Venezia Resort

Amazing atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience and resort for me and my daughter . The animation team was brilliant- Rio was always getting everyone in the vibe and joining in activities. Maria from the bottom bar at the big pool was amazing- my little girl was being a little fussy in the drinks Maria made her ‘a special one’ and wallah my daughter loved it and spent the next seven days asking for the special drink so thank you very much, saved my little girl when her goggles went missing and gifted her another pair and my little girl was back smiling- again Thank you so much Maria for always being polite, welcoming and serving with a smile on your face daily- you really are a sweet kind lovely lady and are a credit to Venezia. Staff in restaurant very quick and helpful and polite however when i was going up to help my little girl get her food as it was just myself and her i found a couple times on returning to the table my plate of food had been thrown ( understandable they may have thought i was finished but as a single mum juggling eating and an active seven year old we all know as a mum it’s the children first. However please don’t let this knock how polite and lovely the staff was) Hotel grounds VERY clean daily- Rooms standard clean however i felt like by looking at the floor that it was not swept/mopped for the full week. Noise level i found was minimal after 11.20pm which is not bad at all! Hear more from people coming back knocking on doors. Area around hotel is a little out of the way atleast 15/20 min walk to the bottom of the hill. Back up is not fun at all in 40 degrees but not the worst thing in the world! Shop on site 24/7 and this was brilliant as me and my little girl love a late night snack so fantastic for us- however the access to kinder eggs i thought my girl was about to turn into one haha! Bathroom was okay but i found the water overflowing out made the risk of a fall very high- however all in all standard bathroom. Check in- out. Polite reception staff always to hand ready to book taxi, help with advice on busses etc. taken to our room in arrival and helped up the steps as two heavy cases and a child alone wasn’t the easiest so thank you very much for that!

Arrival was excellent, we arrived about 11pm and check in was smooth, reception was clean, the staff were very welcoming. He even walked us to the bar and told them to give us a welcome drink even though the All Inc cut off time had passed. Our room was a standard room, the view was towards the bay and the sea, the room facilities were more than adequate, the air conditioning was so good we had to turn if off overnight The staff here were AMAZING, They work so so hard, the cleaners, the bar staff and especially the main restaurant staff, always happy, always polite. The pools were large, there was never a fight for sunbeds, they were always available. The water temperature was perfect. The location was great, only €10 to Faliraki centre. Biggest thumbs up goes to the adults only pool and bar, what an amazing, beautiful little retreat, albeit unecesarily loud music, gentle, serene music would be super nice. Thumbs down, why oh why do the pools close at 6pm, what a let down, this is far far too early, and really impacts people's day when the sun is still up for another 2 hours. Anyway staying here please do make the effort to walk up to the amazing white chapel, a man is still painting the incredible interior, all by hand. But overall, thank you Venezia, we had a fantastic stay. Oh nearly forget, your reception staff are super helpful, always polite and smiling, they deserve recognition X

My partner and I had a wonderful stay and we would definitely visit again. Perfect location, very peaceful and out the way of the hustle and bustle but only a 30 minute walk into Faliraki to the beach. The entertainment team were great fun and full of energy, we loved joining in. The room was smaller than expected but the balcony was a good size. We were extremely happy with the cleanliness of the room as well as the entirety of the hotel. The staff were constantly keeping on top of any mess or spillages on the floor, putting any rubbish in the bin and collecting drinks around the pool. A special mention to Maria and Alteo who were so lovely to talk to and always accommodating our needs. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming and the 24 hour shop and service they provided was very much appreciated! We particularly loved our day spent at the Marrakech Oasis for the pool party they hosted. The DJ was amazing!! The food was of a good standard at the buffet and the staff in the restaurant made sure to clear any empty plates almost straight away. We would highly recommend, this is somewhere for all types of people, families, friends and couple too. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Just got back from a 9 day holiday with my husband, mother in law, daughter, her partner and their 6 month old baby. We had such a great time. The staff at this resort deserve a pay rise, they are always so friendly and smiling. Every day at breakfast, lunch and dinner the restaurant staff would greet us and always make an effort to speak to our granddaughter and get her to smile. Their interactions with each other and their manager also came across as a really great working relationship. The staff at the cosmopolitan bar were amazing, with a big shout out to Maria and Ann who kept us hydrated with their delicious cocktails. They work long hours and yet still were super friendly and attentive. The snack bar food is the best we have ever had at an all inclusive and if I could have taken home 10 gyros in my suitcase, I would have. The pool areas were not packed and plenty of sunbeds. The small waterpark is a great added touch and the children loved playing down there as well as the adults enjoying the slides (watch out for those small slides that you don’t think are going to be fast-haha). There is a free shuttle that takes you back and forth to Faliraki town a few times a day. There is also a bus stop right by the hotel that takes you direct to Rhodes town (€2.50 each way). We did the water taxi to Rhodes from the harbour with Faliraki sealines (€10 one way/€18 return) and also the day out to Symi with a swim stop. We hired a car for one day from Glam travel in the town and drove to Lindos, had lunch in Haliraki and then when to Tsambiki beach. This was a 7 seater with a baby car seat for €70. Altogether we had an amazing time, would highly recommend and will hopefully return one day in the future.

Rio is one of the animation/entertainment staff and he’s made our first visit to rhodes very special, he’s really funny and made us join in with the pool games which was one of the best things about this holiday, i would definitely come back just because rio made the holiday 10x better
