Venezia Resort

me and my boyfriend visited venezia for 10 days, nothing but good things to say, from the reception staff to animation and bar staff anne and shelia were exceptional. will have to exceptionally praise (rio, pedros, maria and the staff) room was cleaned every day. anything you request was given. if your looking for hotel for good family entertainment and just good vibes hotel overall this is the place! already planning to book our next stay! and recommend to all my family, good luck to everyone. thanks for an amazing first holiday as a couple!

Well what can I say, we travel a massive amount and as a last min girls trip booked through easy jet, I was skeptical, there was no need, any small issues were lack of communication on easy jets part not the Venezia, easy jet had not notified them of our room preference and still regardless of this and my travel grumpy they went above and beyond to fix it, the reception staff are all fantastic they give a very comprehensive check in and make sure you are aware of all they have to offer onsite, they are friendly, calm and always ready to make sure your holiday is the best it can be, they run a free bus to the beach, we did not use but we so lots of people using it , towns on either side of the resort about a 20 min walk, very pleasant if you like to wander, there is a supermarket on site (I saw reviews saying it’s pricey, not at all exactly what I expected reasonable enough) which has a wide range of all you could need, snacks, floats and pool accessorises , personal hygiene, alcohol, suncream, souvenirs and lots to keep the kids amused and for anything the shop did not have for instance we needed water shoes for the water park, there is a conveniently located supermarket at the bottom of the hill 5/10 min walk, which has some clothing, swimwear water shoes ect, our room was pleasant although a little small for two people, views off the sun rising from the balcony were stunning, but they do have lots of options easyJet does not offer and I would book directly with the Venezia next time, with our room we had a hot tub suite and just wow, it was amazing, easy jet sell ot as being attached to your room like the Hardrock ones, it’s not but it did not make a difference at all we came out of our room walked up a flight of stairs and it was there, in my line of work I don’t get to stop I had deadlines and the hot tub suite provided a perfect haven to work early morning in a beautiful spacious setting while my daughter slept and meant I did not disturb her and it was also the perfect place to chill in the hot tub at night, there is a toilet shower fridge ect up there and as wee found great place to store the floats with lovely views of the little white church on the hill, the food was fantastic, a different theme in the Buffett every night , including Asian and a Sunday roast, my only small niggle was my daughter has some severe allergies and the hotel do have the food clearly marked but the contamination was a problem, other holiday makers just using any utensils to take and although for breakfast and mains she had a good choice , she was sad that there were puddings she could eat but because people used the wrong utensils she never got to try any because the jelly utensils had been used for cake so she had to stay well clear, holiday makers should have a little more thought and staff could be a little more vigilant so that everyone gets to enjoy safely, but rewardless the buffet staff were pleasant, helpful and always cleaning, it was my birthday while here and the hotel brought up a birthday cake with a lovely note, I think it was the restaurant manager (I didint catch his name ) but it was a special touch and made my day and let me tell you it was the best cake I have ever eaten. The water park was fantastic, the pools are beautiful and the snack choices were fab The same as any other resort the sun lounger wars are very real and you have to be straight down with your towel before breakfast to get a good spot or a sun lounger at all but as seasoned travellers we knew this , the cosmopolitan bar serves a fab range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails and MARIA is such a pleasure to chat to, she makes the best cocktails and she really makes your days bright , her young assistant is fab and always working hard to keep the place clean and tidy The entertainment was fab RIo and Pedro are on it day and night, they bring a range of fun activities for all ages , lots and lots of laughs and energy and keep the holiday spirit going throughout, there is something for everyone and let’s be honest nobody is going to be upset with those two round a pair of very handsome blokes who make you feel young again and extremely talented , from various shows ect I saw them do but most of all I wanted to give these two a shout out because they work tirelessly to keep the holiday spirit and are always smiling laughing and keeping you on your toes and great with all the kids Ignore any negative reviews you see on this place they are just not true It’s beautiful, welcoming and an amazing atmosphere as well as sparkling clean, there are lots of things to do outwith but frankly if you just want to relax there is no need to leave the resort the whole week they have everything you need We are filming a project out in Rhodes hopefully next year and I would even go as far as to say , I added this resort to the list of possible locations because it is so beautiful Thank you to all Sarah and Scarlett

beautiful hotel. great restaurants and pool facilities, especially the Marrakesh area! all pool and eating areas, walkways, and bars looked very clean at all times. the buffet in the main Venus Restaurant was varied and always well presented. meals at the other restaurants such as the Azur and Athena Restaurant were complimentary once during our stay which we thought was very generous. our room was modern and spacious, with a balcony & stunning view. however air conditioning would only run when your key card was inserted, which meant after a long hot day, you’d get back to your room and it would be quite warm. once the aircon started running it would take around 30-40 minutes for the whole room to cool. front desk staff were always extremely helpful and kind. same goes to restaurant staff. however, we found that one member of entertainment team, Rio, was overly familiar with young female guests. we were travelling as two women and he made us feel uncomfortable. on one occasion he made us write a trip advisor review with a selfie of him with us while he was hovering over us. we also found he’d linger around/dance on other female guests. on the subject, we felt the evening entertainment was low effort. any enjoyable entertainment by the main team such as face painting, game room, caricatures or bingo came at an extra charge, or they would just play ai youtube music compilations on a projector. we did enjoy the nights when external entertainment, such as greek dancers and musicians, came to the hotel. p.s a big thanks to the little grey cat that would linger around the Cosmopolitan Bar & always take a pet!

First of all the hotel itself is amazing. Absolutely spotless all over the resort. The staff are lovely. Seemed to be a lot of Thai staff who were absolutely brilliant. Few exceptions would be one of the women at the snack bar. Always miserable. And one of the entertainment team. Saw him shouting at a little kid for accidentally going in the staff toilets. Really rude person. It’s the guy with the shorter bleached top hair. The restaurant was great, immaculate and the staff were brilliant. The food although lovely became repetitive and boring. Breakfast is exactly the same every single day. Dinner and tea are 90% the exact same with the small exception of a few trays which changed for the restaurant theme each evening. The room itself was nice and spacious. Cleaned daily. We got 1 bottle of complementary water between 4 of us in our fridge for the whole week. Shuttle bus from the hotel runs 5 times per day which was great to get into faliraki. Only takes a few minutes and saves a 20 minute walk down hill if you’re unable. We walked most of the time though. This was our 2nd time in 2 years visiting Rhodes and although the area itself is much better than where we stayed last time, I think the food and entertainment teams at the Sol Cosmopolitan in Ixia were far superior. As was the air con. Which barely worked in our room. Enjoyed our stay but would likely go somewhere else if we returned to Rhodes.

Wow what an amazing hotel, staff where all very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel itself was immaculate ans you could see the staff cleaning the grounds every morning, the food was very good and the place itself was beautiful
