Currently staying at the aqua bay hotel. good hotel but not 5 star...the tourist tax was a shock over 200 euros as we have two rooms for 4 people. Water park and snack bar good food,entertainment not great..we have noisy neighbours so making the best of it... a few issues we have , my son has a sickness bug not sure why.. possibly the water, also the fizzy drinks are all flat! No ice cream in all inclusive! Sadly told today we can't keep either of our rooms as a late check out which we booked and paid for in uk..if we'd have know would have to move anyway we'd have used their facilities and saved 75 quid! So in summing up good hotel but a solid 4 star...and information needs to be more freely available..

Just returned from the Aqua Bay Hotel, I travelled with my 13 year old daughter and 16 year old son. I shared the double with my daughter, leaving my son with the sofa bed. PROS Lovely hotel, clean, clean towels if required twice a day, sunbed towels provided, amazing shower! Good hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers in rooms, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion provided and very nice, good range of food, always something to fill your plate with, and I'm vegetarian, loads of sunbeds!!!! which was a treat. And a massive bonus... not one mosquito bite!!! CONS The sofa bed was very hard, the mattress was only an inch thick, so it was not suitable for my adult sized teenager. We asked for an extra duvet, which helped pad it out a bit. The pools were very chilly, which was disappointing as we normally spend a lot of time in the pools, but I guess it's a little early in the season and they haven't warmed up yet. The walk to the main area of bars and restaurants was a good 20-minute walk, so a little further than expected. We did find it a little strange that the wave pool only operated for 15 minutes a day, even during half-term, and some of the slides were only open at certain times. Lastly, there are no ice-creams included in the All inclusive available at the water park; they are only available for a little while in the afternoon at the main restaurant. Overall, a lovely holiday and we would return at the right price ;-)

What can I say, amazing! This was our first family holiday with an infant and a toddler and I am also disabled using an electric wheelchair. This was also our first time in Greece. The hotel was very accessible, there are wooden ramps from the main bar/restaurant area to access the rooms and water park. There are lifts to get up to the second level and there is space to move around the restaurant and find a table with no problem. The staff were absolutely amazing, from the day we arrived we were greeted by every staff member we passed on the way to our room with smiles. They were all very friendly and the children absolutely loved how much they interacted with them whilst eating in the restaurant and when we’re sitting at the bar by the pools. Special thank you to Roi, Klea, Vasiliki, Xristina and Natasha - they went over and above to make our stay enjoyable, from remembering our drinks from the first time to helping me with getting my food every day in the restaurant and keeping us all smiling. From the moment you sit down in the restaurant or in the evening entertainment, the staff are quick to come over to ask for your drinks, keep the table clear of finished plates and just generally the best service. The food was always warm, a good selection at each time of day and different each day too. There was always something for everyone and the Greek dishes were very tasty. There are plenty of spaces to sit, whether you want to sit inside or outside and we never had any issue finding a table. There were enough high chairs that we were able to get one every time. The hotel was very clean, the pool guy was out every morning making sure all the leaves and bugs were removed and room service was as frequent as you need it, we had no issues. The pools were not very busy, the three down near our room (229) only ever had 2-3 people at most and we found that the water was quite cold but still enjoyable enough. The two pools near the bar had the most people around on sun loungers but again few people actually in the water. We went to the beach just down the road, about a 10-15 min walk, which was accessible with a wooden ramp straight onto the sandy beach. It was not overly crowded and it was very clean with access to sun loungers if you want to pay for them. Shops are within this same distance with access to supermarkets and souvenir shops are plentiful. The pavements can be difficult with a wheelchair, with some very steep incline/declines or just missing and end with a large drop. This was not too much of an issue though, it just meant I had to go into the road on occasion but it never felt dangerous. Overall the holiday was perfect! I would definitely recommend, I’m sure if you’re being picky you could find problems but for an all inclusive resort with our needs it had everything we needed. I’m sure we will be back next year! Our last day at Aqua Bay and it’s been a great week, Food is plentiful and good quality, always been something that everyone can eat. Rooms are clean and spacious and we were lucky to have a pool right outside the door. We arrived at 11.30 at night and we had hot food kept back for us and they kept the bar open for us. Few niggles about the Waterpark - Wave machine was not in use nor was the kids park, Entertainment was good and the extra restaurants included in the package were open twice a week, definitely recommend Elia by the waterpark - Food was stunning !!! Staff… what can I say, Amazing, so friendly and smiling, huge thanks to Denis, Roi and Wendy in the main bar, fantastic and so welcoming, they remembered our drinks and names and helped recommend anything we asked with honesty. Honestly the best staff we have had in our TUI hotels… Yammas guys your all fantastic x

Good overall 1 week experience at the hotel-towards end of season. Reception easy check in and out. Very quick to sort any question or problem. The hotel is in good clean condition room we had had no issues. We found all the included drinks ok. Main restaurant clean and staff managed by Dora good. food is always plentiful but needs a little variation feel maybe after 2 weeks would be stalled. But there is also free evening bookable babi night, A La carte at Italian and Elia mixed menu on the waterpark. there is also Crepes and snack bar (burgers) through the day so in all not bad on the A/I food. Attached waterpark should keep all ages happy. Only downside is adult evening entertainment.
