perfect stay finished off with the perfect end as we got engaged on the last night! Will definitely be visiting again! As the positives outweigh some very small things that need working on.
