Ialyssos Bay

Just returned from a weeks stay here, we usually go 5* but had seen this hotel many times with good reviews. We were not disappointed, weather fantastic, room spotlessly clean, food was good and staff all very friendly. We spent a few days on the beach , beds were 5 euros and you got a bottle of water which was nice . Would definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thanks for a great holiday 🇬🇷☀️😊

This is a really nice hotel and beautifully clean, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in. The room had everything you could possibly need, with a lovely view across garden. It is in a good location with a short walk to shops, restaurants, supermarket and sea front. Pool area is nice but can get crowded but there is grass to sit on. Food good mostly. Entertainment a bit hit and miss, but did have live music by pool one day a week, and any noise was finished by 11 pm. Lastly, I must say the staff are lovely. Reception staff, Stephanos and everyone else were helpful and kind. Would recommend.

This hotel is perfect for our needs. The staff are lovely people and work so hard for us to have an enjoyable stay.it's family run and that makes it more special than a big chain. Food in restaurant is fine, always something you can choose and plenty of choice, allergies are taken seriously, just let Steve or the host in the restaurant know if you have any. Drinks are ok too. Rooms and communal areas spotlessly clean. The pool is cleaned daily, and just a reminder the lifeguards are there for the safety of all guests, there are pool rules that need to be adhered to , some people seem to behave differently on holiday to what they do at home. No bagging sunbeds before 10am 🙂 It's a reasonably priced AI hotel so go out and enjoy this beautiful island, we budget to do that. You'd barely get a half board in the area for the price of this little gem. Towels, safe and beach sunbeds are payable for which again is fine, you only pay for your requirements. The entertainment is great too! There's a small laundry in the garden which is very reasonable and saves all that work when you return home. All in all we've met many friends for life here and that includes Angela, Steve, Christina and many staff. The beach is pebbly so take swim shoes for the children. The on site shop is reasonably priced. We go back twice a year, so try it and judge for yourselves!

7 nights family holiday. Absolutely fantastic greeting from the hotel staff and this continued thought out the holiday. Staff where always friendly and always took the time to talk to all the family. Hotel manger was fantastic always happy and took the time to talk to u. Always took us to a table and pushed my daughters chair in. Truly wonderful person. Rooms always cleaned and very spacious. Hotel its self was very clean. Food and drink was very good always something for the whole family to eat and drink. Location was good as possible 15 minutes from the airport and a 10 minute walk from the town. Very close to the beach although we as a family didn't spend to much time there. Lots of pebble so rock shoes are a must. 2 things stopped us from rating this hotel as excellent. Swimming pool rules. We have a 1yr old and 7yr. On the first day we as family spent most the day in the main pool with the little on in a inflatable ring with sun cover. Eldest can swim but we remained in the end of the pool which is shallow for little. Second day the main lifeguard is on with the one from day before and we get told to remove the little one from main Pool as she's to young. Under two yr not allowed. No where on the website or pool rules on display mentioned this. This led to 3 days of the holiday family being split. Day 5 of the holiday another child was under the age of 2 and was in the main pool. We spoke to the lifeguard and are little one was allowed in the main pool again. Entertainment in the evening was good most nights. Day time by the pool was either live music or live dj which was fantastic. Entertainment staff u dont see other than a bloke next to the speaker playing music.

Very good location, close to the sea and close to the airport. A very pleasant atmosphere, with a different event every evening, e.g., music, theater, karaoke, or a Greek night. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable, with air conditioning included. Meals are served as an open buffet, so everyone can find something they like. The desserts are also a plus—if you’re not worried about your weight. Rooms are cleaned daily, and towels are replaced as needed. As for noise, if someone is bothered by landing planes, that is the only disturbance we experienced—but if you’re tired, you likely won’t notice it. When it comes to the staff, this is the hotel’s biggest advantage—very kind and helpful people. Warm greetings to them!
