Rhodos Horizon Resort

Booked to stay in Horizon Resort but was actually placed in Horizon Blu - the next door sister hotel. Told this was the "third building", not a separate hotel. This is why I have taken off 1 star due to the way this was communicated and the fact we didn't get where we booked. However, we were able to use the facilities in both hotels, which was an added bonus. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but smaller than we expected, especially as we paid for an upgrade to a bigger room. Food and drinks were great at all meals with lots of choice and tasty options. The desserts were my downfall. Although could have had better quality icecream. Plenty of drinks to choose from in the restaurants and bars. Cocktails were pretty strong. Pools were freezing so didn't swim in them. Was also quite breezy at times. Managed to find a sun bed each time we were at the pools. Only went down to the beach once but had nice sunbeds and umbrellas, with plenty of them. Good location with a short walk to the town and harbour. Entertainment was a bit repetitive - lots of singers singing similar songs across the bars and nights. Could have done with more interactive activities in the evening. Overall, had a lovely holiday there and would recommend it to others. But should have been given the room we booked, or some sort of compensation/refund for the fact it was smaller/not what we expected.

Beautiful hotel spotless staff very friendly reception really good bars great drinks are good not watered down restaurant was beautifully done food good but pretty much same most nights Chinese night was the best puddings and starters were plentiful breakfast good we had a lovely sea view room beds comfy drinks in fridge included and replenished every 3 days entertainment most nights were good had a really good time and would defo go back

My daughter and I stayed in this Hotel in April 2026 for 7 nights. Our experience was amazing. The staffs are all warm, welcoming, friendly, polite and very professional. On arrival, our luggage were carried by staff, we were welcomed with a glass of champagne at the reception and was given full tour and details of all that was included on our stayed. The food was tasty and full of flavour. We enjoyed unlimited food, drinks and cocktails. We had a special one night dinner date. Good variety of food and quality drinks and cocktails. We so much enjoyed our stay that we were sad to leave. Since back to the UK, I have recommended and still recommending the hotel to colleagues, friends and family. We meant some amazing people there as well and had a good laugh. We shall surely be back soon

Just returned home from a week at this hotel. Great beachfront location within easy walking distance to the old town. Room was spacious and clean, food amazing staff pleasant and helpful especially Dora, Ersuela and Janika who gave us excellent service always with a smile. Would definitely return to this hotell. excellent service from the staff, amazing starters and deserts with good choice of Mains. Well located for ventures into the old town areas and the rest of the island. You will never stop the selfish reservation of primium placed sunbeds without a pool attendant , however plenty of spaces on their private beach. Given the opertunity we would return again , good value for money 😻😻😻😻😻
