Sun Beach Resort

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing stay. The room we were given on arrival was old, small, dirty, and nothing like the photos advertised. We were placed in the older building without this being made clear when we booked. The food was repetitive and below the standard expected from a 4-star hotel, and the overall cleanliness was poor. After complaining, we had to pay extra to move to a better room. This was not the relaxing family holiday we had expected. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

At Sun Beach now. Clean rooms, great staff and entertainment team. Garden rooms are a bit dated but plenty of space and in line with other Greek hotels we have used. With 2 young children in our party we are at the pool from 8ish as this is where they want to spend all of their time. We came down this morning at 7 50 and couldn't get a bed with a parasol but most frustratingly, it is now 13.15 and this row of beds were already reserved at 7 50 and there is still no-one on them.

A nice, clean hotel. A very good breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room worked very poorly. It was frustrating that all the sun loungers were "reserved," making it impossible to get a spot by the pool after 9:00 AM.

Frist time there and we Will be back next year 100 procent. Special thanks to Marina every day top service at breakfast and allways happy with a Big smile. And special thanks to the really serviceminded receptionist (mapel) i Think here name was ? Dark Long hair tight back in a band and with Black glases.. she ordered us a taxi to the old town and guided us so well on a map. Thank you all for the best time .. hope to see you again next year .. We arrived on the Saturday late evening and we checked in. Went to our room a family room was really nice with two bathrooms with shower and toilet my children had separate room thqt had a kitchen area in. The beds I've found are really comfortable and nice rain shower in the bathroom. The rooms and hotel are very clean i found. We were in the newly renovated area. Beach side. The Garden view area is next to be renovated. We had to go that side for dinner and entertainment, which was fine. First morning for breakfast we were greeted by the lovely Marina Rosstes who was very cheerful and helpful, we always see her at breakfast and dinner. She was always very good and smiling. She has great customer service. But all the staff are their really helpful and friendly. The reception Tsampika was great. She helped us with a couple of things we needed help with. The hotel itself is on a nice location next to the beach and sea. The beach is very pebbly, maybe wear some sort of beach shoe or crocs. The sea can be very choppy. You get alot of planes flying over but i liked that. You don't hear them inside the rooms. The ground are very nice. The food was good plenty to pick from there is gluten free options etc. There is a supermarket right next to the hotels. The drinks are a good choice all invlusive beer option is Zythos which is good and all invlusive runs to 11pm. You need to pay afterwards. You can pick to go for Italian, Asian or Greek also for evening dinner. Just need to book. There is a snack bar at the pool with crepes and chips and pastry type of option's. The swimming pool can be busy at times but its manageable. Sun beds is ok. But plenty of seating around the pool.There is plenty of activities to do.The only thing is if your near the beach area you need to walk upto the pool bar for drinks would have been nice to have something closer. But definetly would come here again. 15 mins drive from hotel.
