Lindos Royal

We have just thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Lindos Royal. We received a warm welcome, even though we arrived late due to a flight delay. We were not on the late meal list but the waiter in charge, more on him later, was very welcoming and explained how the restaurant buffet worked. Our room was very clean, with enough storage. All the cleaners did a great job working hard and were friendly. We were in block 3 which was a great position! The main restaurant was brilliant. The manager runs a tight ship, always around ensuring things run smoothly. All the staff, waiters and cleaners work so hard to ensure everything is clean, tables set and service is smooth. If I could have written every name I would but the two that stood out were Mixalis (Michael in English) who is a trainee manager. First night he was great and every day after that, what a hard worker. The waitress Devine is just gorgeous, full of smiles and warm welcomes. The food was delicious, we aren’t fussy eaters at all so enjoyed a wide range of well cooked foods at every meal. Thanks to the chefs and kitchen staff! All the pools were cleaned early morning, we could watch from our room, and the grounds were well tended. There was no issue getting a sunbed each afternoon. The two bars had a good range of drinks and, as with the rest of the staff, the bar tenders were friendly and hard working ensuring there wasn’t ever a queue of more than a couple of people. The staff on Reception were very helpful and sorted a trip to Rhodes Old Town for us. All in all a relaxing and enjoyable fortnight.

Me and my girlfriend had a good time here made friends with some of the bar staff mr stavros , and the manager was brilliant too mr diamantis , overall good people good hotel and we had a good time

we had a wonderful stay! Stavros at the main bar made amazing cocktails and was always very friendly and welcoming to everyone.His positive attitude made every visit to the bar enjoyable. Mr.diamond was always there whenever we needed anything.he was attentive,helpful,and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. the breakfast was excellent,with a great variety golf delicious food,and the location was perfect for visitor.everything was convenient and made our vacation even more enjoyable i will be back ❤️

I stayed from the 23rd-30th. The food was very good in the all inclusive buffet, new options everyday with keeping main staples. Water and fruit juice available self service but very small glasses. If you would like hot drinks or fizzy you need to go to the bar which was introduced towards the end of our stay, this is horrible i much prefer table service as i stood at the bar for 10 minutes. The pool bar has constant food such as chips always available and occasionally gyros (these should be permanently, it’s greece!) pizza always available but low quality compared to all inclusive and hot focus on occasion (these need cheese as it’s dry just bread hot dog and dry veg) , the swim up room was lovely i had the apartment view not garden. First room didn’t catch the sun until 4pm so i switched! DO NOT SETTLE if you would like sun in the morning! they moved my room happily which i was very grateful for ! i then got the sun at 10am-3pm which was great! The pool bar people were all lovely except this one white girl who was working on either the 29th or 30th i can’t remember but she was VERY MOODY , RBF and very bland and rude she needs fired. The guys were all so lovely. The pool was nice but the sunbeds got taken so quick so i’m glad i had a swim up room! signs say no towels allowed to reserve beds but there were multiple beds with towels with no people on it so it was unfair! The reception was nice and easy. I believe that lunch was too short, you had 7-10 breakfast, 10-11 for basic breakfast, lunch for like an hour and dinner 7-10 which can be very late for kids. I believe there should have been a late night snack option even just soup and bread! Also i believe cups should’ve been bigger! Sometimes pool staff put way too much vodka, they may think 21 year old like it but trust me it doesn’t even taste enjoyable! My partner tried to get water multiple times and the pool guys were joking around saying okay and gave him more vodka… not professional! There should be permanent fruit or ice cream not just junk food like chips and biscuits etc! some people want to look after themselves. room is nice but i believe there should be a scale in the room to weigh yourself. Fridge should be restocked daily, its not only the first day! more announcements for pool activities! the restaurants we were allowed all 3! BUT THEY WERE ALL FULLY BOOKED. these should instantly be booked for me and then i should confirm my attendance, i shouldn’t need to book if it’s included. i only got to try asian :( gym is rubbish and the cables were broken! I have no idea why the close time is 6 this should be 10pm or even 24/7!!!!! gym should be a lot bigger. NO ROOM SERVICE is an actual joke! why does the phone say “room service” if it is not offered!

Currently staying at the hotel and what a disappointment. This hotel is nothing like the 5 star hotel it promises. On arrival we were taken to a room for 4 with a double bed and annex with two additional beds, very much catering for a family of 4. The room was beyond basic and the furniture is in very poor repair with one single wardrobe for a family of 4, no working air conditioning , plug sockets that didn’t work and an electricity box with no cover and highly dangerous . In reporting the air conditioning a member of staff he attended our room and began flicking every switch in the electricity box much like you would try and jump start a car. This was 2am in the morning after a long day travelling and we stood there whilst all the lights were being flashed on and off via the electricity box much like in a rave, albeit without success. When I requested two fans we were provided with one , with a lead not long enough to reach the beds so useless in cooling my children down so they could sleep. The following day when I spoke to reception they offered to move our room which we did so spent over an hour lugging all out belonging and unpacking in the new room where we had been treated to one double wardrobe!!!! The bathrooms are tired as are the room and one the second night the shower fitting fell off the wall and cracked my young daughter on the head. But worse than any of the above is the stench inside the bar which hosts the evening entertainment. I have never smelt anything quite so putrid!! It’s is quite literally makes you hold your nose it is absolutely vile. The staff say it has been like that for so long they no longer smell it. In short no hotel worthy of five stars only offers drinks in plastic cups and has the most god awful smell of sewage in the pool bar. Quite possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and will not be returning .
