We paid a bit extra and booked a suite with a shared pool for a week at the beginning of June this year. The room 6002 was fab with its own pool beds on the terrace which led directly to the shared pool. It was a fairly quiet area separate from the rest of the hotel and was perfect for our week of R & R. There was a small porta cabin type bar in the adjoining sister hotel where we could get our AI drinks from and the lady, Camilia that worked there was fantastic, bringing drinks to us and just her general attitude, So a big shout out to her! And that's pretty much the best I can say about the hotel! This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, well it may be for facilities but thats about it. The customer service and food leaves ALOT to be desired. The food I would say verges on 3 star at best and the customer service, especially from the Reception staff is poor, just moving you onto another department or to the hotels App. So, the Hotel App is where you are supposed to get any information you need, such as evening entertainment, booking one of the 7 al a carte restaurants and so on. However the app, certainly for booking these restaurants doesn't completely work. On arriving we tried to book (knowing we only had a week, and there was only 1 table and 1 time available for the whole week in 1 restaurant. Not happy about this we found out that if you go to customer relations she can book us in, so this we did. It would explain why these separate restaurants were not busy, if you can't book on the app unless you ask you just don't go. Sadly though the food at these restaurants (and we tried the Wok, Meze Meze (the Mexican), The Steak House and the Italian didn't improve. The Wok, was the best out of all of them. The steak in the steak house was like eating leather, so tough and tasteless. The ravioli pasta in the Italian was so thick and hard, I can go on but hopefully you get the drift. The drinks across the restaurants and bars are the same, we didn't see any premium options and all the cocktails are out of ready made bottles. There is a real feeling of the hotel PENNY PINCHING, everything food and drink wise being done on the cheap! I'm sure if you are a family with young kids this hotel has everything for you, lots of activities and entertainment team to keep the kids amused but as an older couple looking for some R & R after a week of island hopping I wished we'd booked somewhere else. A good tip, if you are coming from Rhodes Town save yourself a lot of money and jump on the 30 bus to Kiotari, it stops at bus stop 70, right outside the Hotels Reception. (approx 7 euros per person). There are pool towels and you need to pay a deposit for these, I think 10 euros. Visit Lindos why staying here (jump on the bus) its beautiful and well worth a day out. The hotel is quite spread out with the activity pool for the kids at the top of the resort, the reception and main restaurant and bar to the middle of the resort and fish restaurant and beach to the bottom of the resort/hill. There are golf buggies to run people around which can be organised and booked for luggage pick up etc. We found the hotel and main bar to be very generic, ie the decor etc you could be any where in the world, and to be fair when sat in the main bar it felt like you were more in a conference centre than a Greek holiday hotel. However the terrace to the bar does have a fab view. Cleaning - not the best. Our room was clean when we arrived and a couple of times they popped in and changed the towels, made the bed, tidied the bathroom and emptied the bins while we were there but that was about it. The corridor outside our apartment wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there. Sorry for the waffle but hopefully the above helps with your decisions. We are a couple in our 50's who travel quite a bit, I wouldn't come back to this hotel.
Well, where can I start? From start to finish it’s been an amazing experience. Staff bend over backwards for you, nothing is too much. They are extremely kind and welcoming. The animation team are fantastic, and work so so hard! They have been great with our two boys. The food is great, there is something for everyone. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Overall an amazing experience and we will Definately be returning!
Great service Tsampika, thank you!
wWell air-conditioned room and clean. The location was a bit remote, but there were lots of pools and enough to see for a week. The atmosphere was good and the employees were helpful.
Just home from a week in this hotel. We had a great time and the relaxing break was very much needed. We stayed in room 4021 and loved the wee private pool. The hotel is very nice and it's in a lovely area, a bit far out, but still very lovely. The food is what you would expect, but there is always plenty and you certainly won't go hungry. All the waiters and waitresses are friendly and do a great job, there is an American lady in the main bar, that is so friendly and welcoming, but i must say some of the male bar tenders, need to go back to charm school!. All in all, we had a great holiday and enjoyed the hotel and the buetiful surrounding area of Lindos, etc.
