What a great hotel. Warm friendly greeting at reception. Comfortable beds with kettle and fridge air con and balcony overlooking pool. Plenty of sun loungers. The whole hotel was very clean. Buffet style restaurant with a good variety and very good standard. Short walk to the sea. Lovely pool and great evening entertainment.

SUNEO Tsilivi Admiral Review Check-In & Rooms We arrived at reception and were welcomed by fantastic staff with bright, smiling faces and delicious welcome drinks. Check-in was fast and smooth, and we were then taken to our room. We stayed in C402, which is in one of the newly renovated blocks on the 4th floor. It overlooks the quieter pool and is away from the noise and busyness of the main areas. The bathroom was very clean, with a rainfall shower and a separate shower head for those of us ladies who don’t like getting our hair wet! 🤣 There was a hairdryer in the room, and the safe was included in the price. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked extremely well, and there was plenty of wardrobe space. I didn’t use the TV, so can’t comment on that. The balcony was tidy and included a drying rack, table, and chairs. One thing worth noting is that the balconies connect externally, meaning there is very little privacy. It also raises questions about how easily someone could access neighbouring balconies if they wished. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay and was reliable in both the room and the communal areas. We tipped the cleaners daily, and they did a brilliant job keeping the room spotless throughout our stay. Pool Areas The pool areas are cleaned thoroughly every morning, and the pools are vacuumed daily. There are two pools. The larger pool is warmer and tends to be busier, with more children and inflatables. The smaller pool is cooler and generally attracts more adults, although it does have the baby pool attached. Interestingly, I only ever saw adults using the baby pool for sunbathing! Some guests do reserve sunbeds early, but even at 10am there were still plenty available. Drinks are available in plastic cups either from the self-service area or the bar, and used cups are collected regularly. There are also toilets conveniently located near both pools. One afternoon there was a saxophone player performing by the pool, which created a lovely atmosphere and was a really nice touch. For me, the only negative aspect of the pool area was that smoking is permitted. As a non-smoker, I found it quite unpleasant, and it’s a shame for children to be exposed to it as well. I’ve stayed in several hotels where smoking wasn’t allowed around the pool areas and found the experience much more enjoyable. Beach & Surrounding Area The beach is around a 4-5 minute walk away and very easy to access. If you walk to the right, you’ll reach a beautiful small harbour. If you walk left and continue for another few minutes, you’ll find a section of the beach with far fewer rocks and pebbles, making it much easier to get in and out of the sea for a swim. We didn’t spend much time on the beach itself, so I can’t comment on sunbeds or facilities there. The location is lovely, with a mini golf course and water park both within walking distance. Pool Bar & Snacks There is a shaded seating area near the bar where you can enjoy food from the pool snack bar. Everything is cooked to order, and the menu offers plenty of choice. The food was consistently tasty, filling, and well prepared. Restaurant & Food The restaurant is lovely. There was always a free table available, it was kept very clean, and plates were cleared quickly and efficiently. The food was divine, and I genuinely cannot compliment the chefs enough. There are options for everyone, including pasta with self-service sauces and toppings, pizzas, plain cooked chicken, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, and more available at every meal. There is also a huge salad bar, a variety of prepared salads, plenty of fresh fruit, and a large selection of breads. Breakfast and lunch options changed daily, while the evening meals featured a rotating selection of meat dishes and local cuisine. There was always plenty of choice. There is also a dedicated gluten-free section available, which is a great addition for guests with dietary requirements. The drinks selection was extensive, and alcoholic drinks are served from the restaurant bar in the evenings. Staff & Service The staff throughout the hotel were phenomenal. My partner mentioned to reception that it was my birthday during our stay. After our evening meal, the staff surprised me with a cake, a sparkler, and prosecco while singing Happy Birthday. I was slightly embarrassed but mostly touched by the effort and enthusiasm they put into making my day special. A special mention also goes to Tamara, the restaurant host. She is a wonderful woman with fantastic knowledge of the local area and was always happy to offer recommendations on places to visit. Evening Entertainment The evening entertainment was varied throughout the week and offered something for all ages. During our stay there were singers, bingo, karaoke, a mini disco for children, dance performances, and even an impressive acrobatic act featuring performers balancing on one another. It wasn’t over-the-top or intrusive, but provided a fun atmosphere for those who wanted to stay around the hotel in the evenings. Accessibility The hotel appears to be very mobility-friendly, with ramps and lifts providing easy access around the site. While I didn’t personally require any accessibility facilities, it seemed well designed for guests with reduced mobility. Spa Facilities Opposite the hotel on the main road is another spa hotel that has an arrangement with the SUNEO. Guests can use their steam room, sauna, and relaxation rooms free of charge by booking through reception. They also offer treatments including massages and facials at very reasonable prices, and there may even be some room for negotiation if haggling is your thing! Car Hire & Exploring the Island We hired a car through the TUI rep with Eurohire. The price was around £40 per day, including fully comprehensive insurance with no deposit required. Collection and drop-off were straightforward, and having a car allowed us to explore much more of the island. A huge recommendation from us is Banana Beach. It’s incredibly Instagrammable, but more importantly it’s a beautiful sandy beach with shallow water extending a long way out and a very calm shoreline, making it ideal for families and children. Overall Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel. The staff are exceptional, the food is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the location is ideal for both relaxing and exploring the island. The hotel is well maintained, mobility-friendly, offers good Wi-Fi, and provides a varied entertainment programme without feeling overwhelming. For the price paid, we felt it offered fantastic value for money, and we would happily return.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The evening entertainment was great, especially the live bands. There was fresh fruit every day and a great variety of dishes. You could go to a hotel next door (which I understand was part of the same chain) for dinner, all inclusive including drinks. There was love music and the setting was great - it was all outdoor, trees and flowers everywhere. All you needed to do was let the reception know a day in advance as the place can get booked up. There's a spa place opposite which you can use, massages are paid but the sauna and steam room are free of charge! All of the staff were attentive, polite, and welcoming from start to finish. Service at the bar was excellent, with drinks served very quickly. Anya was there almost every evening and she was great. The housekeepers were always out ensuring the whole hotel is nice and clean. Towels were changed regularly. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well designed. We asked for a room to face the garden and they accommodated this request. It was quiet and private. Even though the hotel was busy, you could always get a sunbed and I don't think I've noticed anyone reserving the beds. I don't think I can find one bad thing to say about this hotel. There's a Polish lady at reception, Tamara, she's lovely. If you have any issues, just speak with her. Victoria was also great, she told us we can request packed lunches if we have day trips; we'd need to tell them a day on advance so they can prepare them. The reception also provided bottles of water for free. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return to Zakynthos to try some other hotels from the same TUI Suneo family!

We previously visited this hotel in 2022 and we were not disappointed on our return! Last time we came we were aware that C block had been renovated, so we requested to be over there as it’s also a bit quieter with decent views over the bay. The room was large, with a double bed, glass divider and two single beds. There was plenty of wardrobe space with a vanity area and small fridge. The bathroom was also fresh and modern, although a slight design fault meant we had to roll up a towel and put it agains the shower screen or water ran out into the hallway! The cleaner in our block was a gem, a lovely lady who replenished towels daily and kept our room spotless. The food was very fresh and varied, something different every night, with loads of different meats and salads. The restaurant is also very clean, constant plate removal and table clearing, with lovely staff who always had a smile! The pool bar is also good, different snacks each day, made to order, with a large cocktail menu and coffee/ tea/ soft drinks machines for self service. The pool areas are good, a larger one with plenty of sunbeds and a smaller one with kids pool that’s a little more peaceful. It was a little disappointing to see people reserving beds at 6am and not returning til 2pm!! Overall it’s a great hotel, clean, modern and fun. There’s a couple of cats who frequent the pool area, very timid but loving, please love and feed them for us, especially the old gal who goes in the restaurant! Thank you admiral, and see you soon!

This hotel is a little gem it has just been refurbished. Fantastic location close to beaches bars and restaurants. The rooms are basic and adequate overlooking the pool areas. They come with tea and coffee making facilities a hairdryer, television with few English channels and a hairdryer. They are spotlessly clean and towels are changed frequently. The nightly entertainment ia varied and decent. We enjoyed the Michael Jackson tribute night. The food is amazing best food we had experienced in an all inclusive there is an excellent selection of fish and meat daily. The salads are varied and fresh. The snack bar makes snacks fresh to order and there is a good selection of cocktails on the all inclusive menu. The wine and local beer is also good. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The main pool area is very lively with the usual activities through the day. There are plenty of sunbeds the pool area is very clean. Pool towels can be changed daily. The beach area is small but if you continue to the right you come to a great beach bar that charges 10 euro each for a sunbed for the day. Well worth a visit or continue further around the headland to the main beach. We would defiantly recommend this hotel and return.
