Sun Beach Resort

Nice hotel , nice room we stayed self cater so can’t comment on the food. Resort split into 2 . The only downside is the sun bed situation, have to be up early to grab a sun bed, some umbrellas are broken. Didn’t use the adult pool has had children. There are few empty hotels and shops which are run down making it an eyesore not sure what the tourist tax goes on but probably use the tax to re vamp the area

Head Animator Mario & his Team made our week long stay enjoyable. Friendly and engaging- would thoroughly recommend seeing their daily entertainment programmes. Variety was good- something for everyone. Daytime pool side activities were good too. Warm & friendly staff, polite & professional. Some apartment rooms need a refresh & update- this would really make the experience better. Nevertheless, clean and good. Food options good. Special mentions to -Mario & Team ( loved the MTV night) -Theodora, Martina, Ilyas & Dimitra. Thanks all for making our stay memorable! See you again!

My family and I had a two week stay here in the self catering apartments, The food served at the restaurants on site was lovely - can’t fault it! Absolutely no issues whatsoever and my fussy kids (both ASD) managed to find something to their liking The staff were lovely - absolutely fab! Welcoming, friendly and eager to help in any way they could. The area itself was fairly quiet which was perfect for families with small children, but not too far away from other places to explore. The accommodation was a let down, however. The self catering apartments are dated and perhaps in need of some love. (I believe the hotel itself is quite different to the self catering accommodation) Our bathroom had a colony of resident ants that the little one kept trying to pick up and without any doubt, have a munch, and there were a number of cockroaches that tried to takeover our accommodation. I understand and accept that warmer climates will have more beastie bugs lurking about, but not sure it’s quite as much as we experienced. We also found that housekeeping wouldn’t come in if we were in the apartment which meant that we could go days without having a visit from them. (We don’t bite! I promise!) The resort cats were a huge win for one of my daughters. Very friendly. We didn’t get along to the on site entertainment but I believe it had a good variety to offer. The pools were fab - however, the amount of older children playing in the kids pool (and I mean much older) was frustrating especially with having a one year old. They showed no consideration for the younger kids whatsoever, and I really would have thought that particular pool would have perhaps some sort of age limit given that there’s plenty other pools for them to muck about in. I was also disappointed that the pools were all closed at 6pm as this banished the idea of a nice, evening dip. Sun loungers… yes, those pesky things… Pool areas aren’t meant to open until 10am and rules state not to be reserving sun loungers with towels before this time. That rule is not enforced so don’t expect to arrive a second after 9am and strike lucky enough to enjoy one. They’re long gone. Don’t be naive into thinking anyone will leave at some point, either. Many families leave their stuff and go off out for several hours, if not the day which really winds me up. Several families including my waited in hope to have the opportunity of a lounger but without success. Overall, there was nothing majorly or significantly wrong, although there’s some improvements that could be made.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Sun Beach Resort, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible animation team! I was amazed by how wonderfully they take care of the children in the mini club. The kids absolutely adore them, which is so obvious during the evening mini disco – the little ones just hang on their every word and have the best time! But the fun isn't just for kids; the team puts on an amazing and entertaining evening program for adults every single night. The whole team brings such great energy to the hotel. Thank you for making our stay so special, highly recommended!

Excellent location for both the town and the beach. The hotel itself was beautiful and I have to say definitely one of the nicest hotel rooms we’ve had, the beds were really comfortable as well.
