Rhodos Horizon Resort

Excellent hotel with first class service & amazing staff. Beautiful beach front location. Variety of food is fantastic with something for every taste & requirement. Second visit to this hotel & the cleanliness, friendly staff & general efficiency of hotel will hopefully have us return for a third time. Excellent all round!

Pros: -staff are friendly and not overbearing, so give you space. -Location of the hotel is great, right on the sea front, with some local shops less than a 5 minute walk away. -The hotel is clean as should be. Cons: -The food is repetitive and average at best, certainly avoid if you have a nut allergy, every dessert is full of them. However the snack bar isn’t too bad. -Dining hall is far too small for the amount of guests the hotel occupies, we went in the off season and struggled to find seating some evenings, I dread to think what peak season is like. -Needs more premium drinks, cocktails aren’t the best, larger is cheap and no ciders etc on offer. -Entertainment is really lacking quality. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel, but if we’d paid full price in peak season, I would’ve been devastated. Enjoyed my stay in Rhodes, but won’t be returning for another stay here.

Location was great for the beach, but no tidy pubs around unless you take a taxi or a 20min walk two the old town . Beach was clean tidy had a bar two. The atmosphere was ok , did do bingo/show in one of their hotels 3 to choose from. Rooms were basic did have a fridge in room stocked with some fizzy drinks, water plus a beer ,was a bit disappointed 1 of the waters had been started so we're the nuts reported it came restocked it , bathroom was ok lovely walk in shower, but the beading could do with a clean . As I said the hotel looked lovely from out side was got into reception was greated by a lovely girl call Katerina where they supplied mini roll and a glass of dry wine,but because we arrived late nothing much left, but nothing was to much trouble for her even took us to a lift and we went to our room where I suitcase,s were the rooms are very basic 10 hangers no draws to put smalls in ,tv only 1 British channel, there was tea and coffee in the room with little milk , safe was free ,there was a nice little touch in the wardrobe was a hotel bag and towels for pool/beach, But for a 4* was disappointed was,nt the wow factor plus our room faced bin,s and sister hotel, and bin lorrys /deliverys started about 3.30 am food wasn't much cop , drinks were wet , bar staff couldn't fault them Martin was favourite with the older people ,so if you struggle walking ,there are 2 main lifts in dinning room , and 1 by the pool ,four pools to choose of but only one you can walk into ,and for a sun bed you gotta get up really early. On the desk Michael was there everyday, anything you asked him he new the answer i would give him 10/10 for his service . Old town is about 20mins walk . So if you have a disability check it out first, Hotel 8/10 ,food 5/10 ,friendliest staff 10/10 , disabled friendly 7/10, Hotel Star 3 not worth 4* we paid over what our budget was because our special anniversary but it wasn't my cup of tea . Old town worth looking at but not disabled friendly and all the pavement are really high that includes the ramps . Restaurants all along the seafront, plus sunbeds ,beautiful place .

4th time staying in the Rhodos Horizon Resort, it’s a beautiful hotel, central location, good food selection , staff so helpful and pleasant especially Dora in the Dining room and the chamber maids were so friendly and helpful too, the bedrooms are comfortable, we also enjoyed the nightly entertainment we are returning again in October 27!

Very good Resort. Nearby the beach . The dishes are fabulous. Amazing breakfast. The Staff is incredible, top top top.
