Came to Zante last year on a quick break after many years away but stayed in a big hotel. I am so glad we chose to go family friendly because this placed ticked the box and shows why we have so often done family friendly all over Greece before. The whole experience says we should have done ten days and we leave having met numerous people whom we have shared a good holiday with. Thank you to the family for being so helpful, respectful and busy at all times to make our time with you such fun. We will be back and will be bringing friends with us next time.

Got off to a good start, Rebecca was very welcoming and because of our anniversary upgraded our room to one with a internal jacuzzi and free A/C ( saving us £10 per day) sadly things went downhill from there. We were half board so committed to eating the in house menu which was fixed for the duration of our week stay. Not everything was to our taste so ended up repeating meals through the week.. breakfast food was adequate. There was two special nights a Greek night and an Italian night, Greek night was good with a good selection of food and traditional dancing by staff which was entertaining. The Italian night should have been called a pizza night as there was no pasta available which because of the limited regular menu choice we were looking forward to so we were very surprised at this, and compounded disappointed to see my pizza arrive burnt. Lovely gem in kalamaki beautiful family run buisness never had a larger room separated bedroom stayed at lots of places in kalamaki over the years. Breakfast is first class lots of fresh food to choose from if your looking for a true Greek hotel this is the one. Bit of a walk to the strip but that's not always a bad thing and a taxi is 10 euros. What can I say but a 10/10 stay. Amazing place to stay, we booked for a week during the school holidays as a coupe and found this little gem at an amazing price with easyJet. We were fortunate to get upgraded on arrival, we were given room 403 which is a little stand alone bungalow and WOW. Comfortable bed, spacious and a lovely outside area. We told the staff on leaving all it needed were some drawers for clothes and British Chanels on the tv, but that’s me being picky. BREAKFAST. The choice was great, lots of traditional Greek food, good choice of juices, coffees and teas. The bread selection is huge, fresh yogurts, fruits and cereals each day, full English breakfast food also available if you wanted it, the fried eggs were not kept in a warmer so sometimes they could be like warm but that never bothered us. THE POOL AND LUNCH the pool area was great, the sun was on it from 0800-2000, the loungers were very comfortable, pool clean and very refreshing when you went it, drinks by the pool were available, €3 to € 5 for soft drinks to a large beer. A good choice of lunch items. We’re had tzatziki and pitta with fries to share and that was enough for us and it was very nice, the toastie was only €4 and again really nice. EVENING MEAL. We only had one evening meal which was on the first night, again it was really nice and we highly recommend it, when we go abroad we like to explore and eat in different places so that’s the only reason we didn’t eat their more often. LOCATION. It’s out of the way which gives it the peace and tranquility that makes this a very relaxing Greek holiday, a small old supermarket with the friendliest couple nearby for some items for your room, a 20-25 minute walk to the centre of Kalamaki which is not bad, no more than €10 for a taxi if you don’t fancy walking. We did the land train to Zante town which was very good and walked into Lagana which was a pleasant walk. We also spent time at the airport pub (highly recommended) especially if you like planes. Overall outstanding holiday.
