TUI BLUE Atlantica Aegean Park

Arrived 13:th of June and there was a very calm and easy mode at the lobby. The first week (out of two) were relaxing and absolutely no one reserved sunbeads (est 80% Swedes). Not many tourists. The second week it felt like the visitors doubled. No problems to get space or beads but many towels at the best beads. The place is great, as expected. The buffé was loaded with good food! Great for vegetarians. The staff was welcoming and ready to serve you. A big shout out to: Leandros (MMA-dude from Albania), Raluca and Manolas. You learn who to ask for drinks and you’re spoiled by the three ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Visit bubble-bar and the water-park, the first a must. The TUI-staff was great people. What’s up Chris? Always ready to entertain children and adults. 2 great weeks and some residents are regulars. Quite understandable. Would like more theme-restaurants at evening dinners. Like Mare in Cyprus.

We had a meal at The Green and Grill, the service provided by Vera and the team was second to none and the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Well done and thank you, you are a credit to the Atlantica, Aegean Park hotel.

I am writing this review to highly praise the Atlantica Aegean Park team for their professionalism, but to issue a critical warning to anyone thinking of using Booking.com to book this resort.Booking.com’s platform suffered an egregious payment glitch, charging my bank account twice for two rooms—extracting a total of £6,788.90 without authorization. Immediately after taking my money twice, Booking.com's automated system erroneously canceled my reservations due to "payment failure." Their front-line customer service completely ignored my bank statements and even ignored a formal UK Court Money Claim I had to file against them.I am currently recovering from a major medical procedure (kidney removal surgery), making this recuperation stay a strict medical necessity. The stress Booking.com has caused is dangerous to my health.Thankfully, the direct team at Atlantica Aegean Park has been incredibly understanding. If you want to visit this beautiful resort, please learn from my nightmare and book directly with the hotel's official reservations team instead of trusting Booking.com.

Start with the positive, the hotel is stunning and the rooms are lovely. Beds were super comfortable. And that is where the positive points end. We were only there for 2 nights, and our room key stopped working twice. Both times we went to the reception and were confronted with an annoyed member of staff (katerina). On the second time of informing her that our key was not working, i heard her going into the office and letting out a frustrated noise. I found this to be completely unprofessional. On our first night, we also inquired about dining in the a la carte restaurant, she informed us that this was only for guests who stay more than a week. We explained that we didn't enjoy the food in the buffet. She rolled her eyes and then called the chef and said we were complaining (we were not). The chef was lovely and booked us into the green and grill for the next evening. When booking the holiday we were not made aware of the climate tax. Neither was it mentioned on arrival at the hotel. We had a note left on our room door informing us that we needed to pay the additional cost. We felt that this could have been something mentioned on arrival rather than a note left at the end of our stay. What started off as a promising mini break, left both myself and friend feeling let down and disappoint. Overall, I would not consider it as a 5 star hotel.
