Castelli was a beautiful experience. The hotel location is great, as you have the craziness of Laganas in one direction a short walk away, and a quiet beautiful beach 5 mins in the other direction. The entertainment was interesting and varied in the evenings, whilst Delphine, the entertainment organiser was excellent, I did Pilates in the olive groves most mornings, water aerobics, and we joined her for a walk to see the turtles, she even taught me how to weave! Husband and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

Perfect location. Close enough to walk into Laganas without the party disturbance. Close to restaurants, bars, beaches, Cameo island and the harbour. A warm and friendly hotel. Where nothing is too much trouble for the hard working Reception staff. Truly your home from home. Adults only hotel. Normally couples. But be aware during high season there is a high percentage of younger "party people" who can cause disturbance if you are looking for peace and quiet. Rooms are roomy, plenty of hanging space. Maybe a little more drawer space would be useful. Bathrooms are compact wet rooms. We have no issues with this but some do. Everywhere is spotless. Keeping with the green ethos, towels are changed on request. Hung on the door, use again. On the floor, towels changed. Bedding changed weekly, unless requested. Pool towels are available on request. Small pool area with plenty of sunbeds. However this year we experienced " towel gate". People putting towels on beds then leaving for 3 or 4 hours. Not really respecting other guests. Breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks. Amazing choice and plentiful. Bars are staffed by amazing people. Happy to serve you drinks and again the choice is very good. Value for money. 10/10. In our view this hotel rates Excellent. A true family hotel with exceptional staff. Special thanks to Mr Spiros, Irene, Fotini and all the amazing team for their hard work. Quiet location.. 15 minutes walk to the strip of Laganas. Relaxed atmosphere and chilled vibes. Great for couples of all ages 18 - 90. If you want a party hotel go somewhere else, as loud rude behaviour will not be tolerated. The hotel is run with a family atmosphere. The staff are amazing and do everything they can to make your stay special. The rooms are spotlessly clean and air conditioned. On the small side but adequate. The bathroom is a wet room but dries quickly. The food is very good. I'm fussy but always found something nice to eat. Always a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The entertainment differs to cater for all tastes. The swimming pool area is clean and on our first week there was no rushing to get sunbeds. 2nd week different clientele and a few were taking sunbeds but not using them for hours. But on the whole I would definitely go back and would recommend this lovely little oasis.

Castelli Hotel does deserve a 4 out of 5 stars for rating. A chilled atmosphere for adults whom are not in Zante for the party experience. Great food for an all inclusive. I have to say we were very disappointed with our standard double room upon first arrival, it was small which didn’t allow us to make ourselves at home. However when talking to the receptionist, they were more than happy to upgrade us with no hassle at all! We were expecting to pay for the upgrade but they were happy to give it to us for free as the space allowed. The superior double room was much better and we were very appreciative of the upgrade. We do feel as if we paid a quite a bit for our holiday, and do wish we received a bit more for the amount we paid. However we do appreciate the great entertainment, fantastic members of staff, great food and drink. They also do a raffle with heart shaped wooden pieces which acts as a ticket, where one is pulled out once a week for a prize! As well as at the end of the season, all the tickets are put together and one will be pulled out for a free holiday at the Castelli hotel in the next season! I do believe the pool area is not large enough to accommodate all the guests for the hotel. There are swim up pools available as well as sun beds in the Olive tree meadow, however towards our holiday we found ourselves getting up earlier to ensure we had a bed space next to the pool for the day. Castelli is a green hotel which is great for recycling and disposing of waste in the best way possible. It was great to see appreciation for recycling and the efforts made. The noise level I would rate as quiet in terms of partying etc. However due to the green space around the hotel, you will constantly hear the cicadas! The location is good for a 15 minute walk to the beach, but please note the closest shop is 15 mins away, with bars and restaurants being about 10 mins away. I would come back to the Castelli hotel, if given a better price package for our trip.

This is a small, family run, all-inclusive hotel where from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you feel like a welcome guest. The customer service is unlike any I've experienced elsewhere. Nothing is too much trouble for these lovely people. From the wonderful, efficient reception staff who never stop smiling, to the delightful Delphine running the well-thought out entertainment and activity programme and everyone in between - bar staff, housekeeping and chefs - this place is a little gem. The food was fresh, seasonal and largely Greek style with plenty of choice. One of the few buffets we never tired of, even after a 9 day stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable and peaceful, despite its proximity to the 'strip'. The only downside is its distance from a decent beach, but boat trips and car hire took care of this on the days we wanted to go further afield. The hotel once again organised this superb efficiency and good prices. Highly recommend for an easy, comfortable, peaceful break.
