Karras Grande Resort

Stayed September, third time staying at the hotel, the rooms have been refurbished, room is clean, the beds are comfy & the cleaners are friendly, if you needed anything for the room they were helpful. Found staff around the pool or in the restaurant miserable, Marino & Mike were friendly, briefly chatted as the were busy serving, they remembered us from our last visits. Pool snacks & drinks are available around the pool. The restaurant food was lukewarm, found the food over cooked, food samey, last time we went to the hotel they did a Greek night & had Greek dancers. Drinks are not very good, drank mostly local drinkable larger, as the local spirits were very week. The bad side rain storms caused flooding in the restaurant, the floor was full of runing water, which I found dangerous, i heard that the resturant so bad in the afternoon it was closed, the evening wasn't any better, the flooding was very bad, which unfortunately couldn't be helped, staff trying stop it flooding in but unable. Pool snacks are available outside, but because weather was so bad no snacks were offered in the main part of the hotel only a drinks bar, the rain was too bad to go out, they had other kitchen facilities at the back of the pool bar were they could of offered food. Entertainment needs improvement.

I really feel like I need to write a review in response to every negative review I chose to ignore the first time round…. I’m so glad I did, we’ve been to many places over the last 20 years, this without doubt has been one of the most accommodating, pleasant stays I have had the pleasure of spending my hard earned money on. The cold evenings in the middle of October is something we expected, be sure to bring warm clothes, although the days have been very pleasant. A special mention for us has to go to the restaurant manager Stella. I’m not sure she ever sleeps!! Her standards are high for the good of the guests. She’s made us feel welcome, she chatted to us at appropriate times whilst having, breakfast dinner and tea… She taught us about Athens, but more importantly the sweet spots whilst here which has truly made our holiday. She even bought our son a gift to take home which was obviously time she has taken out of her day to buy, which was an absolute topping for us Thank you Stella, you’ve made our holiday and we will be back for sure, even if it is just to say hi to you Thank you x x x ❤️❤️❤️xxx

Stayed here at the back end of September. There was a problem with a leak in the bathroom but we got moved to another room no problem. Hotel was clean and tidy with a choice of 2 pools. Food was better than I was expecting from a buffet although we only ate breakfast and lunch so cannot comment on evening meals. Big shout out to Marinos in the bar and Anduela also in the bar and restaurant. Both lovely people and always there with a smile and a joke to brighten up an otherwise damp holiday getaway.

We have had a fantastic holiday at Karras Grande, Our room was superb,very spacious and modern with lots of storage space,a large bathroom with a very large shower,rooms were cleaned every day, The all inclusive drinks were good too,we had breakfast and lunch and lots of choice,the cheeses and salads were the best we have had in any hotel restaurant, All in all a lovely stay,couldn’t fault the hotel/staff/food and our room, Thank you Steve and Jane

The worst holiday we have ever had Torrential rain caused the hotel to flood but nobody was cleaning up and the restaurant was still open even though there was 3 inches of water ! The management didn’t take any responsibility and just left the staff to wade through the water ! We also had to rescue a couple from the lift that had broken down … told the receptionist and they did nothing!! They then gave them our hotel room !! As well as running out of food towards the end of the week there was no hot water !!!
