The Hotel in the brochure looked really modern and up to date, but in reality it was tired both inside, and, outside in appearance. Because our room was not ready for us we were given a "upgrade . The room itself was spacious with minimum furniture. The shower really was terrible! a wet room, that was tiny and included a very dated "shower". So no idea what condition the room we should have had would have been like. There was a total lack of comfy seating to sit and have quiet drink and chat, and the inside bar closed at 9-30pm, the good points are the food was very good and the staff were exceptional.

Location is excellent, rooms good but the wet room bathroom isnt great, you need really long legs to sit on the wall mounted toilet and if you dont move the toilet roll its getting wet while showering which necessitates far more towel use to dry the floor. Its kept really clean, you can hear other guests using the bathroom in the night. Its the start of the season so you expect some interuptions but they need to attend to the pool quicker. Lots of guest have complained and people have looked at it, especially Basil and Manuell (Names changed) which is actually entertaining if you dont want to swim. The owners can move it up a gear when they want to which coincidentally was the day before an inspection. Evening entertainment is what you would expect, budget friendly 🤔. There are signs of budget decisions with the food which the cooks have done a wonderful job with. Cheap cereals, cheap cheeses, and the local wine isnt fit to cook with. The holiday has been lovely mainly down to the locatoon and company.

Lovely, quirky family-run hotel. Positioned a short walk away from the centre of Laganas (which is more suited to 18-30 clientele) the Castelli Hotel is a tranquil oasis of calm. Lots of positives…very friendly welcome, spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable beds, great air con, clean towels daily, the dining room was really lovely, with louvered shutters and a good range of delicious, freshly cooked food (including vegetarian/vegan although not everything was labelled) Apart from fruit, which was plentiful, no non-dairy puddings - a sorbet would’ve been great. The all-inclusive drinks were plentiful (spirits were very generously poured!) The snack bar was well stocked (although not much choice if vegetarian/vegan) Additional crisps/nuts could be added to your room tab, not included. Some minor disappointments- the red wine was very poor quality, (we found a local supermarket which had a good range- so bought some for the room) on occasion, there were insufficient sun beds around the pool (although plenty in the garden area) The hotel is quite small, but the addition of an annexe with 20+ rooms has put pressure on space around the pool/dining room. The most disappointing aspect was the cleanliness of the swimming pool. Although the swim-up rooms appeared to be cleaned daily, there was an apparent reluctance to maintain the main pool to the same standard. It didn’t stop us using it, but it was such a shame- particularly as the tiled pool terrace was cleaned daily as the sun beds are swapped for tables & chairs every evening.

Lovely hotel, amazing food, good location 10 mins walk to laganas and local beaches. Staff were really helpful. The room was lovely and very clean. Beds very comfy. Would go back.
