Karras Grande Resort

We’ve just returned from a truly fantastic stay at the Karras Grande. The staff and service were excellent. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, and Jacks the entertainer made sure we had fun throughout our stay without being overbearing, which can sometimes be the case at other hotels. We couldn’t fault anyone. The bar staff were great, the restaurant staff were efficient and polite, and the cleaners were brilliant. The food and drinks were good, and our blended family of seven always found something they liked at mealtimes. Some of the criticism in other reviews is unfair. When you book an all-inclusive package, it’s not going to be Michelin-star food, but that’s what some people seem to expect. We certainly couldn’t fault it. The two pieces of feedback I would give are that the sun loungers aren’t the most comfortable in the world, and the suggestion of cushions, which I’ve seen elsewhere, seems sensible. The showers can also be a bit temperamental when finding the right temperature, but it wasn’t enough to really bother us. The hotel has three pools of varying sizes, which the kids absolutely loved, and the main one is quite large. We even managed to get some good swimming in to burn off the calories! This was one of the best holidays we’ve had, and staying at the Karras Grande was a big part of that. We would definitely return.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, and we couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable and memorable holiday. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable and well-maintained, with excellent facilities and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests were happy and comfortable. The food was delicious but not much varieties, the hospitality was outstanding, and the overall service was second to none. Every aspect of our stay reflected a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. A massive thank you to the entire management and staff for making our stay so relaxing, pleasant and memorable. Especially Olga the receptionist who was most kind and pleasant to us all through our stay I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality hospitality and a wonderful holiday experience. Spent a fabulous 10 days here. Brilliant find and a great base for other activities as well as staying at the hotel. Never any issue for sunbeds, but we stayed round by the smaller pool as it was quieter- sunbathers rather than activities kinda feel. Met some amazing people that made our holiday. All the staff were wonderful. The food was ok, I would expect more, but there was only 1 night that we felt the food was awful and we went out to eat! Would defo come back!

A Wonderful Stay at Karras Hotel – Highly Recommended! We stayed at Karras Hotel as a group of seven from 10th to 17th October. We had a few concerns before arriving due to some of the reviews, particularly those about the food, but we were pleasantly surprised and had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with something different every day and a great variety of dishes to choose from. We were honestly shocked to see some English guests walking around the buffet with unhappy faces, only to end up with plates full of chips and bread. I think if you’re not willing to try new flavours and experience the local cuisine, perhaps travelling abroad isn’t for you! It’s unfair to leave such hurtful reviews about a hotel when you’re not even willing to give the food a proper chance. The entertainment team was absolutely fantastic! There was yoga during the day, water polo in the pool, and evening activities such as bingo, movie song quizzes and much more. Jack and Pati were absolutely amazing – full of positive energy, enthusiasm and genuine commitment. They made our holiday so much more enjoyable, and we became really good friends with them. They are wonderful people who clearly love what they do! A special mention also goes to Marinos at the bar, who was such a lovely, friendly and approachable person. Always happy to chat and make you feel welcome. We would also like to thank Sofia from the housekeeping team. She was incredibly kind, hardworking and always had a smile on her face. The ladies at reception were equally fantastic – always helpful, friendly and ready to assist whenever we needed anything. The hotel itself is well maintained, and the rooms are of a high standard. Our only minor complaint was the water pressure in the shower, as it was sometimes difficult to maintain a consistent temperature with comfortably warm water. Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and are so happy we chose Karras Hotel. The friendly staff, delicious food and excellent entertainment made our stay truly memorable. We would happily return to Karras Hotel and highly recommend it! Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so special. ❤️

Love this place! Would come again defo. Not only is it in a beautiful island, with great views on the beaches. But also the staff - really nice! The food - really nice! And free :3 Also a really cute cat who is there every day!!
