Lindos Mare

Well, where do I begin. Having stayed here numerous times, it really is still superb. The service and attention to detail are outstanding. The team led by the fabulous Efi are all brilliant. They all work together to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The whole place is immaculate from the rooms to the public areas. The food gets better every year with so much choice either the à la carte or the buffet. The service in Virginias bar is excellent, they remember what you drink from day one! The view of the bay from our room was superb as was the cleanliness. Thanks to all of you for making our holiday so relaxing and by the way we do travel a lot which I think makes it all the more special that you are so welcoming and make people want to return. We still have 5 more days to enjoy before we sadly leave but will most certainly be back next October. Thanks again to each and every of you from reception to the cleaning staff who all work so hard. You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel, it really is unique.

This hotel is beautiful! We loved everything about it. The food, service, location, staff, it was all excellent. Few pointers, Taxis to Lindos is €10 each way. The hotel arranges and then you get your taxi back from the same place you are dropped off. Take advantage of the al a carte restaurants, the food is excellent People reserve sunbeds which is very disappointing and nobody does anything about it. The beach is the nicest spot though and there are plenty of beds available. Don’t order food to your lounger, you will be swarmed by huge wasps and it’s literally impossible to eat. Better to Go to the restaurant for lunch. The hotel has many steps and a steep walk to the beach, this was fine for us but should be a consideration for some. The room was lovely, very clean and a good sofa bed for our 17 year old daughter. The pillows are terrible mind.

We stayed at Lindos Mare in August and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Most of the staff are absolutely lovely, friendly and welcoming, and really help make the experience special. Breakfast was perfect, with a fantastic selection and everything you could want to start the day. One thing worth mentioning is that the evening dining options are a little limited if you're not staying on a half-board basis. Travelling with a child, we generally opted to head into Lindos for dinner, as we felt the buffet was quite expensive for a buffet-style experience. That said, we were told the food was very good, so this is more about the choice and value rather than the quality. The evening entertainment was okay, although we felt this was one area that could benefit from a little improvement. It's also worth being aware of the location. Whilst Lindos is close by, you do need a taxi to get to and from the town. Getting there is generally straightforward, but the taxi queues in Lindos can be quite long in the evenings, particularly when everyone is trying to get back to their hotels. These are relatively minor points in what was otherwise a really lovely stay. Lindos Mare is a beautiful hotel and a wonderful place to relax, and we would happily recommend it. We'd certainly consider returning!

Just home from a lovely week in Lindos. Booked on a half board basis. This gave us access to the buffet restaurant, or the two à la carte restaurants. (With certain restrictions) Much preferred the à la carte. The buffet in the evening was very busy and canteen like. We didn’t use the pool area, as we preferred the beach. Lovely sunbeds, with plenty of room and shade if required. Beach towels had to be obtained from the spa, but you were asked to use them for two days. A little inconvenient not having a station at the pool/beach to do this. We ate out of the hotel twice and took a taxi into the old town. This is a lovely spot, buzzing with shops, restaurants and bars. We realised that we would have preferred to be staying within walking distance, so that we could enjoy the nightlife. We had booked a standard double room, but were given an upgrade to a superior. Although this was a lovely touch, the room was the one disappointment. Tiny bathroom and slightly clinical feeling. No robes in the room (until we requested them) No turndown service. Just didn’t get the 5 star feel from the room. Hence the 4 star review. Overall we had a lovely restful week, with beautiful weather and the staff are all wonderful.

The staff are amazing the food is outstanding we were couple then my daugter and family came then 2 more family members couple days later, the only thing is they struggled with a table of 6 which was frustrating, This is still heaven on earth though
