Zante Sun

We spent a week at Zante Sun in September and it was truly fantastic. 15 min drive from the airport which is great, the hotel is impressive when you pull up and very modern. Everywhere is spotlessly clean (they would clean the pool every morning and evening!) including the room. Rooms very modern and spacious, clean towels every day and our balcony was huge! All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The pool area was gorgeous, you can tell it has been renovated to a high standard and I loved the steps into the pool - a great place to sit and read a book in the sun whilst keeping cool. Plenty of sunbeds available at all times which is amazing, no sunbed wars. We really enjoyed how quiet and chill the hotel was, no animation team which was a huge plus as we just wanted to relax. Food was great and I felt got better each day we were there. Always fresh and replenished throughout, my favourite night was the Greek night! I felt like we ate really well all week - grilled veg, Greek salad, roasted potatoes and lots of different meat/fish options. Like I said everything is fresh and you can tell it’s not just been sat there for hours. It would be great if there were more fruit options/desserts but not a make or break by any means. We loved sitting outside to eat every day and the modern furnishings in the restaurant made it feel like less like an all inclusive which was nice. Snack bar is good too! I think the drinks need some improvement, for example in the restaurant the self serve juices are extremely sweet and artificial and the Diet Coke didn’t taste like branded Diet Coke. It’s not a make or break but I think for the money you’re paying, you expect these to be up to standard. Location wise it’s good, supermarket opposite and a 5 min walk to Cameo Island (where we excitedly got engaged!) which is so beautiful - a MUST visit (€5 entry with a photo keyring to take home) it really is gorgeous, we also saw a turtle in the sea whilst enjoying the view and having a drink there! We got a taxi into the town twice which did add up (€25 each way) so would probably hire a car next time, but well worth a visit. All in all, we had an absolutely amazing holiday here and were really impressed by everything. The weather was perfect and the hotel really lived up to its expectations. Would 100% recommend!

I have never seen a 4 star hotel without bottles of water included in the price in the rooms (all in), without hotel room slippers/bathrobe in the rooms. Regarding the restaurant, they only have very cheap ingredients for the food. The processed juices and the drinks are very cheap, unhealthy and undrinkable. There is no herbal tea. The soup is really VERY salty ! They give only aluminum utensils and plastic bowls to the customers which are carcinogenic. They also use plastic and aluminum to cover hot food which are also unhealthy and carcinogenic. There are not enough diversity in the food, not enough tasty fish nor enough different fruits (always oranges, apples, pineapples and grapefruit EVERY single day). There are only electric water heaters in plastic which are carcinogenic instead of inox 18/10. There was a chair full of blood in the restaurant and we found aluminum in our food. There are no activities in the evening for the tourists at the hotel like for the other 4-5 star hotels. The hotel is expensive for the LOW QUALITY/LOW DIVERSITY of food we get BUT we also have to pay 10€ per night EXTRA for taxes ! We have to PAY the bottles of water, that’s incredible!

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are well designed with a lovely big shower. The staff are great and helpful. The food is excellent, with a good choice the only thing we didn’t like is the table service for drinks. We got one drink per meal and the waitress didn’t return once our glasses were empty which was disappointing. We would have preferred self service drinks. There are 3 pools, the third one is hidden at the back of the hotel and has its own snack bar. All 3 pools are clean and good sun loungers! The location is great, in the evening you can go down from the front of the hotel to the dock where boats go to turtle island. There is a lovely bar set on a small island which you get to over a bridge, they charge to get in but it is worth it as we got free keying with our photo and another night was a free drink! It has its own small beach too! If you leave from the back of the hotel there is a road to the village of Agios Sostis where there are restaurants, bars and some shops and car/quad hire. All very quiet and a lovely location. We had a great time and would highly recommend. Also not far from the airport!

Myself and grown up family stayed here for a week . We stayed in a room with extra bedroom inside and walk in shower the room was ground floor with balcony/terrace the room was lovely it was spotless and the house keeper kept it that way all week .olive oil body wash and soap replacing daily. The pools 3 in total were beautiful again spotless jet washed and lounger cleaned everything night and morning before pools opened .plenty of lounger by all pools what ever time you went down no reservation of sun beds first thing. a bar and snack bar at large pool and bar at bottom pool the upper pool used main pool bar it was lovely if you want a peaceful holiday. No daily entertainment program ect .which we enjoyed for a change.The restaurant what can I say excellent on every level The food was hot replenished constantly and the variety was amazing the staff worked very hard it’s probably one of the best buffet restaurants we have eaten in thank you . The bar on the night was nice music playing no entertainment the bar was clean but not enough tables and chairs it would have been nice if second pool bar open too but drinks nice.and staff excellent. Near by if you wanted you could go out back gates turn right and at end of road turn left and a 5 minute stroll flat you reached a great cocktail bar open at night excellent cocktails beer ect a lovey cantina cafe and round the corner a street of bars shops very nice. Closer there is a bar / restaurant next to main entrance lovely if you wanted a change of scenery. Last day if you arrived in a morning your wrist band is cut of at check out we arrived at night so we could keep ours till 6 pm we paid 60 euro to keep room as they do not have a guest room the showers are in the public toilets then a changing room next door which means to have to leave your belongings whilst you shower in changing room and no towels provided I think this was the only big down fall of the hotel . Over all excellent holiday good value nice drinks excellent staff thank you Clare

Me and my wife stayed here 4th - 11th Aug 2025, Firstly if you are looking for a lively hotel with animation teams, aqua aerobics and lots of entertainment then this is not the place for you !! As a couple first time away without the kids we didn't want any of that. Its a lovely hotel and the staff work tirelessly day and night to keep it spotless, all the staff from front desk, cleaning and bar staff are all very polite and nothing is an issue. Rooms: we stayed in room 204 which overlooked the upstairs pool, nice and modern with two pushed together single beds that were pretty comfy. Bathroom has a hair dryer and good sized walk in shower. Air con was next level, first time ive moaned about being too cold before. No noise from other rooms or pool area once the patio door was closed. Pools: NO sunbed reservations until 10am and everyone stuck to it, it was bliss !. There were more than enough sunbeds for everyone and you could go for breakfast and stroll down 10am+ and still get two beds next to each other. There are three pools main one downstairs by the bar which is a decent size and rarely packed, people were using inflatables but it wasn't ridiculous busy. Pool upstairs was quieter and there was a small baby pool attached but sectioned of with railings. All in all lovely Food & Drink : Like an actual restaurant, comfy padded seats, no constant scrapping of canteen chairs. No self service drinks, once you were seated you you ordered drinks and soon as they were on the table it was yours, you could both get up and get food together without fear of loosing the table. Food was for me absolutely spot on. Greek salads, greek food in general...... good ! usual burger, nuggets and chips but i didn't go near any of it for the first time in AI. Breakfast for me was a let down but that was just because the hotel is mainly Italian, Dutch & German so no full English in sight. I didn't eat much for breakfast all week. Snackbar again usual burgers fries etc etc but you had to ask for it and they cooked it for you to order so no grubby little fingers picking it up and putting it back. Beer was good, proper solid big glasses too all day, my wife tried pretty much all the cocktails and found a couple that were ok, very sugary apparently. Shout out to Marino at the main bar, always happy and chatty. Skybar upstairs but like all AI's now they have to fleece you for more, this is a pay bar. Did it one night, don't bother its a rip off for what you get. Only real downside for us was that the hotel is a bit isolated, 20-25 minute walk into Laganas but no paths so can be a bit hairy at times with narrow roads and coaches. Cameo island is a must in the evening for a drink (10Euro each), only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. All in all great hotel, great holiday
