We’ve just come back from a weeks holiday staying at this hotel. This is an honest review and from our own experience. Upon arrival, thought reception was small but had air con, was clean and gave us food from our late night flight. We stayed in a two bedroom, family room. Spacious and clean but very dated and beds weren’t comfortable.! The only negatives were the tea/coffee wasn’t topped up during the week after requesting and our balcony faced the restaurant. 10/10 for space and location. Would stay in the room again. There is one main pool by the cosmopolitan bar, this gets very busy but no sunbed wars. They keep gates closed until 10am to ensure the area is spotless and beds are clean etc. 10/10 for the pool bar and the entertainment throughout the day. The other pool we didn’t use as this was mainly older children and was deeper than the main. The ‘water park’ is three slides, they open at 11. Went down them one on the first day. The food quality was really good and locally sourced/produced. Overall; this is a family friendly, mid range hotel suitable for all ages. I wouldn’t say it was 4* maybe a 3* hotel.

We went here for a family wedding at 25 of us stayed here. Nearly all staff were wonderful and memorable for all the right reasons and would go out of their way to make our stay special. Rooms were spotless and cleaners were lovely, they even made a special display for friends eedding dress on the wedding morning. The different options of pools and activities were great however was a shame that the water slides were always on and only 2 on at a time. Adults only area was delightful and worth paying for the cocktails there. The food selection was varied and suited everyone. Well labelled and fresh. The snack bars were fantastic and staff constantly making food to order. The free bus down and back uo to falaraki was extremly useful and hotel rexeption helped organise taxis and restaurant bookings. Beds comfy and clean, limited storage space in some rooms. The shop onsite was very reasonable and sold a wide selection. Our only issue was the athena restaurant and the manager of that- he kept booking us a meal there on dates we had already left then told us we dint have a boiking and changed the menu on us - ruined what could have been a lovely meal. Highly recommend this hotel as it has a mix of everything and handy to explore Rhodes.

The only reason this review isn’t one star is because of the staff. Every single member of staff we interacted with was kind, welcoming, professional and genuinely wanted to help. When we explained our concerns about the food, they took us seriously and even offered us another evening in the à la carte restaurant in an attempt to improve our experience. We were incredibly grateful for their efforts, but unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing. Even the two couples in neighbouring rooms told us to avoid the à la carte restaurant, as they had left after their first course to go out for food. I had booked the hotel seeing that they get fresh vegetables and bakery goods from their own local businesses, leading me to believe that the food would be fresh, flavoursome and enjoyable. However, the food quality throughout our stay was unacceptable. On multiple occasions, the meat was full of gristle, excessive fat and bones, making it unpleasant and, at times, inedible. The bread was clearly not fresh, and many dishes looked as though they had been sitting out for too long. The choice was also quite limited compared to other all-inclusive buffets, meaning the same poor-quality food was repeated. For an all-inclusive hotel, this was hugely disappointing and nowhere near the four star standard we expected. We found ourselves struggling to find anything enjoyable to eat, despite having paid for all-inclusive catering. We left meals hungry because there simply wasn’t enough that was appetising. The staff deserve every bit of praise for trying to put things right, and they should be recognised for their excellent customer service, especially Virginia, who consistently checked on us, she was amazing! However, no amount of outstanding service can make up for consistently poor-quality food. Until the hotel significantly improves the standard, freshness and variety of its food, I would struggle to recommend staying here on an all-inclusive basis.
