We are here now and the rooms are unbearable to sleep in as there is no air con. The new owners won't put it on till June even though its hot. The hotel manager is lovely but there is nothing she can do. Some restaurant staff are rude. Our room is dated but the view is stunning.

This hotel definitely does not meet a 5-star standard — I would rate it at no more than 3 stars. During our stay, we experienced numerous issues that made it impossible to have a proper and restful vacation. First of all, there was constant noise throughout the hotel, and there were no quiet hours at all. The rooms have absolutely no sound insulation, so it felt like we were staying in a shared public area rather than a private room. Our room was located near the reception area, which made the noise even worse. For two days, a generator was running from 5 a.m., located only about 15–20 meters from our room. In addition, the door closers do not work, so every door slams loudly when closing. With around fifteen doors in the corridor constantly banging, the noise was unbearable. Our children kept waking up during the night, and we were unable to sleep properly ourselves. There was also a sewage smell throughout the hotel territory. Complimentary bottled water was provided only on the first day; afterwards, guests had to refill the bottles themselves. Furthermore, there was not a single heated pool, which is especially disappointing when traveling with children. The air conditioning in the room did not work because it was considered “off-season.” However, there were no mosquito screens and no fan provided, making it impossible to open the windows comfortably. The room temperature was around 26°C. Due to the constant noise, poor room conditions, and all the other issues mentioned above, we were not able to properly rest and enjoy our stay.

Very bad experience and we honestly do not understand how this hotel can call itself a 5-star hotel. The only thing that looks luxurious is the reception area. Everything else is maximum 3 stars, and some things are even worse. The room conditions are terrible. The air conditioning does not work because according to the hotel’s “policy” it is only turned on starting June 1st. The rooms are unbearably hot and it is impossible to sleep. If you open the windows, the room immediately fills with mosquitoes. There is absolutely no sound insulation in this hotel. It feels like living without walls or doors. Everything happening at the reception can be heard clearly inside the rooms — people talking, noise, suitcases rolling around, music. Sleeping is impossible because of the constant noise. The rooms do not even have basic things — no kettle, no bottled water, and you have to walk around looking for 5-liter water containers to refill your own water. The worst part — cockroaches come out from the bathroom. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one that presents itself as a 5-star property. The dining area is also a disaster. Every time you come to eat, you have to take constantly wet plates and wipe them yourself before using them. Guests leave dirty napkins used for cleaning the plates right next to the food, and the staff does not even bother to place trash bins nearby. There is also an unpleasant sewage smell everywhere around the hotel. It is not enjoyable to sit by the pool and have a cocktail when all you can smell is sewage. Also, do not expect any decent evening programs, shows, or entertainment. The animation is so bad that it would honestly be better if there was none at all. This hotel does not match its price or star rating at all. If you are looking for rest and comfort, you will definitely not find it here.
