Lindos Mare

My partner and I stayed here for four nights in the middle of May. When we arrived we realised we’d made a terrible mistake, we didn’t book anywhere near enough time. The hotel is a dream, well cared for with beautiful views. The beach is a stone’s throw away and also well cared for, and the room we had was unbelievable with amazing views of the sea. What made this stay stand out was the team. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful; it really felt that our experience was important to everyone we encountered. They were all attentive, and Stavvos in particular made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make this trip special. The food is superb. Both restaurants have a fantastic, varied menu with strong portion sizes; you never feel short-changed! The flavour is perfect, the Donner Kebab in Pelagos is the best I’ve had. The breakfast and dinner buffet is easily the best I’ve had at a hotel, with varied, high-quality options in a sensible layout. This is without a doubt the best hotel stay we’ve had together. The location is idyllic, the facilities are top notch and well looked after, and the weather in mid-May was exactly right (early to mid twenties). All of that would’ve been great, but the care and attention the entire team provide here is the difference maker. The question for us isn’t “should we come back,” it’s “can we wait until next year or should we book to come back in September?!”

We are at the end of a fabulous stay at Lindos Mare. The hotel truly lives up to its outstanding reviews and we are so pleased we chose it for our holiday. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. All of the staff greet you with a smile and are incredibly friendly. The restaurant staff are attentive and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You couldn’t ask for better service, and the buffet food was always fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. As a vegetarian, there were plenty of options at every meal. We were initially worried, as buffets can sometimes be hit or miss, but the food at Lindos Mare exceeded all expectations. The Asian night was especially impressive, with a huge selection of sushi displayed beautifully. On the half-board package, we received two vouchers for the à la carte restaurants. Both restaurants were outstanding. We could choose anything from the menu and only had to cover the drinks. The quality of both the food and service was exceptional, making these evenings a real highlight of the holiday. We were also kindly upgraded to a family room so non couples could stay together, and we only had to pay one room tax, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The rooms were extremely clean and luxurious with beautiful sea views. The bathroom was especially impressive, with a shower offering both a waterfall setting and a powerful handheld option. The hotel is less than a 10 minute drive from Lindos, but we found the facilities at the hotel were so good that we didn’t feel the need to leave too often. Everything we needed was right there. You are also entitled to a free lunch voucher if you choose to dine at another restaurant outside of the hotel and miss the buffet dinner. For this reason, the half board package was absolutely worth it. Many people we spoke to who had chosen bed and breakfast said they wished they had selected half board, as the benefits go far beyond just the evening buffet. The pools were beautiful, and the sunbeds were extremely thick and comfortable. There was also a QR code beside both the pool and beach sunbeds so you could order food and drinks directly to you. The beach was also a real highlight. The snorkelling was excellent right from the hotel sunbeds, with plenty of fish to spot around the rocks. The lifeguard, Chris, was amazing. Very friendly and always keeping the pool area safe and clean. Every member of our family is leaving today without a single bad word to say, and we will all be recommending the hotel to friends and family. We very much look forward to returning to Lindos Mare in the near future.

We had a few issues prior to our arrival and Efi dealt with each one in a professionally and with empathy. For which we are so grateful. Lovely room, close to reception and the lift to the pool and restaurants. Cleaned to a very high standard - as is the entire hotel - spotless. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The food was excellent - I normally try to avoid sugar but the desserts made by the pastry chef were too good to miss! The service throughout was exceptional - special mention to Diana and Mr Savvas in the Estia restaurant for their incredible efficiency coupled with warmth and good humour. Mr S would not accept my compliments- he insisted it is team work. The main pool is stunning, kept so clean and the most comfortable loungers I have ever tried! Safety bin and around the pool is carefully managed by the ever watchful Chris the Lifeguard. He is friendly, helpful and an amazing swimmer. Everyone is safe with Chris around. The staff in the spa are very professional, skilled and friendly. Thank you for the warm welcome and lovely chats Veronica and Savvina and for a wonderful massage Ilias. I highly recommend a visit to the spa. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the hotel delivers a beautiful hand-made chocolate cake and a bottle of fizz! Such a lovely and unexpected treat! This is inevitably a long review as I am so impressed with this hotel. The hotel itself is impressive but it’s the staff that make the experience memorable. A lovely hotel in a scenic location. The Staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is an excellent selection of food for every taste. A special mention for Chris the pool lifeguard. He was friendly and it was very reassuring to have him poolside daily. The hotel is ideally located for the short trip into bustling Lindos Town.

Lindos mare hotel. Felt like family were looking after us. Rooms are great and kept very clean Half board so be prepared for a bar bill at the end. My only criticism was the entertainment I thought it should run longer as each event is short but good.
