Sheraton Rhodes Resort

We recently stayed at Sheraton Rhodes Resort and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, some of the staff members were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and truly went out of their way to look after us. A big shout out to Dimitri who was professional and very hard working but remained very friendly and welcoming in the dining room, nothing was ever too much trouble for him . He has the all the credentials to go far in the tourism industry. The room was spacious and had amazing views of the sea and sunsets. There wasn't a fight for sun loungers either, probably helped by the number of pools areas. Unfortunately, our holiday was heavily disrupted by a large, rowdy group of conference attendees all from one specific country. They were loud and completely out of control around the swimming pool and the dining areas. It felt like the hotel prioritized this big group over the comfort of regular holidaymakers. Overall its a lovely place with great staff, but the hotel needs to manage large events better so they do not ruin the stay for other guests. I will add not all conference attendees behaved in this manner only members from this one specific group.

I’m just coming to the end of a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Rhodes, and what made it so special was the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the staff I met. From the warm welcome by Rafaela, who kindly ensured I had an evening meal despite my late arrival on my first night, to the outstanding restaurant team, led by Georgio. Everyone went above and beyond. Alexandria, always with a welcoming smile and kind words , Dimitrius who deserves a special mention for his genuine warmth, humour and attention, and those that I have forgotten names. The team remembered my name, asked about my trips, and offered thoughtful advice, while showing the same care and attention to every guest. Such great team work evident to see and other guests commented on and appreciated. My room was beautiful, with a stunning sea view, an incredibly HUGE comfortable bed, excellent amenities and was kept spotless throughout my stay by diligent housekeeping . The room location near the evening entertainment meant I could enjoy it from my balcony when I wanted a quieter evening, it was never too loud, just right. The food was excellent, with a great variety each day. The fish was beautifully and freshly cooked, breakfast was outstanding (the best Eggs Royale I’ve ever had!), and the fresh detox juices were a delightful discovery!! The hotel’s private beach and three pools never felt overcrowded, making it easy to relax throughout my holiday. Thank you so much to everyone at the Sheraton Rhodes for making my stay so memorable. Your kindness, and genuine hospitality made this a true five-star experience and I hope to return again soon. ☺️

We were placed here from an easy jet flight cancellation and it was perfect! The staff at the reception were so friendly and understanding. Room was furnished with everything you’d need and always clean/bed made. The pool area and lunch time restaurant was beautiful and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only slight downside was an angry sounding man/manager shouting down his phone during our arrival (I assume he was not happy with people who had flights cancelled being placed in “his” hotel) I didn’t choose this hotel however would definitely book in future!

Great location as a base to explore the island with plenty of parking for hire cars and not too far from airport Hotel itself lovely and reception and pool/ restaurant/ bar staff all great. Plenty of sunbeds but pretty basic and not too comfortable. A great stay that could had been excellent with just more attention to detail. Housekeeping poor with having to chase for room to be cleaned ( at 7pm!) and shower gels and coffee / tea again not topped up unless specifically requested Having only one person to get towels from who was also manning spa reception also inadequate. Overall though positives outweigh the negatives .

We had a great time at this Sheraton Rhodes. The Concierge, Anna, was so helpful arranging excursions, day trip, and anything else we needed. The bartenders, Michalis, Angelos and Zafiris were friendly and a pleasure to sit with. Our server most mornings for breakfast was Dimitri. He had a smile for us every morning and provided entertaining service. The restaurant had excellent food and a great view. Thanks to Konstantinos and our server Efi for making us feel special. The dinners were so good we ate there 3 times. We are planning our next trip to Rhodes and will definitely stay at the Sheraton to visit our new friends.
