Stayed here with my wife and 16-year-old daughter from 10th June for 10 nights in room 421. We requested a room at the end of the block so we only had one neighbour, and the balcony offered lovely views of the pool. The hotel has been recently renovated. The rooms are incredibly modern, immaculate, and a much higher standard than what you typically find in the region, so you won’t be disappointed. Since we booked through Jet2, we also had free air conditioning which was brand new and very powerful. There were two brand new TVs with a handy dividing partition between the beds.We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, and for the price we paid, the food choice and quality were excellent. However, the drinks could be improved. The wine wasn't great, and serving it in proper wine glasses rather than regular glasses would be a nice touch! We also used our one free visit to the a la carte restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend it in its current state. The doors were left wide open, meaning we could loudly hear the children's evening entertainment playing "Baby Shark" on repeat, and the drinks were just the standard all-inclusive menu. I’d suggest the management review this, or perhaps partner with a local off-site restaurant where guests can dine out once per stay instead. All the staff—including the bar teams, restaurant staff, and animation team—work incredibly hard and are a real credit to the hotel. That said, the general entertainment needs an upgrade. Bringing in external tribute acts would be a great addition (perhaps funded by allowing non-hotel guests to enter and buy drinks). The Greek Night, however, was absolutely fantastic and really brought everyone together—the best one I've ever experienced. Jack on the animation team is brilliant, but management should support him by getting a proper, new karaoke machine! On the downside, doing bingo every night gets a bit tedious, so I'd love to see a bit more variety here.Outside the hotel, the Makai Resto Bar is amazing, just a short walk away, and has the best beach and sunbeds in Tsilivi. We did kayaking there and watched a beautiful sunset. Paradise Bar is also highly recommended; we watched the England vs. Croatia match there and enjoyed a great Elvis tribute act—it's a very friendly, fun place. Please ignore the overly negative reviews on here. If you keep your expectations realistic for the price point, you will see that this hotel is top-tier. I rarely say I would return to the same hotel, but I would absolutely stay here again. If they tweak the entertainment and the wine, it would be absolutely perfect!
Me and my partner have just returned after a 10 day stay at Karras grande and we really loved it! Exceptionally clean hotel in a convenient location and the staff are fantastic! The food is okay , but you could always find something to eat! There was variety and lots for picky eaters etc, the staff in the restaurant work very hard making sure fresh food is bought out and will always take your plates when finished. The pool bars also provide snacks throughout the day and ice cream (recommend the strawberry and banana ice cream it’s unbelievable) Thomas at the pool bar is a credit to this hotel and you’d always see him having a boogie to the songs throughout the day! I also recommend the iced coffees. There’s a good selection of cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks The entertainment staff were the highlight of our holiday , Jack and isa were fantastic and would always make the days very enjoyable, water polo and darts were our personal faves! Bingo nights, quiz nights and karaoke on the evening were also very fun! Jack is a credit to this hotel, he was very personable and made the effort to interact with people and make them laugh. The rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels are provided, our cleaner Sophia was lovely and would always say hello. Overall this hotel is great for families, couples etc and I would recommend to anyone. It’s a great location, near lots of shops and bars and a 2 min walk to the beach. Whether you want a relax or a party holiday this fits both.
Ignore negative reviews, ask for a room in newer block with a shower, lovely modern room, choice of pools great, animation team fantastic, food not so good but you get what you pay for, value for money. Spotlessly clean throughout. Location excellent, close to all bars and also beach. Would definitely book again, thanks for a memorable stay.
Just returned from a fantastic holiday in this hotel and we've had a great time, the food was just OK but the service and staff certainly made up for it from reception to maid service, restaurant and bar especially Marinos who was excellent. It was our first time in Zante for 25 years but would definitely return.
Just got back from a week’s stay with my husband, we’ve loved it so much we are already booking back up to bring our children back next month for another stay. Fantastic hotel, location is perfect, hotel is spotless, the most helpful and friendly staff. Food is good, it isn’t amazing but there’s plenty of choice. Animation team work so hard, Jack is great, always making us enjoy the water games! The bartender round the central pool was also fab, always greeted with a smile. Can’t wait to return. Thanks for a lovely stay.
